I agree. It's sad. Just driving through the suburbs could have you carjacked or killed. I think they should probably do something about that, because pretty soon all that ghetto is going to go straight into the wealthy city of Paris. France will then be a dead ghetto mess.

It depends on where you are, the time of the day, etc. But now, criminality is everywhere (downtown, suburbs), etc.

The surrounding of Paris , is much less beautiful than the Capital city , i know it because I live there , criminals are everywhere , and I think that the worst thing is that you can get beat just because you started looking at someone . 

Damn and i always thought Paris was the "Love City" of Europe. But that shit in the first video almost looks like the european version of Queensbridge or the Bronx damn.

I'd say both. I've only been to Paris once, so I don't really what's going on in the capital city, let alone the suburbs, but there's an obvious lack of police personnel in the whole country, and it's surely not going to get better anytime soon...

 

The problem now is that dissuasion no longer works. These people aren't afraid of the police. Actually there's not much to be afraid of anymore. It seems like guns are only there for aesthetic purposes. Officers are even afraid of shooting back. If anything bad happens and they're forced to draw their weapons, they can either end up in the cemetery or in jail. This might seem greatly exagerated, but that's basically it.

This is the most stupid thing i ever read, for your info: Muslim is a religion, and definition of religion is "Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.", you can't refer to a religion to say it's causing issue, because only people can cause issue -_- If i say for example "tables are causing issues" it would make no sense, you would ask me which table and why ... People from every religions cause issues, not only one religion in particular.

And, come in France, you would be surprised to see who is causing issues ...

Dude, are you OK?  Muslim IS a religion...no shit.  In that religion are people,...you following so far?  In many sects of that religion, made up of the true believers, have declared a holy war on non-Muslims, in particular Jews and Christians.  What the hell does that have to do with a damn table!?

He didn't say "Islam is causing an issue", he said "The Muslim population is causing an issue". As much as I think that's a terrible way to look at a problem (trying to pin this sort of thing on any one group involved is an invitation for pessimal public policy), he didn't claim a religion was the issue, he claimed people were the issue.

Furthermore; I didn't meant to pin it on one religion, it's just what I hear about the big immigration problems in England and France in particular.  I was just referring to that issue and the hard core haters in that religion.  Religion isn't the problem, it's the people in it...just like anything else I guess.  All religions suffer the same; from bad leadership and just plain bad people.

This is the biggest problem: people always pin issues on the same religion, which cause integration / adaptation problems, on both sides ... that's a part of the problem ... You can't always assign issues to one category of persons

Again, I'm referring to the fact that this is what I have heard and read about the huge radical Muslim immigrant population causing issue across the pond, in particular England and France.  This was around the time of the riots, and again around the time that young solider in England was run over, stabbed and then nearly beheaded, by Muslim extremist who said he did it in the name of Allah and Islam.

 

You just don't hear about mobs of Christians running amok, rioting and  murdering Muslims in cold blood.  Sorry if that offends, but it's true.

 

To OPs post, looks like the reporter doing the documentary has done several different locations as well.  Going to check it out, pretty interesting.
