it seems more stable but after about 3 or 4 callouts they stop coming in but everything else is working from random events to traffic stops...wierd

Nice job gents! Seems to be more stable for me. The only issue is my squad will disappear when I walk across the street to ID someone and see what they are up to. I turn around and my squad is gone. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, this is the result of too much stress being put on your system. If you have a trainer, try using it to "save" the car you're in.

Or if you don't have the money, you could do what I said and use the "save car" option in the Simple Native Trainer. I've had to do this while in shootouts, because my car would disappear on me when I was behind it (lots of high poly ELS cars) due to overstress.

Is the issue with the taser fixed in the hotfix also, or do we still have to manually install the taser and delete the AdvancedHookInit.asi?

Most other issues are fixed... i have several versions of GTA4 and LCPDFR installed on my system (named LCPDFR UK and NZ etc depending n what mods i use).. suddenly the NZ version decided not to play ball with the taser... so i had to install manually..

 

Its not hard to do, just dropping 3 files into the corect folder and delete the.asi file and she is all sweet again...

 

I dont know what impact the .asi has on other things but seems ok...

I had no crash, but maybe this helps: There is an option in the els.ini which i think has the default value of 200. Don't know the exact name of it. But it "deletes" els-vehicles that are out of this range (as far as I know). I've set it to 400, to receive backup. Maybe this helps

Am I the only one that has more issues with the hotfix applied? After applying it, the game keeps crashing on a very first callout, which always happens to be "resisting arrest"

Unfortunately, I still have issues. I had to restart scripts just to get it to recognise Alt+P on one occurrence (this happened numerous times before 1.0a as well), I experienced a crash while outfitting my officer in the police station while going on duty, and I experienced a crash while in a foot pursuit of a suspect after responding to a callout.

 

Speaking of which, I cannot respond to callouts from my 360 gamepad and must use my keyboard to press "Y" to respond to callouts.

 

While this is honestly a significant improvement over 1.0, I stil experience issues.

 

I, however, did not experience any issues executing traffic stops (where 1.0 was likely to crash for me).

 

Also, upon exiting clean, I receive an out of memory error. I received this same error with 1.0 and no other mods installed.

 

Game version is 1.7.0 from Steam.

 

Game config:

-norestrictions -nomemrestrict (to avoid the issue with NVIDIA Optimus with GTA IV)

 

LCPDFR:

Default Automatic Install save for these options:

 

Enabled Hardcore Mode

Disabled Display Taser

Set Ambient Events to 5

it's a lot less stable for me, I crash more and none of the bugs I had before have been fixed.

1.0a is much more stable now. I'm able to actually get the game to work and I haven't had any crashes. I occasionally will get some texture loss and I'll restart the game, but none of it has crashed. I do run into quite a bit with a call getting dispatched and I go to respond, only to have it disregard. I find that happening a lot.

 

I even put the police helper back in to use it and it's been pretty stable with that too. Only issue I have is that the police helper script will sometimes get an error with it, but I just reload scripts and it works.

 

Overall, good job and I'm enjoying it!

the Hotfix worked for me Very nice thanks now we can patrol agian NYPD clan is the Best policing Clan  woot!
