Papa Midnight got a reaction from RoadrunnerLP in Accurate NYPD Pack? That's just beautiful. Could you send that my way as well? :)

Papa Midnight reacted to Slimory in My strobes :DA lighting establishment here in Nova Scotia, can sell you ANY colour light that you wish to purchase, including Red/Blue, it's how YOU (the owner) chooses how to use them, some people get kicks out of those red/blue light apps on the iphone, putting it in the dash and pulling people over, which ruins it for everyone.

Papa Midnight reacted to cp702 in My strobes :DI think Slimory might just know Canadian laws better than a Dutchman. Not sure how it works in the Netherlands, but in the US, it is typically legal to install some sorts of lighting.
-
Papa Midnight reacted to Slimory in My strobes :DI don't have a criminal record, and I plan to keep it that way, laws in Nova Scotia Canada as Original Light stated, it varies from place to place, I CAN drive around with Amber strobes but that just looks silly driving around with them on anyway, white strobes, I cannot, the car has to be parked while they are on, everybody has their preference, some would rather not have lights in their vehicle, I for one, am the opposite.
Next time, don't be so rude.
-
Papa Midnight reacted to Original Light in My strobes :DCrustyNL, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
It is legal to put lights on a vehicle, but it depends on the state. You just can't turn them on while on a public road or area.
Would I put lights on my car? No. But just because someone else does, you shouldn't be rude to them.

Papa Midnight reacted to Slimory in My strobes :DCan't pull people over without red/blue or blue/blue lights red/white lights aren't even for pulling people over, thanks for showing you're lack of knowledge.. you would have to be pretty "SMRT S.M.R.T" to pull over for white strobe lights..
-
Papa Midnight reacted to Slimory in My strobes :Dfirst of all, strobe lights are NOT illegal, they are if you drive with them on, which the car is clearly parked. and there is nothing here saying i'm impersonating a cop.. I could have put them in a Honda Civic.. which my buddy has, along with my other buddy who has them installed in his elantra.. again.. not illegal and it's the same thing.. you're just butt hurt cause it just happened to be a crown vic.. know your facts about the light laws before you comment. there is no point to having them whatsoever, I like lights that's it, that's all, nothing more, nothing less.

Papa Midnight got a reaction from visible25 in Trouble with Display Adapters -Any help is appreciatedI ran into this same issue with my laptop's 680M. It's a combination of not recognising the Nvidia card and of an issue GTA4 has with cards that have 2GB of VRAM or more. Here's what you do:
Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel and confirm that the setting for GTA4 is "Dedicated: NVIDIA GPU" (or similar).
Apply and close.
Next, add the following command line launch parameters to GTAIV's shortcut (or as extra launch parameters in Steam): -nomemrestrict -norestrictions
Feel free to launch. Intel HD 4000 may still show as the GPU. Don't worry about it, it will be running off the NVIDIA card.

Hope this helps.
