An Anti-PC GTA V petition?

Has anyone else seen this abomination?

This video is what alerted me to it, and the narrator sums it up pretty well.

  • Why do you all care about some 13 year old making a petition about this? You actually think Rockstar will give a shit?

  • This will EXACTLY counterbalance the pro-PC version petition in Rockstar's eyes. That is to say, they won't care about either one.

  • Guys? http://gta.wikia.com/Trevor_Phillips I think you've been trolled.

Oh yes, this makes complete sense. All these console fanboy's complaining about PC and piracy, when GTA V hasn't even been released and there is hundreds of leaked gameplay footage and torrents already from only consoles. On top of that, reading over the comments hardly anyone posting in the petition's favor can hardly string together a competent sentence. What a bunch of whack jobs. Lol

Even if Rockstar did care about that petition, there is NO way they would take it seriously. The only way to actually get a message across to anyone is to do it in a professional manner. Leaving "To" blank, not filling in "[Your Name]," and the only reason being "So PC Gamers learn their lesson and stop stealing games" will definitely NOT get a message across to anyone. Having it fully filled out, with multiple (or one REALLY good) reasons that give details on why the petition should be taken into consideration might actually work, but not this.

The only thing this really shows is how incompetent console users. The comments by PC gamers are the only ones that make any sense.

The only thing I see Rockstar doing with this is sharing it with everyone as a joke.

Also, GTA V has only been made for consoles and people have already pirated it. Before it's even released.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

This trevor phillips guys is a stereotype, judgmental idiot. We got our rights, its not like we are the bad guys I mean seriously, modding GTA IV is a load of fun, this trevor dude probably did played pc and didn't know how to mod cuz he can't use his head.

I should sue him for defamation.

But whatever, rockstar isn't going to care, if it happens, rage war would happen

Guys?

Wouldn't "I think we've been trolled" be better?  :whistling:

Just another idiot looking for his 5 seconds of fame.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

Well, seeing as it being a fake name doesn't mean Rockstar gives less of a shit, no, I don't think I'd count in the "trolled" group.

You still replied to the topic as if it was a serious thing (which it still could be, the guy could have put that name so it got more attention).

By saying that this petition will counterbalance the pro-PC, you are implying that you believe this petition to be serious since the pro-PC one is. Being successfully trolled, I believe, depends on what the troll intended. In this case, it appears that he intended for the petition to be thought of as being serious while he wasn't actually creating it to be serious. Since you thought it was serious, you sir have been trolled.

Why the hell am I arguing this? Not like it matters at all.

To the contrary, I'm saying that neither one is serious. Note what followed - "That is, Rockstar doesn't care about either one".

In my case, I'm bored and this is basically the best way I can spend my time.

Saying that Rockstar doesn't care doesn't mean that the petitions are not serious. Petitions about gun control made by real, logical people are usually serious things, but the government might not care about them.

It's amazing how easily you can hire drone PCs to sign petitions as bots nowadays... they'll do anything for money. Honestly there's no true just cause for this petition on either side - I don't see consoles coming under fire like PCs do any time soon, and the PC audience have been hit hard enough anyway... there's no benefit to console gamers or PC gamers, so it's probably fake.

And how many gamers would actually give a fuck about piracy, anyway? It's the company's issue, not theirs.
