I'll have to give it a whirl later then. I get texture loss oddly frequently, not a whole lot, but enough to get on my nerves. I know why I get them, but if this may help cut down on that, I'll be a h

I'm going to give this a try. Thanks for spreading the word about this.

Also, has anyone noticed an increase in performance (fps, less lag in certain plaices), even if its miniscule?

Veni vidi vici

Works very well and textures and graphics have a boost.I can run ELS V7,VDH Police helper and IVDashcam with modded cars and it runs a lot smoother.Textures and cars will pop up a little quicker and the movement in the game is a lot better.

EFLC users stated that the EFLC.exe already has the LAA flag applied.

Crap... I've been looking for a performance enhancer for a while now. Thought I had one. Great post though! Glad to see it helped some others.

Bumping this thread, just found out about this.

Works great on my system. I've noticed I can have more than a half dozen ELS cars active at once and I don't see much of a lag, compared to before.

I read it all and so I have to test it out, even that I have an good high end gaming pc "still get crashes with an High end pc. I tested out just an hour ago, and boy It's Great, I noticed the speed increase and that It runs better on day time setting now 'and that my fraps as allot better, as I get 20% more. even that I have an High end gaming PC' I run ENB at high game settings, and It helps allot. I mean I can play for up to 2 hours with-out game crashes.

-It will still crash with unstable mods, witch is normal "I think"

-I run GTA IV on a SSD drive witch Helps, "SPEED"

Hello, I have just come across this and was wondering if it had any effect on multiplayer? And will it work with other games such as Minecraft?

Sorry if this is classed as necroposting.

It should work with other games, but most modern ones already have the LAA flag checked.

It won't work with Minecraft, as it's run via Java, and Java.exe already has this flag.

I guess I do not understand if I am using the program correctly.

I followed the instructions for basic and advanced but how do I know if it is operating correctly? Also I always launched GTA IV with LaunchGTAIV.exe but I also see a GTAIV.exe. On the LAA program the LaunchGTAIV.exe says false for both LAA and Original and that can't be changed or forced. The GTAIV.exe one will let me change laa and original to what I want.

What settings should I have to know this is working? Also once I have the settings right do I just click on the .exe in my root folder as normal or does it create a new one elsewhere?

I'm not new to computers or modding but nothing says what LAA/Original settings should be.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

Simply select the GTAIV.exe in your GTA IV folder with the LAA program, check the box and save. If the box is already checked, you don't need to do anything else.
