The tribute thing was way to soon and disrespectful in my opinion.  I didn't even read it, but still.

 

I hope it doesn't get worse over there.  It's a great city, and a great race.  Some of my dads friends did do this years Boston Marathon, thankfully none of them were there during the explotions.  I just hope everyone else who was injured by the explotion will have a quick recovery.

 

I also hope everyone stays safe there.

Hm, i guess you live around the Boston area. Wonder if they will do anything in my area. I do not see why we would not have school because their is no threat why we should not have school. We will see...

I was in an evening meeting at work, heard about it from my girlfriend.
A lot of people here in the Netherlands where shocked.

My prayers go to the victims and there family's.

Why on earth would someone do this? 
I can't imagine what I would do of something like this would happen over here.

Last weekend we had the marathon of Rotterdam..

that's my honest opinion

. I bet North Korea had something to do with this.... Today is the 101st birthday of there "beloved leader" and they always do important stuff on those dates.

 

I'm not even going to begin to describe on how misconceived that statement is.

 

These devices were loaded with bullets. When they exploded, bullets were sent flying into the immediate area. This is an IED.

Civilians should never have to even imagine having to ever experience these devices. It makes me absolutely sick how there are people in this world who can commit such horrendous crimes.

What the fuck is wrong with you? When a human being is injured / killed in a devestating attack such as this, you show respect and condolences.

 

What if YOUR family members or loved ones were killed by this attack? would you not care then?

Even though I'm not an American, I'm still hit by this. It's reminding me of the 7/7 attacks in London of which people I knew were injured / killed.

   She was in the medical tent being treated for dehydration when she was pulled out to make room for victims of the explosions.

   Zara Bielkus, a 30-year-old spectator from Boston, tells AFP news agency she heard two explosions seconds apart. Police then locked down the area.

   "When we heard them, everyone looked at each other and went very quiet, and within a minute police came," she says.

4. 2037:

   New York Police are deploying counter-terrorism police around Manhattan landmarks, reports say. NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said police were stepping up security in response to the Boston blasts.

I guess they just found out, but.. An 8 year old child died in the first explosion.

I was just in New York, its pretty far from Boston, but I was on a school trip and we were thinking of going to the Boston Marathon. This is just plain scary. It just proves that even if there aren't any guns, people will still find ways to kill or hurt other people. My condolences go out to those involved and their families.

Like I already said, its more then likely a home growing terrorist. Shouldn't of said that North Korea thing, hints why I put that line through that entire text. From what it looks like it was probaly a home growing terrirost that has nothing better to do with his pathetic life then to detonate's a bomb killing 2 and injuring 110+

I have been watching it on CNN and ABC news and I had to shut the T.V off because it was just terrible to hear the stories from people there. There was a guy that was in the stands about 20 feet from the first explosion and he said that everyone to the left of him was injured including one man that had lost his limbs.I do not know what is going on with this world anymore there is too much of this shit going on. I really hope justice is served and he does not get off for being clinically insane. R.I.P to all the people affected by this tragedy.
