This mod is not causing tasers to be deadly. Likely something else effecting your game.

Deadly Weapons is a plugin for LSPDFR to add a more dangerous feel to guns. GTA makes people sponges for gameplay, but LSPDFR aims for a more realistic approach.

 

With deadly weapons I increase damage taken by weapons for both the player and AI. Damage varies between limbs and whether the ped is wearing armor or not. It also introduces new auto panic button behavior for when the player fires their weapons.

Apologies, it seems pursuits are triggering correctly with plugin (certain instances, perhaps)… however,  it’s now come to my attention that STP traffic stop peds walk away (might not be all

the time) upon frisking or arresting, moreover, peds convulse for 2-3 seconds after being killed (damage framework system—or your setup— seems to mess with my euphoria modification) , since updating this plugin. On a side note, I’d like to request said features for consideration:

Drivers could act disobedient once a traffic stop is initiated. To elaborate, they could slam their breaks and exit their vehicle, subsequently yelling obscenities. Also, they could approach the officer or simply walk away from their vehicle.

 

Likewise, a paranoid passenger could flee from the traffic stop or go on the offensive, so a pursuit would start. Meanwhile, their driver could surrender or flee. This would add even more uncertainty to 'routine' stops.— @Corrupt412.  Many thanks.

So I don't see how this would effect euphoria but incompatibilities with other death handling scripts seems like a possibility. Not much I can do on my end for that.

As for the suggestions, that's actually a really good idea I'd like to add.

Log of STP issue... did about 5 traffic stops, 2 flagging weapon observation-- during one of the weapon scenarios, the ped walked away and back into their car, driving off lspdfr still treated the car has being on a trafic stop despite driving away, hence I was able to cancel the traffic stop having followed said vehicle for some time. This issue only happens with traffic stop peds, again, since updating this plugin ( I'm using same backup GTA exe. rage exe and lspdfr 4.9 used when I wasn't experiencing stp issue with previous build of deadlyweapons, so game updates--unless you want latest build of lspdfr-- is not the cause nor other scripts taking control of ped as they are resuming standard behaviour having not  installed anything new on this front)

Right....well step 1. Remove Deadly Weapons. Repeat the encounters you were doing when your issue of the peds driving off mid stop occurred. See if the issue persists.

Dope mod but I’m getting headshot installed whether it’s on or off in the .ini file, no idea how to fix.

I think I do know a solution, though at the current moment im hooked on Factorio again so updates might take a week or two.

Yeah, I am having the same issue I think. There's been a couple times now where I've died instantly in one bullet, even from attacks that don't appear to be a headshot. I don't have the Player Headshot Instakills setting on, either. I mean, I like deadly weapons but 1 bullet killing me through body armor? XD

i have this same issue and its annoyin asl so ima just remove it till he can fix it or tell us how to.

If you can reproduce it with debug enabled in the config, and send me the logs in my Discord and I can pinpoint what happened exactly.

Great mod, adds a really nice touch of realism in the game - but I got to admit it's too hard for me 😄 (maybe I'm just bad at the game, who knows). Do you have any plans of adding sort of a "difficulty" setting to the mod, or some option to lower the damage?

 

For me a perfect middle-ground between standard GTA and this mod would be perfect, not too hard but not too easy. If this was suggested before I'm sorry, I couldn't find it here.

Great Mod, the only thing missing would be a setting to edit how deadly guns actually are. For example add a setting to determine the damage of a gun shot.

From what I am hearing on here and on my Discord is that people don't actually like guns being deadly. What I am going to do is just slightly increase the vanilla damage and revert all the damage modifiers DW does.

Deciding if I should do 200% or 150% vanilla damage. I will also remove all limb checking and headshot damage multipliers. Not sure what y'all want, but deadly weapons is not it lol

Is there anyway to customize how much the damage is increased? I really love the mod but I wish you could customize the damage multiplayer to be somewhere in-between this mod and the base game.

I like deadly guns. The mod is great. Please don't nerf too much!

This plugin is amazing. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add difficulty/realism to their LSPDFR.

 

It is a great plugin. I love how it works, though I do wish there was a way to customize how much damage they do (or an in-game difficulty preset). I'm gonna continue using it as is but it's kind of annoying to die a pistol from half a block away in one shot with armor (I'm just bad I guess lol). Even died a couple of times to an arm shot with armor from near the same distance. All though I don't know if that ignores armor since it isn't an armor-covered area in a technical sense.

Currently nothing ignores armor except headshots if that is enabled.
In the future im adding an alternate mode which is just the vanilla damage + whatever % people choose if they want something easier.

As for the long range super pistols, that's GTA being rude. I've tried everything to change a peds accuracy in the code but it never seems to work without editing the metas.

There's a few mods that change the pedaccuracy.meta file, in order to make AI less accurate, as in you won't get precision killed while going 60 mph in a vehicle. However, it seems DeadlyWeapons overrides that .meta file. Any chance for that to be a toggle in the future?

Now where in the world do you get that idea? DeadlyWeapons does not touch any of the games files. Please don't spread false information about it.
