I donated and am still showing as a non subscriber and can't attach the tape to my cruiser without a barrier.... Any help?

You can message me on discord or email me for any questions related to the benefactor program or donations. As for attaching tape directly to a vehicle, there is a setting for this in the INI.

Crash on latest LSPDFR/GTA V when deleting tape

whenever i tried to place the police tape on the ground i whine up throwing a baseball after that, any idea? thanks

laggy though, huuuuge fps drops as soon as i use tape. but worth it for the realism

The menu is not opening!

I use Control G (default) and I've tried other keybinds....  nothing!!!

love the idea of this mod, but I could really use your help installing it properly.

I first manually installed the app in accordance with your instruction(LML), later when I try to load it during game, this alert poped out telling me my RagePluginUI is out of date, yet I literally just downloaded the RagePluginHook few days ago.

Did I install it wrong or load it incorrectly?

I have bean trying to install this mod to LSPDFR, i have activated it in RAGE but when i load up the game i cant seem to actualy get the menu or the CTRL+G to work?

is there a way i could get this to work as it has bean doing my head in.

RageNativeUI is separate from RagePluginHook. The latest version should be included in the police tape download, make sure you copied it over to the game folder. It's called RageNativeUI.dll. You can also download the latest version here: https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases

Need more information to help. Make sure you've followed the readme carefully, if you still can't get it to work, upload your RagePluginHook.log file.

Something is wrong with the plugin. Control-G does no longer works for me either. I don't think it's supported by the LSPDFR anymore.

Plugin works fine and has nothing to do with LSPDFR. You have either installed it wrong or are using it wrong. Maybe it's Shift+G? I don't remember off the top of my head, just check the readme.

The fact that you can't remember what the correct key is, tells me a lot right there. 

It was working. But it does no longer work. The fact that there are others experiencing the same issue also speaks volumes. 

The fact that you offered no suggestions to help many others resolve the issue with the plugin speaks volumes. 

You only came on here to say, that it's how we all installed it. That's not very community friendly. 

The installation is very simple and I'm willing to bet that many on here had installed it correctly. 

But you offer no suggestions.

For those having trouble with accessing the menu in Police Tape, you will need to install the Lenny's Mod Loader. It's required. Unfortunately, it is required.

I know it's confusing for those who are not used to using the LML since there are other Police Tapes out there saying that you only need to dump the files into the main directory. But yes, you do need to use this Lenny Mod Loader tool to install the Police Tape.

First of all, LML is not required for Police Tape. You can install it as a traditional DLC if you want. I don't know what you're talking about "other police tapes" the "only dump the files into the main directory" as this is the only police tape mod, and has always required you to install either an LML package or DLC pack in order to add the new models to the game. 

As for looking up the keys, I hadn't been on my PC in a few days to check. I just looked, and just like I thought (and said) before, the default keybinding is indeed Ctrl+G. I provided the information I had at the time. The mod continues to work just fine with the latest version of LSPDFR. If it's not working for you then the fact is you likely installed something wrong. Upload your log file. I can't help you without a log file. I don't appreciate you coming in here complaining about stuff and being impatient, when you won't even provide any useful information to guide you. You said it yourself: the installation is very simple. So I don't know why it isn't working for you, but it's not because of any inherent flaw of the mod.

Nobody said anything about an "inherent flaw". You just dreamed that up because you took a comment about a product personally. You shouldn't do that and jump to conclusions.

Sorry you don't "appreciate complaints"... that's life. Products come with complaints or comments. It just happens that way. You better get used to that if you plan on living life like a normal human being.

How do you know it was installed improperly? 

Sorry that you sense "tone"... you're just too sensitive. 

The video that I included resolved the issue. You didn't suggest anything. I at least, tried something on my own. Your tone indicated you were more interested in blaming someone rather than helping. Why did my suggestion fix the issue?

Is there anyway to reduce the lag when you've placed down barracades/tape?

For some reason this plugin makes me spawn in as michael... and then when I use LSPDFR character menu to use my character, the hair is all fucked up... why do the best plugin devs abandon their work

Edit: crashes every time you try to delete more than 4 tapes at a time, this plugin is outdated

This plugin does absolutely nothing at all that would affect your player character. It was updated in December and works just fine, not abandoned in the slightest. Never had a crash when deleting tape either. Sounds like you've got some other issues with your game, but feel free to upload a log file if you do encounter a crash with the plugin and I'll take a look.

Been modding with LSPDFR for almost two years now, I think I've had my fair share of issues and crashes... the plugin is long gone out of any of my folders. I know for certain there was no "issue" on my end, just your outdated plugin messing with the bare minimal (updated no less) plugins I already have installed. But I like your confidence. 🙂 Bold of you to think a plugin last updated beginning of 2020 isn't outdated.

I've been creating mods for LSPDFR for about 5 years now, what's your point? And I'm not sure what you're trying to prove by boasting about how many issues you've had. But even if it hadn't been updated recently, I'm not sure where you and other people get this idea that a mod has to be constantly updated or else it will have issues. Simple mods like this one don't need to be updated all the time to keep working. It's been updated to add new features, but the original version from 3 years ago would still work on the latest game version. Clearly there was some "issue" on your end, hence your post.
