# About

Absolute Exact Tracker is an LSPDFR plugin created to make police investigations more immersive and interactive.

The plugin allows officers to turn information from police records into an active suspect search. After finding a suspect name through normal police gameplay, officers can use the tracker system to locate that person in the game world.

Instead of only reading records, the officer can continue the investigation by following a GPS route and finding the suspect.

## Main Features

- Search suspects by name

- Track suspects from police records

- Creates a GPS route to the target

- Keeps tracked suspects persistent

- Uses existing NPC data

- Works with LSPDFR persona systems

- Designed for realistic patrol scenarios

## Example Scenario

An officer performs a vehicle check and discovers the owner has an active record.

The officer opens Absolute Exact Tracker, enters the suspect name, receives a location, travels there, and continues the investigation.

## Purpose

The goal of Absolute Exact Tracker is to bridge the gap between database checks and real-world police interactions, making patrols feel more dynamic and realistic.

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

Absolute Exact Tracker v1.1

Added:

  • Added configurable keybind support through AbsoluteExactTracker.ini

  • Added suspect red blip after the target is located

  • Red blip automatically disappears when reaching the suspect

  • Improved name searching (extra spaces no longer cause a failed search)

Notes:

  • The tracker searches suspect/person names, not vehicle plates.

  • Check the vehicle/person first, get the registered name, then enter that name into the tracker.

Short Description

Track suspects from police records and locate them in LSPDFR.

If this work as intended. This could be a really cool mod. Imagine stopping a vehicle and the registered owner as a warrant, or the vehicle is unregistered etc…but the driver you stop is not the owner. You can now go look for that person where he lives etc….and talk to them, charge them or arrest them. Sounds like a really cool idea. Hope this works.

Or another situation would be you discover an abandoned vehicle you do your checks and last owner on record you go to the address and find out why that vehicle was dumped…. Could it be an insurance scam a body dump or a crime scene where a body was found inside the vehicle this can be great for a detective role play

This is great and overdue was excited to try it but every name I search I get the same response (name not found in database), tried several times using names of peds that I had just interacted with and then started running plates on parked cars and entered those names and it was the same response

Thanks for the feedback. I've tested the plugin using names obtained from vehicle registration checks , and it has been working on my end. Could you let me know exactly how you obtained the names and the steps you followed? If possible, please send a screenshot showing the suspect's name in-game and another showing exactly what was entered into the tracker search box. That would help me investigate. ( IT DOESNT WORK WITH NPC INTERACTIONS )

That’s a very interesting feature you’ve developed. Often, you get positive feedback regarding a vehicle, but the owner isn't actually there to interact with. Does this enhancement kick in during specific callouts to allow the investigation to continue? Does *ComputerLite* need to be used to spawn the ped or enable GPS tracking, or can any system be used?

Thanks! The idea is to continue the investigation after checking a vehicle and getting the registered person's name.

How to use it:

  1. Check a vehicle/person and get the name from the records.

  2. Enter the name into the tracker soon after the check, before the record disappears from CompuLite.

  3. The tracker will locate the suspect and allow you to continue the investigation.

The name does not transfer automatically from CompuLite, so you need to manually enter it.

The plugin does not require specific callouts. CompuLite is recommended for the vehicle/person records, but the tracking feature is handled by the plugin.

I am guessing it's because I don't have Computer Lite installed. I have PdCom

Thanks for the suggestion 👍 I’m looking into adding support for more computer systems like PdComp/CompuLite in a future update.

Yeah, that might be the reason 👍 The current version was made around CompuLite/LSPDFR Person data, so PdCom might not work with it yet. I’ll look into more compatibility in the future 🙌

Is this mod created with AI-generated code in any capacity, and if so how much?

I made this mod myself and I’ve been working on it, testing it, and improving it .

The steps I took was sitting in my vehicle I use STP to run vehicle tag and then when the owners name pops up on the left side of my screen I copy the name exact into this mod search bar and every time I get the same response ped not found in data base, I then use peds names from previous interactions from history on NexusMDT and also gets same results
