Code Red Callouts.PNG

Current Callouts:

  • Stolen Tanker - A tanker truck filled with flammable and dangerous fuel has been stolen! Get it stopped before something goes horribly wrong!
  • Stolen Money Truck - A bank's money truck has been stolen with a large amount of money inside! Recover the money and the truck before they get away!
  • Vicious Dog - A dog has been reported as being vicious towards people, get there and find out if it's just a paranoid person or if it really is dangerous...
  • Customer Refusing To Pay - An establishment reports a customer not willing to pay for their food, go and sort it out!
  • Indecent Exposure - Someone has been reported as showing off their crown jewels, so to speak, go and check it out.
  • Officer Pressed Panic Button - A fellow officer needs YOUR help now! They're in trouble, get there quick! [Wait until dispatch finishes speaking before accepting for better immersion]

Special Mentions:

Developers:

  • @fiskey111 - for always being welcoming and helpful whenever I had an issue or needed advice!
  • And everyone else over on the LSPDFR API forums when I came to you (with a stupidly simple error most of the time) and you guys helped me out!

Correct. But @BeastyBill88 I will have a look but there's honestly not a whole lot I can do, pursuit callout are fairly simple for the most part in the fact that they dont have much code in them so there's nowhere I can cut back or anything. Maybe it's just the callout cleaning up.

Didn't know about paste bin, its not very often that I have to show my full RHP log lol.

I think it might be the callout clean up as it started after I put the suspect in cuffs and then the lag started.

@JaiTheGamer58 Thanks for the review! However, that will not be because of my plugin. My plugin does not have anything running in the background other than when you are on a call and even then it should not effect performance anymore than any other callout.

@iGoDPrince Thanks for the review, appreciate your feedback however I personally feel you should be rating what is provided in my download rather than things you'd like to see (I'm all for hearing what you'd like to see but don't feel it fair to penalise for it).

Hi @ScottenBoyy,

I was thinking about downloading this but see that you updated it today. Is RPH 47 a requirement now or will the mod still work with lower versions (I still have RPH45)?

I"m holding off on updating because I've heard mixed reviews of the stability of RPH 47 and the latest GTA 5 update. Would love to give your mod a shot if it can run on lower versions of RPH.

Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure to the answer to that but I suppose you could give it a shot and if it doesn't work then just remove it? Appreciate you giving the mod a shot :)

I downloaded it yesterday and have played about 3 sessions with it and so far so good, any crashes I experienced were for differnet mods. But I haven't done all the callouts yet.

I'll play a few more sessions and try to force the callouts. If its all good I'll review and donate.

@ScottenBoyy,

The callouts seem to work with RPH 45 but I'm having some issues with two of them, The Stolen Tanker and The Stolen Money Truck when they are far away (off the mini-map and represented by the white star) the moment I accept the call out when they are far away, LSPDFR crashes and I have to reload with the RPH console and Force Duty.

I'll refrain from writing a review  because these issues are may very well be the result of running an old version of RPH.

I do like the call out package though, it gives me a bit more variety to my game.

Once I update RPH and all the rest of my mods, I'll write a review.

Bottom line, the callouts work with RPH 45 with the exception of the distance issue above.

@thecovesf 1. You're running old version of RPH so that's not likely to help but yes I am aware of an issue with those callout. 2. Please provide me with a RagePluginHook log so I can see the crash and it's details

@s1219 Number 2 applies to you. :)

Hey man, I really love your call-outs, they bring some variety at the very least. Awesome job.

Everything works fine except I don't get dispatch audio (I do get the dispatch text) on 3 call-outs I noticed now; Indecent exposure-Vicious dog-Customer refusing to pay.

I can accept the call-outs (if I notice them in my display) and finish them without a problem. It's just the audio.

Anything to be done about it or is it on my end? I do believe they used to work just before the latest GTAV, RPH and all that jazz updates.

Thanks in advance for your time and effort...people like you make LSPDFR an even more awesome experience.

Peace and a Colt .45

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! And you're correct but there's nothing I can do. Those certain callouts dont have audio as there's no dispatch audio that fits them well enough however I'll have another look for relevant dispatch audio.

Okay, thanks man, that would be even more awesome. Just because it brings more immersion and sometimes in the heat of playing or when I'm paying attention to my driving I just miss those call-outs because I don't hear them...and I do really like to take them.

Yeah I understand but didn't want to put some audio it that wasn't really appropriate.

Off course...that I do understand. I didn't realize it is so hard to find or make the right audio. But then again, I don't know anything of making your own scrips or mods :teehee:

Thanks again and keep up the good work

Yes, the audio used in 99.9% of callouts and plugins for the dispatch is from the GTA 5 game files so there is limited options when it comes to the audio.

No idea if this is still being developed, but I am getting a fatal LSPDFR crash, cause by a callout spawned by this plugin:
