What do you mean nothing loads? And what part of going on duty do you mean? Do you mean the first time you leave the station after selecting your character, when you would normally select a vehicle? If that's the case it might be a vehicle mod. One thing you could try is going opening firstresponse.ini inside grand theft auto ivscripts and change preloadallmodels from false to true.

Try disabling read-only protection from the game files in program files/rockstar games/grand theft auto iv/ Particularly those files inside the commondata folder.

Well then champ, until someone else picks them up as projects here is my only suggestion;

Lt.Caine's versions of the default vehicles have multiple liveries. You just have to make sure they are enabled in the vehicldes.ide file. I think in the gallery here under Sam you might be able to find some improved versions of some other default vehicles. It's also something that I've been doing myself but I've got enough on my plate at the moment before I add on two more for you.

Yeah well I figure that I've used a vapid cruiser that someone else provided unlocked and open for editing, the same with Sam's lightbar and Lt Caine's lightbar so I'd definitely release everything as open and I might even do a police equipment pack that just has all computer/radio/walkie talkie/traffic advisers that I've made or pulled out of the default cars.

Alright here's an example of what I've been doing with non-els traffic advisor bars and the indicator mod. 8-component traffic advisor bar with arrows to direct traffic following a pullover. I've also had to edit the indicators and taillights of the Vapid to accomodate these changes but it's not a problem. It looks great when you have the strobes mod fully activated though. I might do a video that shows off all these traffic bars that I've been doing.

Slicktop Vincent is ready to go, fully marked is just a bit behind, Rebla needs a redo. But experimenting last night with the traffic advisor on the Vapid really got me thinking about the possibilities. I pretty much taught myself how to get it to work but I understand it now. The possibilities with just indicators and the indicator mod or the strobes mod are great, without ELS even having to be involved at all. I should have some ready for first release soon :)

For starters it looks like your game version is out of date. You need 1.0.7.0 Post a G17 diagnostic log (follow the links in my signature or the stickied topics at the top of this support forum) to give us more information.

BoomCBS is correct. With the baton/bat out, aiming at the civilian and pressing E should bring up the citation screen. It's a bit fiddly sometimes though but generally if you have that weapon out and have right clicked, aiming at the ped and then press E it should come up.

I'm not quite sure what reloading the scripts will do Ross... But yeah as of yet it's not possible to search the trunk of a car with the driver inside, even though the prompt may come up. You can order them to leave the car and they will generally get out and stand on the side of the road though. However, they won't get back in the car afterwards.

That file in your GTA directory? I don't believe that dll is associated with the mod at all, you shouldn't have had it installed in the first place unless it was installed by another mod. I for one don't have that file in either of my installations but I know that it came with trafficload when I tried it out.

Another quality post by empire3010 Americanjoyride; As long as you have truly done everything that we've suggested, and that you've even done a full wipe and reinstall (deleting all local content including the game content that isn't stored in the program files folder) then I think you could just be shit out of luck, to put it bluntly. You've got essentially 3 of the most active support forum posters trying every contingency that we know and we've come up with nothing. Actually, each diagnostic you've posted has had mods other than LCPDFR installed (IV dash cam, internet radio etc.). Although it's unlikely that the mods conflict, can you please confirm you've tried just the original game, with lcpdfr installed and nothing else?

Hmm, so you have tried using other versions of scripthook? There mod installs one version, but there is a newer one in existence that the mod can still run with. How about trying v0.91 of the mod?

When you enter the station you have to head to the middle room, just by going directly straight from when you enter the station. If you press E while in a station it will show the tutorial but it can't be cancelled at the moment, you just have to wait for it to finish.

Your run speed depends on the animation settings for the ped you choose. Many of the peds (including the NOOSE team and the fat cops) will actually run at full speed when they are carrying a 2 handed weapon like a shotgun or an assault rifle, rather than with a 1 handed weapon like the pistol.

Why don't you just post the screenshot of the texture as it looks on the vehicle ingame? If it looks cool, people will download it. If it looks ridiculous or poorly edited, people won't. People here tend to want a degree of seriousness or realism with the way their game looks. Others would be happy if it looks a bit silly but until you post a picture, we can't really say anything about the specific skin you have made.

That all depends on whether or not it looks any good. Some pictures would help us decide.

Check out this thread and see if the problem is the same as yours: Tom and I literally went through every contingency we had to try and fix the OP's problem but it just seemed to be something with the version that gets downloaded from gamestop and installed in 2k games that has issues with the mod. The only solution that worked for the OP of that thread was to buy a different copy from elsewhere.

It's the 2k games version, everyone seems to have trouble with it.
