That's a pursuit-in-progress random world event. They are in RC2 but are very rare.

Press Alt-T (with the Alt-M menu open?) will set them to the mode when they turn on together with the regular lights/siren button.

What kind of modding exactly? What do you want to be able to do? What experience or skills do you have?

I think what the OP is saying is that people that have an unhealthy obsession with policing (who may be inclined to impersonate police regardless) would be attracted to LCPD:FR as an outlet for their fantasies, but there's not much we can do about that. I guess it just happens with any community based around a particular interest. You get diehard fans and you get mentally imbalanced hyper-enthusiasts.

That shouldn't be a problem if just the texture is orange as opposed to black. As long as the selection wasn't still active when you did the next side. Right? Thanks Corleone, I ended up sort doing what you said and just pull the door off the original, deleted the parts that had been mapping properly (leaving the unmapped, original door interior) and did the opposite to the modified vehicle but I just don't understand how to merge both sides into the same model.

What, you think that because of what this mod teaches people about policework they will then go and try it in real life? Because it doesn't say all that much about policework than the general public would know anyway, and there are plenty of other more detailed (immersive?) police simulators out there. Yeah the mod might attract people who are interested in becoming police or are just interested in policing but so what, that's sort of expected. A car-racing game will attract a substantial amount of people who follow car-racing and are interested in cars.

I understand except for the part about merging two meshes. I'm not really well versed in Zmodeler, not sure how to do this or how to use the attach tool properly (if that's what you use).

Thanks for the tutorial Corleone, it worked well. However, after mapping and exporting my model following your tutorial I've noticed I've somehow managed to accidentally map the interior side of the rear passenger door. Is there a way to fix this by just removing the mapping for that area somehow or is re-mapping the model the best fix?

Exactly as theninja said, you'd need access to the unlocked model and to then edit it in zmodeler.

Ingame, open SNT and go into the options and select keybindings /disable Or open the trainer.ini file where you installed it and find the line about the key bindings, change the value to 0 or false

Yeah well you'll get the same fileaccess warning if you have the application running while you're trying to modify it too so that's probably right.

Important notes written out: - Run as Administrator - Disable Read-Only on your GTA IV folder - Make sure you've got 4 green ticks in the Wizard

Do you have Simple Native Trainer? It's likely you need to disable the SNT key bindings.

What's the space on your hard drive like? Have you defragged recently? Have you updated your video card drivers?
