  1. That one? Default police cruiser. I've pulled all the police equipment from the default cars (pushrod, 3x lightbars, computer, radio, aerials, siren boxes etc.) into one .z3d file that I use.
  2. Post a diagnostic log. Also use the printscreen button, no need for photos of your monitor. -
  3. Which rambar are you talking about? The default one or one you have downloaded?
  4. It depends what rambar you are talking about and where the texture for it is located.
  5. For comparison: Sam's non-els crown vic's .wft is about 3.38MB The .wft for this is 643KB (but this doesn't have lights or other police equipment) Thanks man, I might have a play with modding it!
  6. In the picture of the Vincent? The spotlight is just using Jorge's spotlight mod. If it looks a bit different it's probably just my ENB. The model itself in the middle of the lightbar is just one of the rotators from the default police cruiser's lightbar but it's not attached to the siren so it doesn't rotate. Pretty much there are three parts to it, the black box base which is just attached to the vehicle chassis and then half the lights that are attached to the left rear indicator and the other half of the lights that are attached to the right indicator. Each light has it's own texture (so you can change their colour or shape) in the emerglights_emis file and because they are attatched to the indicators the game knows to 'brighten' those textures whenever the indicators on the vehicle are active. So that means when you use the strobes mod or the indicator script that lets you control the indicators, you essentially have control of the traffic advisor bar too. The downside is that it's pretty limited in what you can do, either left-side on, right-side on or both sides on. No patterns and no more than 2 states at this stage. I have included the arrow pattern for the traffic advisor bars in the 'advanced users' folder for each download.

  8. Burning your money will be a better use of it than buying an alienware laptop
  9. Ooooh right my mistake! Yeah similar story, it's just showing the transparent livery so the base car paint is visible. Again it's modded carcols. I think the colour code is 3,3,103,
  10. Okay I'll take it that English isn't your first language so I'll give you a pass on that. In the same place you checked that resource usage, when you pause the game and go to the display options, you should be able to adjust the sliders and the other settings to reduce the quality (change things down to low, turn off AA-ing, reduce the resolution) Or go to a computer store and buy a new graphics card. Use this website: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx And select Grand Theft Auto IV to check how your computer can handle the game.
  11. Do you mean on the stealth slicktop Vincent? The decals (ie the police markings) are gray images but the rest of it is transparent. The base paint gray/silver colour is just from some colours I added to the carcols line. They're in the readme if you're after the colour codes.
  12. Lower the settings as much as possible or more preferably, get a new graphics card. The first number should not be bigger than the second number.
  13. Thanks for the info Corleone. I'm not sure what the go is with the headlights, they're there and I don't remember doing anything with them but it's almost like they should be higher in the hierarchy so they aren't overlapped by the indicators.
  14. Well it'd be about time we got some more info. Very keen.
  15. I think that works by attaching two different light setups to 'extra' parts but like you said, it could end up spawning a totally unmarked car with a lightbar so that occasion (like a 1 in 8 chance under normal conditions?) would be a bit funny. I might play around with it though, thanks for the idea.
  16. Update! Slicktop Vapid Cruiser is now released: Both variants of the Maibatsu Police Vincent are now released: I have also worked on a little mod of the Vapid slicktop to have the traditional hubcaps and an extra set of lights in the sun visor: I'm happy to do a few custom mods like that if people want different light positions but I think the next big project will be revisiting the Rebla. edit: Would anyone be able to describe how the white parts of Sam's non-els whelen lightbar seem to lightup while ingame? They don't appear to be attached to anything special like indicators or headlights. Maybe it's just the texture they are mapped to?
  17. A model is a model, in lots of cases the same model that was converted to SA was converted to gta iv.

    • Version 2.1
Maibtasu Police Vincent (in slicktop and lightbar variants) by Ekalb Version 2.1 New version released! I've almost totally rebuilt both models from the ground up with a number of bugs fixed, improved lighting setups, new liveries and more. + 2.1 solves the interior lighting units from spinning around in the fbi version and reduces the file size for both vehicles. ---------- As part of a new deal with Japanese automaker Maibatsu, law enforcement in Liberty City has rolled out two new variants of the Vincent 4-door sedan. The first variant is a great replacement for the police2 slot and features a non-els modified Federal Signal Streethawk lightbar with rear-facing traffic advisor bar, police equipment, a pushrod and liveries for LCPD, LCPD Highway Patrol, NOOSE and Alderney State Troopers. The second variant is the slicktop which is suitable to replace the fbi vehicle. It features grill mounted and rear-dash mounted non-els lights, police equipment and liveries for LCPD, LCPD Gang Unit (Stealth) and NOOSE Tactical response, as well as a blank livery for unmarked operations. These vehicles are modified versions of original cars so they should fit well in your game world. Packaged with the download are comprehensive readme files that will cover installation, livery support, handling settings, carcols settings and mod support (including co-ords for the Spotlight mod). I appreciate any feedback and I'm open to suggestions and any issues that I can fix. CREDITS Original Maibatsu Vincent by Rockstar Games Federal Signal Streethawk (on lightbar variant) created by Lt. Caine and provided in open, unlocked format. All other modifications by Ekalb
  20. You need to be more specific than that and really starts by doing what we've been saying and getting us a diagnostic log. If you are having trouble with LCPDFR, this should be in the LCPD:FR support forum, where you've have seen the troubleshooter and all the support topics. Follow the links in my signature to get yourself started. But post that diagnostic log in this thread as a priority. We can't help you if you just ignore what we post.
  21. I'm more concerned with why it says 'obfuscated' for when it loads all the LCPDFR scripts. Maybe it's a problem with your version of scripthook.
  22. Rightclick the .exe file and select 'run as administrator'
