  1. If you're pirating a game -- esp a supposed prerelease, you deserve all the viruses they throw at you.
  2. Sure, feel free to right them or get someone who can use the LCPDFR API to right them. Personally, we focus on realism.
  3. A minority of people are, we can see the statistics of downloads of 1.0 vs issue reports. If you'd rather not use our software, you are free to use the Police Pursuit Mod or 0.95. If you'd like to, support is available in the support section of the LCPD First Response forum.
  4. This is just a notice that API key generation is back online and you can now link your account with LCPDFR Online Services using the manual installation. To do this, just go to the API key page, which is located here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/csapikeygen This will give you your API key. To then add this to LCPDFR, open the LCPDFR.ini file, and add your API key to the APIKey section of the file. The only way to link your account is being using the diagnostics tool. This will enable your name to be shown on the live blotter, and statistics will be recorded from your activity and progress in LCPDFR. We'll soon be rolling out more functionality for this, including personal heatmaps, bringing back the leaderboards and letting you view all your statistics on LCPDFR.com again. This should be coming later this month.
  5. Support issues go into the LCPDFR support forum, post there.. This is not an issue most people are seeing and is not an LCPDFR issue.
  6. The installer is a MSI, with a EXE wrapper that installs dependencies. Also; I don't think using exe's as installers is considered poor form, unless you consider Firefox, Filezilla and a lot of the most used Windows software as having poor form. The virtual machine check will probably be removed in a future release. You will have to use the manual installer, for which the key generation is not available at this time.

  11. I don't blame Russia for getting involved. It's a complete mess and disgrace what's going on over there right now.

  13. Well, that's an issue you'll have to contact Microsoft about.
  14. Great idea for API devs. :)

Sorry, this was a mistake on my part whilst changing the update server. This message should no longer appear.
  17. A developer could write a plugin which brings some water-based functionality to LCPDFR. However, we don't have any callouts or random events that could occur on water.

    List your system specifications please.
  20. LCPDFR was designed to run on a vanilla game (no other mods). Unfortunately you are outside of the scope of support we can offer. Although, car mods are really bad for causing crashes -- as the GTA engine was not made to deal with models with such a high polygon count.

  22. You're a moron. Read this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and do as it says.
  23. Well, it was working before apparently according to the log file. Whatever you changed stopped it from working. Revert your changes.
  24. There is an issue with your .NET installation. This is not an LCPDFR issue. Check .NET Framework 4.5 is installed correctly.
