  1. As well as the license plates, you should texture the rear panel a solid black, like so:

  3. Which vehicle slot did you install it in? Also, did you set the coronas to "ON" inside the vehicles .ini file?
  4. Open up the default_config.ini inside the ELS folder, scroll down until you see [ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ] then simply change the colour name beside the Extra_1, Extra_2, ect paths (ex: change "red" to "blue").

  6. It's *possible* the game is running out of memory. What are your system specs?
  7. With use of a separate script mod it's definitely possible, but with ELS on it's own, no, it's not (at-least afaik).
  8. Hi, welcome to the forums. :) 1. Yes, on the >LCPDFR download page, there is a User Documentation PDF file which contains all of LCPDFR's controls among other useful information. 2. For the most part yes, this depends on what you're installing though. Script modifications are mostly a drag and drop however vehicle modifications require use of other programs (such as OpenIV). You can spawn a vehicle using a modification called Simple Native Trainer or by pressing the tilde (~) key to open the in-game console and typing "spawn *vehicle name*" (ex. spawn police2). 3. ELS V8 will work with any ELS enabled vehicle. ELS enabled vehicles will have "ELS" written in the files title or under the ELS Compatibility section in the lower right hand corner of the download page, above the credits. 4. Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City. A set of 2 standalone expansion packs which do not require an original copy of Grand Theft Auto IV to run. As for some tips: Familiarize yourself with our Community Guidelines and make sure to research your issue before posting about it - chances are it's been asked and solved before. If you ever run into any problems (not relating to game/mod support) or have any questions, don't hesitate to PM myself or another staff member.
  9. If possible, I would remove the environmental light of the strobes in the reverse lights and add environmental light to the wig wags in the headlights. Other than that, it looks good.

  11. I guess that rules out system failure. Unfortunately I'm not sure, I've never heard of someone experiencing this before. I hope for your sake someone knows what's going on and knows how to fix it.
  12. That's true. I never considered that. In Australia just about every officer carries a taser, however they police certain regions of an entire state and not just one city, so response times are a lot longer.
  13. What are your system specs? Do other games work fine?
  14. I would of thought it'd be the bigger departments that have the tasers and the smaller ones that don't, not the other way around. I'm quite surprised the NYPD, who police a city full of millions people, don't issue tasers to all their officers. Yes it's expensive, but it's better than getting into a lawsuit with someone unlucky enough to be caught in the crossfire of a police shooting.
  15. I highly doubt it. GTA IV is a very system intensive game and a majority of the time a laptop just won't cut it.
  16. I would of thought tasers would of been more appropriate then using lethal force, there were people everywhere - a stray bullet could of easily hit an innocent civilian. This is something you'd expect to see in the 80's/early 90's not modern day New York City.
  17. The ELS configuration files go inside the ELS folder, you then need to edit the _SLOTCONTROL.ini file so the paths are correct (ex. If the configuration file is called "police" the path should look like this: File = police). As ineseri said, please read the included read-me files as instructions are usually included.
  18. All you have to do is edit the ELS configuration file to change the environmental colours. In-fact these cars come with that configuration file included, so all you have to do is copy and paste them to the ELS folder.
