  1. Would definitely love to see LCPDFR return. GTA IV is one of my favourite games in the series and I have so many good memories of playing LCPDFR between 2011-2015 and it's great the game actually runs decently on modern hardware now.
  2. From what I can find out it's technically a Smith and Wesson siren under a different name. Smith and Wesson were making emergency vehicle equipment until the '80s when their line was transferred to another company which then became C&V Electronics, who made the CV-100. C&V didn't seem to last that long and were acquired by Premier Hazard in the early '90s which is why it sounds so similar to those sirens. Take a look at the Smith and Wesson siren box, it's extremely similar, sharing the same dial design and colour scheme. This is the Model 800, it sounds extremely similar too.
  3. So glad you decided to voice your opinion over 3 years later while adding nothing contributing yourself. If you want a good non-ELS pack, Dispatchworks is the one to go for, but it didn't exist at the time of this thread creation nor my answer. https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/dispatchworks-pack-add-on-oiv-tuning-liveries
  4. Does anyone have the default mapped emergency vehicles or know where I can find them? Preferably with the default non ELS lightbars. Since GTA4Mods closed (and the archive has a clunky search feature) and GPM updated deleting all their old files, I can only find scraps here and there. I'm sure Lt.Caine had some, but I can only find those with modified lightbars.
  5. Could you do an add-on version please?
  6. This is something that should have carried over from GTA IV.
  7. World of Variety is the one causing this then, given you said you didn't install many things I'd just delete your mods folder and start over to get rid of it entirely. It might come with an uninstaller.oiv archive though, if it does, run that, but I'm not sure.
  8. OpenIV itself doesn't interfere with the game files whatsoever, it's just a tool for getting inside the game. I had a problem similar to this when I installed an outdated version of World of Variety though, so it must be something you've installed.
  9. I was quite excited to go back to my routes and play some LCPDFR but the compatibility patch is so broken I don't see the point when you can't even pull over cars, which is one of the main features of the mod. I understand development has shifted toward GTA V and/or Red Dead Redemption but it's extremely disappointing being unable to play LCPDFR, especially as I consider GTA IV to be a superior game to GTA V in more ways than one. Is there any work around for this? The only thing I can think of is to install a separate version of the game and install an older game patch (1.0.7.0), but the game runs like complete shit on modern hardware outside of the newest complete edition patch.
  10. You can run both at the same time with little issues provided keymaps don't overlap. I've ran both before without issue, however I'd reinforce what is said above and remove Arrest Manager for now as Albo isn't reguarly updating it. There's another mod that adds more police stations and jails if you're using Arrest Manager for that aspect.
  11. Just delete any LSPDFR/RPH files and folders from your game directory. You can see what these are by downloading the manual installation of LSPDFR.
  12. You're better off putting in common car names used by British agencies such as BMW, Vauxhaul, Mercedes, Hyundai, etc. Also look on GTA5Mods, lots on there too.
  13. It's 100% one of Bxbug's models, which one exactly I don't know, it doesn't appear to be on LCPDFR.
  14. Reminds me of CryENB for IV, which was one of my personal favourites.
  15. I don't run that mod but make sure all your callouts and other add-ons are compatible with the latest version of LSPDFR. I'm not 100% sure on this but I think it's related to LSPDFR loading all the callouts and plugins and such, but take that with some salt as I don't know. I have the same issue and it's incredibly annoying, I barely push 30 FPS with LSPDFR loaded but without it I easily get 90 FPS.
  16. Open up the LSPDFR.ini file and set "Main.PreloadAllModels" to false, see if this makes a difference.
