  1. When has Ford ever made cars that look "Japanese"? What does a "Japanese" design even look like? Japanese, in-fact most Asian cars, are very practical and most are economical too. This may be why Ford is trying to mimic their designs, whatever that design is.
  2. Oh look! A rival for the Nissan Juke when it comes to the ugliest modern cars!
  3. It's a high visibility traffic unit with the highway patrol, that's why the livery is so colourful. The only exterior equipment is an ANPR fitted Code 3 Defender (w/message board) and some antennas (that road safety sign is not part of the car). It pumps out 420 bhp and will do 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
  4. FPV (Ford Performance Vehicle) Falcon F6
  5. The "Police" text on the Taurus is a little too big in my opinion. Other than that, nice job Hurk.
  6. ...and how drunk were you when you decided to record this?
  7. I don't, nor do I think I ever will understand the naming of your files. The car looks good nonetheless.
  8. I don't know much about AMD cards so I can't help there but I know for a fact your 32-bit copy of Windows 7 is part of the problem. You have more than capable RAM, but a 32-bit OS limits you on how much RAM processes, such as games, can use. GTA IV is prone to memory leaks and is a very demanding game, so I'd suggest upgrading to a 64-bit OS. I can't guarantee upgrading will rule out the issue completely, but it'll certainly make it less prominent.
  9. It's most likely a unique font created by the department itself, in-case it's not though, this website is pretty good for font identification.

  12. It's a temporary folder created when the LCPDFR auto-installer installs itself. It has no affect on your game whatsoever. Also, moving to GTA IV Discussion. This section is for modding suggestions and requests only.
  13. I'm fairly sure it's department dependent, but I'd suggest moving the lightbar back so it sits between the front and rear doors (like in this photo), I'd also darken the window glass. Overall, it's not bad for a first model.
  14. Those trucks look like something out of a Halo game.
  15. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/category/32-lightbars/ The majority of these are mapped, be sure to check first though.
  16. The lightbar stands are not attached to the car, you need to scale the lightbar down so it fits. Positioning is okay, but a tad further back might look better. The lightstick in the rear window should be brought closer to the glass or raised up, as in it's current position it's too low and not visible from all angles.

  18. If Photoshop can read the format, yes. You'll have to find the road sign texture files first though, which is not an easy process. I spent a good hour searching for the texture files the other day but to no avail.
  19. The way it was worded made it seem like an official staff command, therefore it falls under backseat moderation. You're welcome to PM me to discuss this further as there's no reason to derail this topic.
  20. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to GTA IV Support Requests. Is your game patched to 1070? What are your computer specs? How are you installing the mods (what program)?
  21. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to GTA IV Discussion. This is probably the closest you're going to get:
  22. Create your own topic in the appropriate forum section, don't hijack others. Please don't backseat moderate. Report the post and move along.
  23. There's no need for that kind of attitude. You asked a question, to which your question was answered. There is no set time frame, it's done when it's done.
