  2. 1) Then I would have to map the vehicle, which I don't know how to do, and don't really have the time to learn it right now. 2) I'll see what I can do next week.
  3. Upload your logs. (LCPDFR.log mainly)
  4. Make sure you are using the ScriptHookDotNet.asi that comes with LCPDFR. If you have ScriptHookDotNet.dll, delete it.

  6. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Tutorials & Questions as this is a question regarding creating a mod for the game, not a general support request.
  7. I'm guessing they are specified in the script, so I don't know what they all are actually called. For example, LukeD's "Road Traffic Collision" would be "startcallout RTC" because that's what he named the callout in the script I guess.
  8. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The LCPDFR Support section is for issues regarding the LCPDFR modification itself. This is a pretty good tutorial: http://gtaforums.com/topic/420911-add-new-car-gta-iv/
  9. You need to make a text file called commandline.txt and put in your GTA IV directory. In the file, put this: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -percentvidmem 100 If it still doesn't work, lower your graphic settings.
  10. Use the trainer to remove the weapons you don't want, then save the game. Then when you load it, you won't have those weapons.
  11. You can force callouts by pressing ~ then typing startcallout calloutname (an invalid name will cause a random callout to start).
  12. 1) Apparently there are no patterns in ELS 8 that only used two of the primary extras in stage 3, but I'm pretty sure there was in ELS 7. So, no, unfortunately there is no way to do this with the way I set up the lighting. 2) you have to edit carcols.dat, see "IMPORTANT INFO.txt" in the file.
  13. Released, let me know if you want anything changed and I can update it:

  15. I've decided to try this out and this is what I have so far: I can make the directional bar and blue bar the same size if you want (short or long), or switch the sizes of them, or leave it as is. I'm still deciding what I will do with the front. The directional is activated in Stage 1 (this is how ELS is), the light bar in Stage 2, and the blue lights in Stage 3.
  16. Check "AdvancedMode" after opening the tool, then navigate to your LCPDFR.ini
  17. This isn't an issue, it's just the way the AI is. Sometimes you have to switch siren tones to get them to respond to the siren, and sometimes they won't respond at all. If you are crashing your car then you just need to drive better.
  18. The crashing you are experiencing can be from about 5000 different problems. It could be because of car mods, because of ELS, because of some other mod, or just because GTA didn't like that you installed any mod. Removing any and all mods besides LCPDFR is the best way to prevent this type of crashing. Or you could experiment with different mod setups, try installing one mod and see how long you can play before you install another. Eventually you might find the culprit that is causing the crashes. I have my own experience with this, and the cause was TrafficLoad.asi. Even though a lot of other people can play just fine with TrafficLoad, my game crashed with it. This just shows that everyone's situation is different and you will have to find your own solution.
  19. Make sure you have all of these installed, x86 if it gives you the option: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653

  21. Playing the missions with any mods installed is definitely not recommended. I'm surprised you got that far before running into problems. The only fix I can think of would be to remove mods until it works, which might mean a completely fresh install.

  24. EFLC comes on a standalone disc as well, that's what I have. But I'm not sure if that's what he is saying he has...If you have a disc that is only EFLC, then that will install as a separate game from GTA IV (in the directory /Rockstar Games/EFLC).
