  1. I bought it for PS3 when it came out, my mom bought it for my brother for Xbox 360 when it came out, my mom bought it for my brother for Xbox One on Christmas, and now I've bought it on PC. In total my house will have spent $226.20 ($60 the first 3 times, $46.20 for PC because of sales) on the same game. I'm not too excited for the initial release since I've already played the whole game on PS3 and played a little on Xbox One, the game isn't going to be that much different on PC. What I am excited for is the modding.
  2. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Discussion & Media. LCPDFR Suggestions is for suggesting new features to be added to LCPDFR mod itself.
  3. Because they don't want to stop developing Euro Truck Sim 2 and if they didn't split the team we would never (ever) see those other games.
  4. Your .wtd is missing most if not all of the textures for the parts you added.
  5. Theoretically I imagine it would be possible, it would just use the same flagging system as the transport vehicles. I know nothing about coding though, so I'd have to leave that answer to someone with experience.
  6. You cannot have police3, 4, b, w, or any other police car in addition to police and police2 spawning in traffic (without the aforementioned script) or in pursuits. LCPDFR spawns whatever police car is in memory assigned to the type of backup you choose, and only police or police2 will be in memory for normal backup.
  7. The error related to the vehicles is for ELS, not LCPDFR. The reason is because you don't have a file named "default_config.ini" in the ELS folder, but you have those vehicles set to use that file in _SLOTCONTROL.ini. The problem with LCPDFR may be resolved by downloading the manual installation and installing that. Replace all files it asks you to replace.
  8. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion and Media. Please read the "Showroom Style Forums" announcement before posting in the showroom forums: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-792/announcement-11-showroom-style-forums/
  9. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion & Media. The Suggestions & Requests forum is only for requesting or suggesting mods that have not yet been created, and is not the place to look for existing mods.
  10. Plenty of people play on the Steam version and they all seem to be fine, so no, you most likely will not get banned.
  11. Download the LCPDFR manual install and copy AdvancedHook.dll to your main GTA IV folder. You copied the AdvancedHook from ELS which is outdated (and has been mentioned literally hundreds of times, half of my posts since the release of 1.0d have been related to this). Also, be a little patient. None of us are sitting around staring at the support section just to help you.
  12. LCPDFR needs DirectX 9.0c, not 11.0c. It won't do any harm installing it, but in the case of DirectX, you generally need the specific version required and not a newer one. The link for the one you need is here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 That isn't your issue, however. Your issue is that there is something going wrong with Visual C++ Redistributable. What I need you to do is this: Open the control panel, then uninstall a program Find "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable" Uninstall both (x64) and (x86) versions Download and install only the x86 version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

  16. To clear yourself from a call (remove the phone with an X), you press Alt-E on the keyboard. There is no control on the controller by default, it is in LCPDFR.ini under [KeybindingsController] though: UpdateCalloutStateModifierKey=None UpdateCalloutState=None
  17. Make sure you are using the ScriptHookDotNet.asi that comes with LCPDFR. Delete ScriptHookDotNet.dll if it exists.
  18. Try deleting AdvancedHookInit.asi, it's the only thing that may cause the game to crash on start with LCPDFR. Note that you will not be able to use the taser if you do this, unless you >install it manually.
  19. There's no point in dancing around the subject, just be straight forward. See what I did there?
  20. We actually ended up getting about a foot of snow in Albany, judging by the accumulation on the air conditioning units outside my window.
  21. Install this, choose x86: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
  22. "Application Version: 1.1.0.0" Download the latest EFLC patch here: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145386-Grand-Theft-Auto-Episodes-from-Liberty-City-Title-Update-1-1-2-0-Patch-2-
  23. Make sure you are only replacing the files called [name]_sign_# (such as police_sign_1) and nothing else. It sounds like you are replacing the emerglights files. Also, MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request.
  24. Try reinstalling with the manual installation.
