  1. Please run the diagnostic tool and upload the log it creates.
  2. We don't provide support for cracked games either. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

  4. You may have them, but not in x86 format. Download this, choose x86: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
  5. Oh god, a topic about racing...hopefully NicolaiB doesn't see it! I've never really enjoyed watching races. It just seems so boring to watch a bunch of cars go around in an oval, with the occasional overtake and rare crash. Maybe if I had a reason to root for someone it would be better.
  6. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion & Media, as it is not an LCPDFR Discussion thread.
  7. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

  9. Card companies didn't create the holiday, they just commercialized it.
  10. MODERATOR NOTICE In the future, please try to form some sort of discussion. Simply posting a video doesn't bring about any type of discussion, at least include some reasoning as to why you are posting it.
  11. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> That is most likely your problem. The best way to fix it is to install ELS first, then LCPDFR using the manual installation. If the above doesn't fix your problem, then please create your own topic.
  12. Try manually installing the mod.
  13. It determines whether LCPDFR will offer you a tutorial or not when you first go on duty.
  14. Same as my plans! Well I'll probably play Evolve with some people but that's unrelated to the holiday.
  15. It would probably be better to post this in the main topic located here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  16. And none of these posts are related to the topic at hand. Considering this is going nowhere but downhill, I think it's time to lock this. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

  18. "Delete local content" only uninstalls the game. The installer doesn't know about the ENB files so it leaves them. You need to go to the directory and actually delete the ENB stuff. The directory should be similar to this: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IV
  19. ENBs add a bunch of files that won't be removed by simply replacing it with a backup or reinstalling. You have to uninstall the game, then delete the entire GTA IV directory, then reinstall.
  20. That's pretty much GTA IV modding in a nutshell.
  21. P is the default control for "definition" in GTA IV, so it is normal for the graphics to change. Press P again to reverse it.

  23. x86 = 32 bit Not sure why the diagnostic tool doesn't work.
  24. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Development Suggestions and Requests. Please read the "Showroom Style Forums" announcement before posting in the showroom forums: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-792/announcement-11-showroom-style-forums/
  25. A lot of the problems with the diagnostic tool were fixed in the latest release, make sure you >download the newest version (LCPDFR 1.0d Hotfix 1). Here's a list of the dependencies: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 Always choose x86 if given the option - even if you have a x64 system. The best log file to upload would be the diagnostic one since it gives us the most information all in one spot, but since that isn't working you can upload any and all files ending in .log in your main GTA IV directory.
