  1. The crash is most likely something that cannot be solved. However, playing on a vanilla install will make the game much more stable (so no car mods). LCPDFR was developed with a vanilla GTA in mind.
  2. Try this: Open the control panel, then uninstall a program Find "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable" Uninstall both (x64) and (x86) versions Download and install only the x86 version from here: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679
  3. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Choose x86

  6. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

  8. I have a feeling it's this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> But run the diagnostic tool and post your log if that doesn't fix it.
  9. Your game runs fine from the looks of the log.
  10. 0x320 has nothing to do with the game, it has to do with the mod connecting to the servers. It does not cause any issues or crashing. You need to press Alt-E after each call to clear yourself (which removes the crossed out phone). It says this in the top left of the screen.
  11. This was your problem: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  12. Run the diagnostic tool and post the log.
  13. I bought it for PS3 when it came out, my mom bought it for my brother for Xbox 360 when it came out, my mom bought it for my brother for Xbox One on Christmas, and now I've bought it on PC. In total my house will have spent $226.20 ($60 the first 3 times, $46.20 for PC because of sales) on the same game. I'm not too excited for the initial release since I've already played the whole game on PS3 and played a little on Xbox One, the game isn't going to be that much different on PC. What I am excited for is the modding.
  14. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Discussion & Media. LCPDFR Suggestions is for suggesting new features to be added to LCPDFR mod itself.
  15. Because they don't want to stop developing Euro Truck Sim 2 and if they didn't split the team we would never (ever) see those other games.
  16. Your .wtd is missing most if not all of the textures for the parts you added.
  17. Theoretically I imagine it would be possible, it would just use the same flagging system as the transport vehicles. I know nothing about coding though, so I'd have to leave that answer to someone with experience.
  18. You cannot have police3, 4, b, w, or any other police car in addition to police and police2 spawning in traffic (without the aforementioned script) or in pursuits. LCPDFR spawns whatever police car is in memory assigned to the type of backup you choose, and only police or police2 will be in memory for normal backup.
  19. The error related to the vehicles is for ELS, not LCPDFR. The reason is because you don't have a file named "default_config.ini" in the ELS folder, but you have those vehicles set to use that file in _SLOTCONTROL.ini. The problem with LCPDFR may be resolved by downloading the manual installation and installing that. Replace all files it asks you to replace.
  20. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion and Media. Please read the "Showroom Style Forums" announcement before posting in the showroom forums: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-792/announcement-11-showroom-style-forums/
  21. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion & Media. The Suggestions & Requests forum is only for requesting or suggesting mods that have not yet been created, and is not the place to look for existing mods.
  22. Plenty of people play on the Steam version and they all seem to be fine, so no, you most likely will not get banned.
  23. Download the LCPDFR manual install and copy AdvancedHook.dll to your main GTA IV folder. You copied the AdvancedHook from ELS which is outdated (and has been mentioned literally hundreds of times, half of my posts since the release of 1.0d have been related to this). Also, be a little patient. None of us are sitting around staring at the support section just to help you.
