  2. The game will always have the out of memory error when closing the game with LCPDFR installed, unless you manually install the taser. It can be ignored.
  3. The only fix for your problems are what I posted above, so something isn't working correctly if you have followed my previous instructions.
  4. All of the keybindings are LCPDFR.ini, located in the LCPDFR folder.
  5. MODERATOR NOTICE Topic cleaned up since I forgot people can't resist responding to previous posts.
  6. MODERATOR NOTICE This is not a debate thread. Do not treat it as one.
  7. Coolest grandpa ever. I don't see myself stopping anytime soon, so I'll probably be playing video games forever.
  8. When you install car mods you are not "modding a mod." The car models have nothing to do with LCPDFR, you are just installing another mod in addition to LCPDFR. LCPDFR is a script mod for GTA IV, and car mods are model mods for GTA IV. The more mods you install, the more likely you are to crash.
  9. LaunchGTAIV.exe doesn't change versions because it is just the launcher, not the game itself. Only GTAIV.exe will show as 1.0.7.0. Also, if you own it on Steam then you don't manually install patches. Steam does it for you. If you just recently installed the game (meaning within the past like 4 years) then you are installing the newest version.
  10. It's very finicky, you need to be in the perfect position then press the button about 3000 times. There's a random chance that you might successfully search the trunk, and if not then try another 3000 times. I don't really know why, but yeah searching trunks can be hard for the LCPD.
  11. You can follow this to manually link your account: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> If the mod works in game, then there is not need to run the diagnostics.
  12. You don't want those .dll's in the game folder, you just need to install what I told you to install. There's another problem in your log that I missed the first time, also install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  13. The crash is most likely something that cannot be solved. However, playing on a vanilla install will make the game much more stable (so no car mods). LCPDFR was developed with a vanilla GTA in mind.
  14. Try this: Open the control panel, then uninstall a program Find "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable" Uninstall both (x64) and (x86) versions Download and install only the x86 version from here: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679
  15. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Choose x86

  18. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

  20. I have a feeling it's this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> But run the diagnostic tool and post your log if that doesn't fix it.
  21. Your game runs fine from the looks of the log.
  22. 0x320 has nothing to do with the game, it has to do with the mod connecting to the servers. It does not cause any issues or crashing. You need to press Alt-E after each call to clear yourself (which removes the crossed out phone). It says this in the top left of the screen.
  23. This was your problem: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  24. Run the diagnostic tool and post the log.
