  1. Install this, choose x86: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Remove "MSVCR110.DLL" from the game folder, it doesn't belong there.
  2. Yes, merge the folders. LCPDFR adds new things to the PC folder, it doesn't replace anything.
  3. There is supposed to be a "LCPDFR" folder, leave that and its contents as is. You only shouldn't have a "LCPD First Response" folder. For some reason the diagnostic tool still isn't finding all of the dependencies...not sure why since they are clearly there.
  4. LCPDFR Online Services are currently down, see this for more info: http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/49645-everything-changes-the-new-lcpdfrcom/
  5. When you installed the mod, everything went into the "LCPD First Response" folder instead of your GTA IV folder. Drag all of it's contents out and into the main GTA IV directory. Sometimes the only solution to the game crashing on startup is to delete advancedhookinit.asi. It isn't a vital file, but it does do some additional patching to the game and automatically "injects" the taser.
  6. That isn't the latest version. It has been updated to 1.1: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/4607-lcpd-first-response/ Make sure you are using the latest version as old versions are not supported.
  7. Here's a tutorial on how to fully uninstall .95: http://www.lcpdfr.com/tutorials/index.action/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-095-r19/
  8. Install these: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 (choose x86) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  9. Make sure the car is in a slot that supports rotators. I forget the entire list, but I know police and police2 work, but noose and fib do not. Basically, the rotators will work in any vehicle slot that has rotators by default, and not LEDs (police and police2 have rotator lightbars, while noose has an LED lightbar).
  10. Technically this isn't true. You don't "buy" the game, you buy a license to use the game. Rockstar still owns the game and can control it however they like.
  11. LCPDFR dynamically decreases the amount of traffic that spawns during pursuits so the roads don't get cluttered with abandoned cars, and so you don't have 999999 cops in pursuit. LCPDFR generally doesn't spawn backup automatically - it takes the cops that the game already spawned and has them join the pursuit. The cops that LCPDFR manually spawns are generally marked with a blue dot on the radar. Because the traffic density is decreased, less cops spawn in traffic, meaning there are less cops to join the pursuit. Like I said, this was implemented to prevent there from being an infinite numbers of cops in pursuit, but has actually resulted in having 0 cops in pursuit.
  12. Moving to GTA IV Discussion & Media since you are not making a suggestion for new LCPDFR features. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  13. LCPDFR support requests belong in this section: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum/20-support-requests/ However, old versions are not supported. Please install the newest version: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/4607-lcpd-first-response/ If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  14. In the vehicle configuration file (VCF) for the ELS-H enabled vehicles. These are in the ELS folder. If you haven't created one, then the vehicle will most likely be using default_config. The user manual has a very in depth explanation of every function in the VCF.
  15. Are you talking about GTA IV or GTA V?
  16. This isn't really a GTA IV Discussion topic, nor is it really a support request, so moving to LCPDFR Discussion. Your thread has been moved to LCPDFR Discussion, as it is not a general GTA IV Discussion thread.
  17. When I was quickly looking through, they seemed to be spread out. I don't remember where exactly, but there were a few different files with componentpeds in them.
  18. I found the generic police texture:
  19. You need to post in English on the forum. As for your problem, you need these, along with the other links they provided: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
  20. Usually some of us manually get rid of them after a period of time. Personally, I'll go through any topics I locked that need to be trashed and get rid of them. You just need to make sure the OP saw the "this was closed because..." post first, otherwise they'll just make another topic.
  21. I'd like to point out that the VRAM bar on top is pretty much completely wrong. With the default settings, mine said it was using 2800 MB, but a program I have says only 800 MB was being used at any one point. Ignoring that maximum shouldn't cause any issues at all.
  22. My point is that by seeing images you're not going to have the entire story spoiled. Most things will just be cool scenes from the game. I mean, you mentioned the screenshot in North Yankton...I don't understand how you couldn't already know the game starts there and it is snowy. It's common knowledge at this point.
  23. Moved to Suggestions & Requests.
  24. Yeah, if you are getting notified when someone posts something it's because you are "following" them. Your old "friends" are now the people you are "following." I stopped following everyone.
  25. Honestly the game as been out for a year and a half...I'd be surprised if it hasn't already been spoiled for you.
