  1. I don't think it's a error that it's looking there. Just make sure you have this installed: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 If you do, try uninstalling the x64 version and only leave the x86 version.
  2. Run the diagnostic after reinstalling them, and make sure you don't have copies of those files in the GTA IV directory.
  3. Download the manual installation and copy AdvancedHook.dll from it to your main GTA IV directory. The one that you have is outdated.
  4. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  5. You shouldn't have to check them, they will be there if you installed them. I think they should be in C:Windowssystem32 though.
  6. Try deleting AdvancedHookInit.asi from your main GTA IV directory. You won't be able to use the taser unless you >manually install it, but it might make the game work.
  7. It would probably be best to set it to "Turn DEP on for essential Windows programs and services only." I don't think it's really necessary to have it on for everything.
  8. Hm. Can you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory?
  9. I think you need to follow this to stop DEP from closing the game: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/65790-dep-turn-off-programs.html A lot of virus protection software do not like LCPDFR and tend to cause issues. I don't think it matters where those .txt files are.
  10. Just follow the installation instructions. They will install where they need to go automatically.
  11. Install these: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679(choose x86) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  12. Install this, choose x86: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Delete the listed .dll files from the game folder. Install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 Delete the listed .dll file from the game folder.
  13. Try installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653
  14. Same error: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  15. Okay, but what happens in game?
  16. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request.
  17. What spinning? You'll have to provide more information.
  18. Without ELS, the default key to activate your siren is G. With LCPDFR 1.0d_2 or higher installed, you can mute the siren by pressing * on the numpad. You can also activate lights-only mode in "stages" by pressing / on the numpad with every version of LCPDFR (well at least since .95 RC2).
  19. Please post the diagnostic log.
  20. Please run "LCPDFR Diagnostic Tool.exe" in the LCPDFR folder, and check your installation. Then post the log it creates.
  21. There are no errors with LCPDFR in that log file. If the game crashed, it most likely was not LCPDFR related.
  22. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests as this is not a suggestion or request for a new mod to be made.
  23. You need to use the AdvancedHook.dll from LCPDFR. DO NOT copy the one from ELS, if you did then you need to get the newest AdvancedHook.dll from the latest LCPDFR manual installation.
  24. Same as this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  25. Install this, choose x86: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
