  1. It sounds like LCPDFR saved in the middle of the game crashing, so it's trying the load the already-crash-prone game. If you delete savegame.fr (and possibly another file with the .fr extension, forget what it's called), then it shouldn't do that.
  2. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request.
  3. You need to press Alt-P to start the mod. Make sure you complete the first mission and save the game first, if you haven't already.
  4. For ELS 7 to 8: The red parts in the v7 file were removed for v8. The yellow part was converted to a new format. Instead of: extra_1_x = extra_1_y = extra_1_z = It is: extra_1 = x, y, z The green parts in the v8 file were added, and do not exist in the v7 file. For ELS 8 to 8.5: I'm not sure where the v8 file is from, since the coronas section did not look like that (for me at least). The only thing that changed is that after each corona are two colors. The first color is the left side (left taillight for example) and the second color is right (right taillight).
  5. Apparently the disc version is 7 discs: Grand Theft Auto V PC is on 7 DVDs apparently. Think it's cool personally cause more disc art — Wario64 (@Wario64) My preload finished a little while ago (I had to stop it overnight, and finished it earlier today). Now I can stare at this screen for 5 days!
  6. They don't mention single player being affected there at least.. As for the editor, I never used the GTA IV one but this actually sounds awesome. I might have to try it out.
  7. Update: halfway there, time hasn't changed much because the download slowed down to 50 kb/s for a while. I think the timer is using an average speed, and that really brought the average down.
  8. The way I actually look at time travel is that it would change nothing. The future is based on the events of the present, so if someone was to travel back in time then the future they came from is dependent on their travelling. Whatever they do in the past will not change the future because their future already accounts for their actions in the past. It makes sense to me...
  9. The logs don't say anything. It's a random GTA IV crash. In order to minimize those, use as few mods as possible.
  10. You can recruit them from the street by aiming and pressing the key defined in your LCPDFR.ini (G by default I think), or leave the police station and re-enter to recruit another the same way you did the first.
  11. GreenManGaming apparently got RGSC codes instead of Steam codes, so I'm going to have this thing open for the next 7 hours: And you can't throttle it so it's using ALL OF THE BANDWIDTH.
  12. If you installed ELS then this is your error: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> ELS comes with an old version of AdvancedHook.dll. The logs are in your main GTA IV directory.
  13. It's the European dating format: 4 April 2015 and 6 April 2015. The newest one will be the best.
  14. Install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  15. Try changing the key to something else in ELS.ini. Edit: Apparently you can't actually change that key (unless I'm missing something in the .ini). If you have a trainer, make sure the keys for it are disabled.
  16. I really don't know. I'm good with things that leave something in the log file, not so much when the game crashes for seemingly no reason.
  17. Please check your installation with the diagnostic tool located in the LCPDFR folder and post the log.
  18. It just means that there is no audio file for that street, it doesn't cause any problems.
  19. Pretty much everything in that manual applies to 1.1 as well, except dependency walker isn't needed anymore. The diagnostic tool's log will show you what dependencies are missing.
  20. Hired that guy on the spot. I switched computers shortly after FCRP ended and unfortunately lost any screenshots I may have had. Just don't ask Sam what he might think my "favorite moment" was, he probably still has all of the server logs.
  21. Uhh, I think you mean LCPDFR will not work with the scripthook provided with ELS?
  22. In general, only "copy and replace" files that are marked as "newer" than the existing files. This way, the order you install really doesn't matter. For example, I would click "don't copy" because the existing file is newer:
  23. The only thing I can recommend is to uninstall the game, delete the directory, and reinstall.
  24. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  25. You can delete the files with a ".fr" extension from your main GTA IV folder, or if you want to completely disable the feature open LCPDFR.ini and set "AutoSaveEnabled=True" to False.
