  1. Or you could just use that script along with LSPDFR...
  2. It's the little things that count...like in San Andreas there were trucking side missions and the train thing if you stole a train. It would have been nice if Rockstar brought those back.
  3. Install these: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 (choose x86) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
  4. Remove the mods and install them one-by-one to make sure each works properly.
  5. Looks like they removed the Missouri part on the female one, but I can't find the file for the male: Edit: Found him:

  7. "Anymore" I don't think Sam has ever slept.
  8. No one's posting about them? Last time I checked, a majority of the debates here have been about the police "murdering" people. The problem isn't that nothing is being done about the acts of the police, it's that nothing is being done about the acts against the police. Will there be riots across the nation, or even in NYC because this man (yes, believe it or not, cops are people too) was shot for no reason? No. Will there be people demanding action be taken against the criminals that keep killing police officers? No. Show some respect.
  9. Sam mentioned that already. It's set up to specifically work only in those circumstances: It's basically a cutscene out in the open, instead of a series of animations.
  10. You probably have a folder called "LCPD First Response." Open it and move all of the files and folders into your main GTA IV directory, where GTAIV.exe is located.
  11. Is your view distance setting (or whatever they may be called in this game) low?
  12. Go to your LCPDFR folder then run "LCPDFR Diagnostic Tool.exe" and click "Check your installation." A log will be created in the LCPDFR folder, post that.

  14. It's a free mod being developed by enthusiasts, not a AAA game developer. Feel free to ignore any previews or statements regarding the development of the mod if you don't think it's good enough.
  15. You need to provide logs, preferably run the diagnostic tool and check your installation, then post the log it creates.
  16. Problems, Feedback & Suggestions is for topics relating to the website. Moved to GTA IV Support Requests. Also, please only create one topic for your issue. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  17. Everyone always seems to forget that LCPDFR had this function and thinks you NEEDED to have ELS for lights-only mode...what makes you think LSPDFR won't have something similar?

  19. It's a legit link if that's what you're wondering. LMS has posted it in the description of his videos: https://youtube.com/user/LMSfootage

  21. Haha, yes very funny. I don't see any reason to leave this open. Please refrain from trolling on the site. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  22. Steam was all like: It really wasn't a good move. They referenced mods becoming great games like "Dota, Counter-strike, DayZ, and Killing Floor," but only a very small minority of mods become as big as those. Plus it isn't monetization that makes that happen (although I guess it would help), it's the things that Sniper said: love of the game, community, and challenge. (excuse the use of a meme, I just had to)

  24. When someone says "your main GTA IV directory," it is the place where your GTAIV.exe is located. This is where ELS.asi, dsound.dll, etc. need to be.
