  1. The game should work fine, it's probably seeing an old error. If it doesn't work, delete any log files in your GTA IV directory and run the game again. Then run the diagnostics again.
  2. Code 2 generally means (and by generally, I mean how it's used in Adam-12 and other police shows) you respond without lights or sirens, following all normal traffic laws. In LSPDFR, that is what it will mean. Code 3 is lights/sirens, but that doesn't mean you have to have the siren on the entire time you're responding. There's no need for a siren on a mile long stretch with no traffic, regardless of how bad the situation you're responding to is. I don't see a need for a "code" to signify "lights, using the siren to clear an intersection." It should be up to the officer to decide when he needs the siren.
  3. LCPDFR requires the 32 bit. It will not run if you only have the 64 bit ones installed. Having both installed shouldn't cause any problems, though.
  4. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) is for MSVCR100.dll (which you do need), but what you are missing is this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Make sure to choose x86.
  5. I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to celebrate the birthday of the Communist Party of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic!
  6. Install this, choose x86: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

  8. Moved to GTA IV Development Tutorials & Questions. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  9. Because you put the effort into your post, I split it out of the topic you originally posted it in. In the future, please create your own topic instead of using someone else's for your own support.
  10. Your thread has been moved to the GTA IV Support Requests forum, as it is not an LCPDFR support request.
  11. So a patch to fix one problem will take longer to get around than the last "update"? Have you read the patch notes for the last update? https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/205705358-GTAV-Title-Update-1-27-Notes-PS4-Xbox-One-PS3-Xbox-360-PC- 4018 words. Edit: Let me specify - 3144 words for FIXES (things generally included in a patch) and 834 words for NEW FEATURES/CONTENT (things included in what you call a "content update"). I also removed headings for this more specific word count, which is why it doesn't add up.
  12. Do the game and mod work? The tool will say there's a log check error even if there's a very minor problem, or an old problem that no longer exists.
  13. I'm not a developer so I couldn't say, but I imagine it shouldn't take too long.
  14. Wasn't referring specifically to you or any other person, just a general observation. One that can be applied to a lot of other "communities" on the internet as well. Perhaps, but like I said above, it's a general observation that can be made about most of the internet.
  15. I love how everyone is so mad that Rockstar is releasing free content. If it was any other company, you would need a season pass or premium or whatever to get this content. I know those of you that don't play online don't give a shit, but these content updates are actually good. Sure, they temporarily break modding, but even games that support modding do that. Everytime Minecraft is updated, the mods need to be updated. Every time Euro Truck Simulator 2 is updated, the mods need to be updated (well not all mods, but the more complicated ones do). The GTA modding community needs to stop being entitled little pricks.

  17. Have you opened the game since you removed the file? Most likely it's fetching old log files.
  18. I don't see why LSPDFR would need to be "held back" until there are car mods...they are two completely different things. LSPDFR is a script, car mods are models. You can play LSPDFR without car mods, and you could have car mods without LSPDFR. Just because you don't want to use the default cars doesn't mean the release of LSPDFR should be held back. Also, LSPDFR adds brand new gameplay to the game. Car mods are only visual, they don't add any new gameplay aspects whatsoever. I don't see why their releases should coincide.
  19. You need to use the CD then, we don't support cracked copies of the game. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  20. The download worked fine for me, but here they are: http://www.mediafire.com/download/62t7wiiqhcpotoi/LCPDFR+1.0+Taser+Data+Files.zip
  21. Install these: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Choose x86 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  22. The modded car probably has a larger file size than the rest of the cars, so the game is avoiding loading it. Traffic Flow will fix that if you put the car on the list of vehicles in the ini. (this is just a guess, I never used Traffic Load so I don't know how it works)
  23. On the topic of the video - that guy is an idiot and Billy is awesome. I want to see more videos of Billy. Edit: Just started from the beginning and noticed there are kids in the back. I REALLY hope they aren't his children.
