lcpdfr does not start with dsound

Featured Replies

When you first install LCPDFR you should have it set to dsound.dll as the main source so that it starts up and runs. I would never use Xliveless because it only helps for certain ENBs. What I would do is just reinstall LCPDFR and there should already be a dsound.dll in the installation. You need to give more detail and not write what happened. You need to write a whole book of what you did to your directory which would help

Yeah, Windows is great… I used it to download Linux.

ok, let me explain further in detail:

I installed with dsound as the main source, i chose the directory as programfiles(86x):steam:steamapps:common:Grand Theft Auto IV:GTAIV

Then when i open the game after install, i press alt+p, nothing happens,

Note: Dsound.dll is in programfiles(86x):steam:steamapps:common:Grand Theft Auto IV:GTAIV:LCPD First Response, it is not in GTAIV directory but in lcpdfr directory.

DSound.dll should be in your main GTA IV directory - that's what's stopping LCPDFR from running when you press ALT+P
