  5. I suppose so. You'll only know what works by trying it. That worked fine for me for GTA IV, but not EFLC. It would load some files from the default directory regardless of which shortcut I ran.
  6. Install these: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 (Pick x86) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
  7. It will work fine as long as you keep the directory you installed the game to the same. So, let's say you originally installed the game to a folder called "GTA V" (which I believe is default). Copy "GTA V" and name it "GTA V 2." When you want to run the second copy of the game, rename "GTA V" to "GTA V 1" and "GTA V 2" to "GTA V". These folders need to be in the same place (so, the directory will end up being the same as when you installed the game for whichever copy you are running). I wrote a batch file for my two versions of EFLC, you could do something similar. The original installation was to "F:\EFLC\EFLC".
  8. Edit startup.rphs with a text editor. Just add whatever you would normally type in the console to that file and it will automatically run when the game starts.
  9. Because they are two different games...
  10. You need to press Alt-P to start the mod...it would help you a lot if you read the documentation.
  11. You need to use a "mods" folder. See: http://openiv.com/?p=1132
  12. I don't understand how this never happened before RagePluginHook. GTA V seems to be one of those games that you can't change audio sources in the middle of playing. That's always been my experience since the game was released.
  13. Yeah, I think one of (if not all) the trainers changes you back to a main character when you die, shouldn't have anything to do with LSPDFR.
  14. There is no template like custom models in GTA IV had. The vehicles use the same textures in multiple places on the vehicle instead of fully texture mapping the entire vehicle. This was the same in GTA IV's default models.
  15. I'm guessing you are talking about LCPDFR on GTA IV. You need to install the programs that have those files, not the files themselves. Delete whatever files you downloaded and install these: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 (Pick x86) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 Your topic has been moved to LCPDFR Support Requests. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  16. You can "install" the mod again. After you replace everything, it will all be highlighted. Then you can cut or delete everything the mod adds without touching the game files in one go.
  17. I never like it when a mod adds its own audio (especially voices), it sounds so out of place. Plus it is usually low quality since it wasn't recorded in a professional recording studio by professional voice actors and edited professionally like all of the other sounds in the game.
  18. Download the latest version of RagePluginHook: http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx
  19. There used to be (and still should be) a police computer in the cars on the PS3 and Xbox 360 version. They had the LCPD textures, though. I'm guessing they removed it for first person, either because they were too lazy to create a new texture, or because it interfered with some other part of the interior.
  20. No, I don't think so, but you can change the key for Simple Native Trainer in its ini.
  21. I don't believe anything in the mod was changed, just what's included in the download. The letter changed because it is a different release and is easier to keep track of.
  22. I don't believe so, and yes, I've noticed that too.
  23. This discussion was already had in the "features" topic, but code 2 will be no lights or sirens. It varies from department to department, but in general this is what it means, and I believe that's how the LAPD uses it. Here's what Wikipedia says: "Semi-life-threatening emergency response. Follow traffic laws, but expedite response."
  24. For controller commands, some show up on screen when you can use them. Ones that don't are Right Stick for backup menu and A to initiate a traffic stop. There might be more that I don't know. A lot of the controls are bound to game controls, so you can go by that as well. For example, the back up menu is the key for pointing in GTA Online (B on keyboard, right stick on controller) and traffic stop is the key for sprint (shift on keyboard, A on controller).
  25. You don't have to type the entire word out - you can just type "Re" then use the arrow keys to select "Repair" (if it isn't already selected) then press Tab to fill in the rest then press enter. Also, you can press the up arrow key to quickly type the last commands you used. I feel like the "and theeeennnnn" person from Dude, Where's My Car.
