Doesn't matter...IV is separate from SA, VC, and III. IV is basically in a different "universe" than those and Rockstar has stated that IV, V, and most likely any other GTA's will not be connected in anyway, except for city names, to the previous games. Think of it like Marvel and Capcom comics.

ELS.ini is in your GTA IV directory. You open it with notepad then find the key bindings sections. In that section there's a spot for the four-ways. If you scroll down, it gives you the number reference for each key. Find the key you want to use for the four-ways and get it's number, then replace the current number in the key bindings section with the new one. I would show you specific lines in the file, but I don't have GTA IV on this computer.

There's buildings, you need Simple Native Trainer. In the download for the map there was a file called "objects.ini," you put that in the GTA IV directory. Then you open the trainer (F3), go to the objects menu and then to "load objects from objects.ini" or whatever it says. It might take a few seconds or even minutes to load all of the objects and it will teleport you to the entrance to Countryside Mountains.

There's plenty on this site too... Just take a look through the downloads. If you're looking for something specific, use the search bar and choose "Downloads" (click on Google Search, then "Downloads"). You can even just type "siren" and see what you find.

Alienware is always overpriced...you can probably get something with the same specs if you build it yourself. However, Alienware is pretty good, so it should be worth the money, but still...

Part of ELS. It basically reloads the whole car, fixing it. Nothing you can do except use non-ELS cars or wait for ELS alternatives, which are currently being made. You can change the Key binding for ELS in ELS.ini, find the one for the four-ways and change it to a key that isn't being used. You should just be able to overwrite the old one.

Looks similar to Rigs of Rods' "Flares" system, if you're familiar with that.

Appears to be but he didn't load the objects from objects.ini through the trainer, resulting in a lack of buildings.

If you only have one ELS car, then change the "Active" part from "1" to "0" in ELS.ini for every car except whatever slot you have the ELS car in (most likely polpatriot for your truck). If you add more ELS enabled cars, make sure to change the respective options in ELS.ini back to Active (1).

I think he's mainly looking for people to test quality. What he might think looks amazing, someone else might think looks really bad. Makes sense since everyone is complaining about the amount of low-quality textures being uploaded.

Not sure about the problem, but instead of turning off your computer, hold down CTRL and ALT then press DEL (or Delete, whatever it is on your keyboard). Then click on "Start Task Manager." It should bring you to the desktop with the task manager open. On the "Applications" tab of the task manager, click on "Grand Theft Auto IV" (or whatever it says for GTA IV). Then click on "End Task."

SMPA 60 is pretty much always caused by modded cars. The problem usually is that there is a missing object in the car's files. It's best to install one car at a time and test it. If it happens without any modded cars or with every single car you install, then I don't know. ELS is also a major contributor to crashing. If you go to ELS.ini in your GTA IV directory (if you do use ELS) and change the option that enables ELS on AI cars (not sure of the exact line, don't have GTA IV on this computer) from "1" to "0" that will reduce crashing immensely, but in return disables ELS on AI cars. That means the AI will not be able to turn the lights on, only sirens. Even if you have non-ELS cars in for the AI slots (mainly police1 and police2), do this.

The last time I tried downloading it, it only downloaded half the mod. It said the file it downloaded was 2 GB, when the snow mod is actually 4 GB. Not sure why.
