  1. has?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> blue flashing reverse lights, not wig-wags though. reverse lights set to the wig wags, but do not alternate. They both blink at the same time. has reverse lights that flash but are not wig-wags. Those are the ones that I currently use with flashing reverse lights, as well as a charger (not wig-wags) that I don't have a link for.
  2. The NYPD are most likely the first people to respond if there is a terrorist attack or a violent riot in the city so I think they deserved to be heavily armed. And NYC is definitely one of the biggest targets for terrorists. Not sure about their traffic side of things, though.
  3. I liked the system on FCRP better. Same thing as liking a Facebook status, except for a post and it shows in your profile. Basically that's what we have here now since the negative rep option is gone, but you can't leave a comment with it.
  4. Just gonna come in here to say Yes. The real life NYSP cars are like that. Red, Blue, Yellow, Red, Red, Blue, Red, Red. They actually have a control that will only turn on the yellow light and one of the blue lights (I'm guessing the passenger side one) according to a post here, although I have never seen that in person. You can see the yellow light flashing clearly here (should link to the correct time). ((Side note: This is actually the area of NY I live in...About 5-10 minutes from where he stops the second person...partially the reason I posted that link))
  5. If they are ELS cars, open up the ELS.ini file in your GTA main directory (if you have ELS installed that is, if not, install it). Check under "[ POLICE ]" and "[ POLICE2 ]" that it says "Active = 1". Then, somewhere on top, check this line: "Ai_ELS_SP = 1". If it is set to "0" then ELS is deactivated for the AI (bots). Setting it to "1" activates it. Note that activating ELS lights on the AI may make the game crash even more that it already does.
  6. Well the nice thing with computers is the upgrade-ablility. You can always upgrade later. There really is no need for the second video card or overclocking for your first computer.
  7. Guys...it's a name...really gotta make a big deal out of it?
  8. Try not to hijack and bump topics. But you have to click "Save and Close" after you replace the file then click "Rebuild" then "Save." Then you can close SparkIV and play the game.
  9. Here's how to install SA:MP with the steam version: http://fcrp.lcpdfr.com/topic/801-using-samp-with-steam-gta-sa/
  10. You probably don't need two video cards...Of course, it's better with two, but I have read some things that say that having two could cause a drop in FPS.
  11. Try downloading this: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient Also by simply Googling "gta iv ws10", you get Rockstar's official support page with multiple solutions: http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/479465-ws10-error-in-gta-iv
  12. The noose cars had what looked like LEDs, but they still flash like halogens.
  13. This is the full configuration. However, I actually got a free upgrade to the Cooler Master HAF912 case because the original case I had was back ordered. There were some extra things in there, like the engraving, that you don't need. I also added some other things like the anti-vibration mounts for the fans just so I could get it up to $999 before shipping for a 5% discount that they had at the time. Here's a screenshot of my auto-configured (except for "Night Shadows" which were originally off) GTA IV: EFLC settings; the game runs at about 30 FPS with ELS cars. May not be the best, but hey, it's GTA. Nice thing about it is that the motherboard can handle up to 32 GB of RAM and there's definitely room to upgrade the video card. In action:
  14. Yeah, they put it together. I'll post the full config later when I can get on my pc
  15. I love what you did with the radio
  16. Modded Forklift: http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=529 Tractors: http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=427 Military (not really construction, but still heavy equipment): http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=535 Some trucks (8 pages, a few dumptrucks and a cement mixer): http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=cat&id=373&start=0&orderBy= Sorry, best I could find.
  17. That PC is definitely good enough. If you want to lower the price some, then you can switch the video card to something lower, but I wouldn't go less than the GTX 650 (since that's what I have and I'm not sure how good the lower cards would be). I'd also like to point out that no monitor is chosen, so if you don't already have one then there's some more to add on, price depending on what you choose. In the Operating System, I would switch to Windows 7 Home Premium for better compatibility with games (and I don't like Windows 8). Also make sure you go for any freebies you can get, free stuff is always nice. I ordered my PC from that site and definitely recommend it. This is what I have:
  18. I have a GTX 650 with 2GB and it works great, the "Ti" version is even better from my understanding. GTA IV auto-configures a medium-high setting, and Skyrim runs on ultra with graphics enhancing mods perfectly fine. Just make sure your PC has all the requirements for it, especially the power supply (which should at least be 400 Watts according to that site, with a 6-pin power connector).
  19. The cars are optimized for any of those models, meaning you can use any of these cars to replace any of those models. There are only 3 cars in the pack.
  20. It's 18 Wheel's of Steel / American Long Haul radio stuff
  21. A siren mod I'll actually use! I like the horn change.
  22. I found that before too...However, there's a file that shows all of the things that those boards show and nothing in them is altered to say that. It's in /common/data/scrollbars.dat. I don't know if altering that file actually makes them say what you changed or not though.
  23. I'm assuming you checked all of the things here? http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/
