  3. Adding police3 or police 4 to the cargrp file will not make them spawn in traffic (if they do, it's because they were loaded into the memory and glitch into traffic, without a driver, and not as police). As stated above, the game reads the file in slots. It will load the vehicles in the slots where police and police2 are by default.
  4. Looks perfect to me.
  5. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me, like LMS, will know more about this:
  6. What are the contents of asilog.txt, AdvancedHook.log, and ScriptHook.log?
  7. The beacon will not work, as simple as that. Everything else does work because it is done by LCPDFR. The beacon is part of GTA IV, not any mod, and there are no files you can edit to change that. If you use an ELS vehicle, then I believe ELS will work on it, so along as you add it to _SLOTCONTROL.ini
  8. That works, but it doesn't simulate a traffic stop that escalates to a felony stop. You wouldn't have the driver's information before approaching the vehicle (registered owner found by the license plate may not be the driver).
  9. From the >LCPDFR 1.0 download page. But no, it doesn't solve that.
  10. It is a part of LCPDFR...Enable ALPR in the police computer.
  11. Only added vehicles called police3, police4, or policeb will have working non-ELS lights in GTA IV. It is hard coded this way, I believe. Those work because they are used in The Ballad of Gay Tony from EFLC. A vehicle called polcomet will not work. The cargrp.dat file is only used to determine what type of ped will spawn in the vehicle.
  12. My comment on that was separate from my reply to you, hence why there is a space between my reply to you and that short paragraph (though I can understand the confusion). I'm not going to bother arguing semantics, especially if you're only going to insult.
  13. I beg to differ.... If you're going to say something you don't mean then don't say it. This man served his country, as well as the rest of his family. Now he's still trying to protect it's citizens by stopping police brutality. You would be ignorant to believe there is no police brutality in the NYPD. I will defend the police when it comes to justified violent actions, but what this man was talking about was unjustified violent actions. Beating people up in a peaceful protest is unjustified. Whether or not that actually happened, I don't know, I never kept up on the occupy Wall Street movement.
  14. Bxbugs123 uses it on >this car, perhaps ask him.
  15. Verify the files of Watch_Dogs and it should be fine.
  16. Not that I agree with invading people's privacy, but it really doesn't bother me. What will they do with my information? As long as they aren't contacting me just to criticize me on what I do on my phone, I really don't care.
  17. It should work for any vehicle, the point of the option is to add your own vehicles. LCPDFR automatically recognizes the default GTA IV and EFLC police vehicles without any modification to the file.
  18. I think people would move over with ELS 8, but don't quote me on that. The lights and sirens will work just like any other ELS vehicle. You should be able to pull people over and use the police computer by opening LCPDFR.ini in the LCPDFR folder and adding POLICEW; after AdditionalCopCarModels. AdditionalCopCarModels=POLICEW;
  19. You probably need a command line. Make a file called commandline.txt and put it in the main GTA IV folder (where GTAIV.exe or EFLC.exe is). In the file, type -nomemrestrict -norestrictions and save. There are others you can use as well, but start simple to see if that will help. More can be found here.
  20. Well, didn't Alexander Blade do a lot of scripting stuff for GTA IV? I'm sure he knows what he's talking about.
  21. It took LCPDFR 4.5 years to have a full release (1.0). Anything before that was alpha/beta. I'm pretty sure they're trying to go for a full release with this mod. Plus that progress page I linked has been updated pretty regularly.
  22. http://ems-mod.com/progress.php In 3%, if you can somehow translate that to a time period, which is impossible.
