  1. Oh, sorry. My entire PC shuts off at once, no BSOD. It just turns off out of nowhere during loading. Then, after it crashes I cannot turn it back on until I've switched off my power supply for a little bit. Apparently, the only memory dumps I can make are Kernal and Small ones, I don't see detailed under the list unless im looking in the wrong place. Either way I think this type of crash wouldn't create one in the first place, at first I thought my PSU had died until I recreated it a second time. I have about 3 or 4 scripts installed, CryENB v3, and a custom vehicle or two. I could try on a vanilla copy but i'd have to re-install. Don't really like my PC crashing though, so I'd like to find out the cause first :P EDIT: I'm going to try vanilla EFLC. I think I'll go without the mods (Besides stuff like trafficflow or lessovertaking, and maybe the ENB if thats not the cause) and see what happens. if i still crash, then I have literally no clue and that would be the first time that ever happened. I got it to run on my laptop a while back, really weird.
  2. So recently I installed EFLC hoping to replay the whole game, its short and it's fun compared to normal IV which is really long. I have some mods and an ENB installed. Upon loading TBOGT, my entire PC crashes. And it wont power back on until I turn off my PSU switch for about 15 seconds. really strange. I've recreated it twice. Windows doesn't seem to make any dumps either. So this is really hard to pinpoint. But why EFLC? I can play heavily modded normal IV fine, literally no issues. But then I launch EFLC and my whole computer crashes. I'm really stumped. I'm not sure if its my hardware or the game itself. If additional info is needed I'll post it.
  3. Yeeeah I've never been good with those things. Like, I know where pretty much every file is because of the countless times I've modded GTA but when it comes to actually editing values inside the ped stuff, It's confusing. I would probably go through the trouble, but in the process break something. If anyone is offering any help with it, Sure. but otherwise I have no idea what I'm doing if I had to edit peds.ide, and change any animations around.
  4. So I looked around before posting and found the solution was to replace M_M_Fatcop_01 with M_Y_Cop in pedgrp.dat, I did this however it didn't solve the issue. While calling in backup, to my surprise the fat-cops still respond. They may be pretty funny but they're also useless in foot pursuits. Like I said, already tried the posted solution but I still have the fat cop responding to stuff. Any alternate solutions? My pedgrp.dat -

  6. Well, is your LCPDFR script crashing, or your entire game? If you are CTD (Crashing to desktop) then this is not the right place. Besides that, It could be a multitude of things if its a game crash. But you give little information, please post your computers specs, and your lcpdfr.log. If the script is crashing then you are probably missing a dependency such as advancedhook/scripthook. Did you use the automatic installer or manual installer? And are you using the newest version of LCPDFR?
  7. I used to have this issue, and I believe the dev's couldn't even figure it out. Seems like it's completely random, but the temporary fix is to alt-tab once you go on duty, just pause the game and tab out, then back in. That seemed to fix it for that session, this may just be me. Other than that I have no idea. I was really stumped, it just started happening out of nowhere.
  8. So in which hopefully not complicated way can I import my own loading music for GTAIV. I found some GTA-V loading screens that work fine, but I'm tired of the boring IV music. I want to use (obviously only the first 30 seconds or so should play, I load fast). Inside loading tune there is "LOAD_SCREEN_MUSIC_SHORT_LEFT" and "LOAD_SCREEN_MUSIC_SHORT_RIGHT" for left and right ear I assume. So say I have a wav or mp3, how do I go about importing that to work with IV. I used to have a working san andreas loading tune, but I can't for the life of me find it. It may seem like a big deal for something that's 15-30 seconds long but I'm tired of IV's theme, lol. Thanks.
  9. Well it's different for me then. For one, calling backup during a pursuit usually has them pass me and go to the location where i called backup, regardless of me going forward towards the pursuit. Then they cant turn around and drop out. Secondly, random backup doesn't spawn. This may just be me but ever since 1.0d i have not seen more than ONE unit spawn and join in on the pursuit (And this is pursuits that I have started myself. Not joining in on others). That configure in the .ini is the MAX amount of cops during a pursuit, which is not what I described. I'm talking about setting a minimum. For example: Minimum AI in pursuit: 3. When a pursuit is started, three units will automatically spawn ahead of the player and join in on the pursuit. This solves my problem of backup passing by me. I believe that's just GTAIV's AI, and it's probably unfixable. And just yesterday, as I spun this guy out with my other unit, as soon as he bailed out of the car I had zero control over him. I had to tase him about 15 times and wait for the cop to come do it himself. I understand this doesn't happen all the time, and in fact it's quite rare. I just thought it would be worth bringing up. TLDR: pursuits feel empty, units almost never spawn without having to call backup 5+ times which is also a crash hazard. however it's still better than 1.0c, due to the fact that theres not 20 units crashing into shit constantly Oh and, the Pursuit menu should have some more features, I'm sure the dev's can think of something cool :). This. Or possibly a random chance for the suspect to bail while driving, or maybe even pull a gun once rammed off the road. The random possibilities could be endless, but as of now they usually just run once they can't move their car anymore, or it blows up.
  10. I noticed a pretty big difference between 1.0c and 1.0d, that being there is no longer 10 or 15 cops in a pursuit. I see this as an improvement, and i love it. However, I think the amount is a bit too little now. Calling for backup usually fails to help me during a pursuit considering they drive past me and lose the red and blue flashing area, making them drop the pursuit. (On a small note, Stolen vehicle or suspect resisting arrest callouts spawn WAY too far away. By time I catch up i've lost visual of the suspect, forcing me to call in a helicopter almost every time unless I teleport closer to him via "teleport wp" in console) For one there should be an option to have a "minimum" so to speak of cops during a pursuit. I feel like its different per user. For me I'd like about between 2-4 cops in a small pursuit, or someone who isnt armed. But once again this brings my second problem, usually backup doesn't stick with me so secondly there should be an official pursuit backup in the Pursuit Tactic menu or the QAM. As in, calling backup through this means would spawn a nearby unit out of your line of sight that would automatically join in on the pursuit, or only focus on the pursuit rather than thinking you just need a unit to drive to your location. If thats even possible that is. This would make it simpler for units to assist during a pursuit in my opinion. Overall there should just be more to the pursuit tactic menu, and this would add something pretty useful. Oh and PLEASE change something around with how AI arrest suspects ;~; 85% of the time if the AI go to arrest them that leaves me unable to do anything to him (Hitting E on him no longer stops him, forcing the AI to arrest him). The reason I don't want this is because what if I want to check this guys license? Or search him first. I'd rather do that in most situations then have the Ai take over for me and do it by themselves, that doesn't necessarily mean get rid of it all together. I like the idea that the AI can handle themselves and go off chasing a suspect without my help, but in some cases it prevents me from doing anything. That is all. Leave your thoughts, I guess. Hopefully Sam or LMS or someone looks at this
  11. I was about to post something about this. I would love to see this as an actual feature in LCPDFR, officially. However I think the devs are aiming towards people using their new API, which some people seem to use but it's not as popular as I thought it would be. I really wish just stock LCPDFR had more callouts because they seem to be done better without any issues opposed to the plugins that need bugfixing now and then. If anyone is interested and has the skills (Maybe this FinKone fella), you should make a script based around serving warrants in various locations and situations. I think that would be really awesome
  12. This seemed to happen, net_connect doesnt work for my other friend joining, so i had him join normally over live. However, that way doesn't seem to work. He can't see any callouts I get and he can't join in on any pursuits. I had the helpbox come up telling me I could show my IP with net_showip but once again net_connect isnt working for the other person to join. Joining normally usually causes issues or crashing within the first 10 minutes, and he can't see any callouts I get. Its like we're running two seperate copies or scripts at the same time. Sorry if this belongs in support but what am I doing wrong? We have the same mods, scripts and everything.
  13. Another update, Awesome it seems like the shoot-out callout still crashes the game =/ Oh and, I plan on playing this with a friend in due time. Do I just host normally through GTAIV and have both of us launch our scripts? Or does LCPDFR have its own way of working through multiplayer? I don't quite understand. Thanks for the update!
  14. I'm having similar issues with Officer down and vehicle fitted with the tracking device callouts. They don't crash, they work fine except that the vehicles don't spawn. For Officer Down, it gives me a description of the vehicle after checking the officers condition, I go to the yellow area it defines but theres two of them, inside eachother. I search around the area and to my surprise, no car matching the description, no blips, nothing. So i just force ended the callout, tried this a couple times now. As for the other one, I think it should be removed alltogether. Too confusing/complex, everytime my signal strength gets stronger it ends up weaker again, and that callout can't be force ended or my scripts crash, so I'll be ignoring that one for now. You should also add more generic things like maybe modify the already included mugging callout, or have an armed store robbery, Currently I'll show up to the suspcious activity one but 99.9% of the time they are on drugs and start stabbing people, too predictable and rarely do I see a suspect with a gun, an actual robbery or maybe even a heist would be amazing. Just my suggestions. Hope to see a new version soon, everything else is great :D. Also, does Shift+Z actually revive people? Cause the times i've used it I only get "This person is stabilized. Call an ambulance", I'd like the feature that 0.95 had where you can actually revive them if they aren't injured enough. I'm never sure why that was removed
  15. -snip- Edit: Wasn't able to call transport in LCPDFR with ELS/Cars AFTER installing an ENB. All the sudden it just stopped working, Uninstalled custom cars and ELS, works fine. Gonna install them one by one. Now it's off and on. I get ingame after installing the car mods, transport works. 15 minutes later, stops working again. I feel like maybe the ENB is eating up my memory? I don't know. Any help would be appreciated, because AI calling in transport or me calling in transport no longer works for periods of time.

  18. Not sure if anyone posted this before but whenever I get "Disregard" (after accepting) I crash because of ELS. I currently have this issue where if ANY els car is deleted/despawned I instantly crash with SMPA60. Therefore, if a scenario spawns but despawns due to bad placement, I crash. Making this mod indeed have a VERY low success rate. The one time I got it to work was pretty well done in my opinion, and I would love to continue trying this but uh..yeah, i had to uninstall it due to this issue that plagues me. And I might sound stubborn but no I will not disable ELS for the AI, I can't stand non ELS cars or those default static lights. EDIT: I noticed a slight bug, when the officer gets out from checking the AI's license, he'll get stuck on something invisible and be knocked back 3 or 4 times. Then he seems to fix himself, just looks silly. I've seemed to lower my crash rate by forcing the callout and waiting about 4 seconds or so, usually if it doesnt disregard on its own before I accept it then I'm good and I won't crash. But it still happens other than that. Maybe have a debug mode or extra option allowing the user to disable the copcar that spawns ELS lights, I'd be fine rolling up with the copcar not having his lights on, Atleast I wouldn't crash :P. and then I wouldn't have to turn off ELS alltogether. Besides that, I've gotten a pretty steady success rate. I love the mod! Continue developing it please :D, I can't wait for new features. you should look into making more actual callouts, something similar to Callouts+ or WoutersCallouts (Before it broke and was abandoned), that would be awesome.
  19. Well obviously that would fix it but the point is I want my AI to have ELS. I'd rather not see police cars not using their lights or having static lightbars, I'm trying to find a fix without having to rid of ELS or AI els.

So quite simply I cannot use any mods such as '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>simply because (And this may not just be me, but I have NO clue how to fix it) whenever there is a car with ELS enabled and flashing, and GTA tries to despawn it. I crash, with none other than SMPA-60. I'm not sure of any way to fix this, but hopefully someone else is. So now whenever a situation is "Code 4" or "disregard", I crash because the car spawned with ELS on got deleted. This happens if I accidentally tow a ELS-enabled police car as well, I crash when the truck goes away. I'd really like to try out this mod, I've gotten about two of the scenario's to work but otherwise I get the "Disregard" and as soon as I do, instant crash.
  21. Really awesome callout mod. Only issue is stuff like gangfights can't be stopped/the AI are unresponsive to LCPDFR. I've had times tazing them 50 times and beating them but they wont stop fighting. I believe I cuffed one and he kept trying to fight, lol. It's been a while since I used it though, look forward to trying it again after re-installing GTA.
  22. I'm in the process of re-installing all of my mods and such, I would love this. Unsupported or not, my FPS was 10x better before the hotfix.
  23. Yeah, the taser hit when ordered. It seems non-partner cops do the same thing sometimes, in terms of an animation loop with their weapon aimed at the suspect. It's not a major deal sometimes, but other times the suspect gets stuck as well to the point where I can't do anything to them. Its rare though. Adding an ini option for the pursuit AI would be awesome, maybe for future plans/hotfixes? Thanks for the reply.

I understand the hotfix for 1.0d fixed some other issues, but if you try to have your partner arrest someone while they are stopped (After htiting E on them once), they will not arrest them. if they are fleeing it works fine, which is fine and doesn't absolutely have to be fixed. Another thing I noticed is the (see video) when partners use the taser. Oh and whats up with pursuits? theres almost no AI support unless I call it in myself, even then they tend to respond to my location and sit there, then drive off. Yes I'm calling in the pursuit, worked fine in 1.0c. Now theres virtually no backup. Here's a video demonstrating.   25. Disable auto-saving in the ini/config exe and delete savegame.fr in your main GTAIV Folder.
