  1. For your first problem, delete savegame.fr in your main GTA Directory. Also turn off autosaving in the LCPDFR.ini or configuration, under General Settings #2 As for your second if I understand correctly, LCPDFR isn't saving your old game data such as cars/scripts. That's steam. Delete your GTAIV folder out of common/Grand theft auto IV, then delete local content in steam and reinstall. It should install a clean fresh copy, sometimes it takes two tries as it happened to me before.
  2. Alt+P Once ingame, then go to the yellow arrow at a nearby police station to go on duty. Alternatively, you can open console using "~" and type forceduty after pressing ALT+P and seeing the welcome message.
  3. As someone else said, FPS drops...I get about 20-30 FPS with LCPDFR enabled, and my normal 60 without it. turning stuff down doesn't seem to help but I guess it's the new features or something. I have yet to see AI Traffic stops though, sounds pretty cool :P. I just hope the partners are fixed soon.

  5. Sorry for bumping but any help at all? I would love to try out a swat patrol, or even a normal one with the partner system. I've been waiting to use it, I've had some issues in 1.0c as well and I'm glad they got updated, just this issue is crashing the scripts...
  6. So far the only major issue that I've come across is the partner system. The QAM menu is broken for me in terms of partner. The ONLY command that works are the regroup/hold commands, and the deploy taser. Arrest at aimed ped doesn't work, gunpoint doesn't do anything. Arresting, in-fact crashes LCPDFR. I've posted the logs, it spams it every 5 seconds or so after and I need to reloadscripts to stop it. I plan on doing swat patrols now that you can have 3 partners, and i would love if I could find out why I'm crashing when using the arrest feature. Thanks.
  7. Sucks that you can't get ID/Frisk cuffed suspects still. I love the new QAM menu though. Ambulances still drive like idiots but thats just GTA, right? :P Also, how do you delete an autosave with LCPDFR? I can't play right now because everytime i launch my game it teleports me to my last saved position with LCPDFR, on duty and I don't want it to. I'm fine with going back on duty from my safehouse, I've even reinstalled LCPDFR... seems to have fixed itself^ Other than that still pretty awesome! I hate to complain but any other feedback Ill post I guess.

  9. I doubt it. 1.0d has already been announced and one of the features revealed in an announcement. To be honest I'm not on the hype train for V, mainly because I hate the games new physics system. Soft body physics were amazing in IV, even the cars don't get dented as much only scratched, not only that but V just doesn't feel like a GTA game to me. I don't know why. Everything is just...too fast paced or something, like when your wanted, the new solid police cars (Which have pretty boring liveries) just ram the shit out of your car over and over again. I'll probably still try whatever comes out on V, but I'm not hyped for it as much as everyone else.
  10. Turns out I had AI Roadblocks off, turned those on and they do make them during pursuits, but i don't think think they have any actual roadblocks just cars with cops stationed. It is randomly spawned I guess, so I'll use it in conjuction with PoliceHelper, Thanks guys.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who tried to use this feature but within the menu there's an option for "Dispatch Roadblock", I see the dispatch in the top right saying to place a roadblock but it never spawns. If it does spawn, Its in the wrong area and I'm left cleaning up the ELS cars myself after a pursuit. For now I use vdH policehelpers roadblocks but they aren't effective at times, too many ELS cars + they automatically shoot at the driver regardless of your lethal force option.' Does placing a waypoint do anything in terms of dispatching it? Anyone get this to work or is it just me? Thanks.

I've suggested this in another suggestion before, There should be a feature to end the pursuit via the QAM Menu, not just for OP's reason but in my case backup tends to endlessly come until the suspect is in custody, even if they are in cuffs. I.E: If your partner arrests someone OR you call for prisoner transport, the pursuit isn't considered over until they're in the police-car. This should happen earlier, like when they are in cuffs. Good idea though, I really hope its implemented.
  13. I think I've suggested this before, It should really be a LCPDFR Feature alongside the Roadblock that's already in. I get the same error and I find policing tools unstable, I always have the script crash when I'm in the menu. Pretty useless.
  14. Thanks LMS. I've since no longer seen the problem in single player, but instead I get "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". As for MP that's fine, thanks for looking into it. So far it's not a major issue for me considering I play with a clan at the moment who's modpack including LCPDFR works fine in MP. As for the singleplayer issue I'm not sure where that came from. Usually happens in pursuits, specifically happened in a 3-way pursuit earlier today but again I'm not sure, nothing too game-breaking right now though as its a rare occurrence. I can't wait for 1.0d, I assume you guys added a ton of new fixes and features. :)

  16. Well, I've recently installed a couple scripts and various mods to play LCPDFR with a friend. I know multiplayer isn't supported, but ever since I've been getting an invalid call to an object that doesn't exist. This only is happening when I press Alt + E to call in pursuits. The pursuit goes on but I can't arrest and the cops just stand there, because LCPDFR has crashed forcing me to reloadscripts. Keep in mind my friend doesn't have this problem and we have the exact same mods installed. I only get it when I join pursuits, and even though GTA is saying the ped or object doesn't exist anymore it clearly does (on screen atleast, I'm not a modder) the suspect stays in the car and drives off, but can't be arrested cause of the crash. Any solutions?

  18. Fixed it...Deleted AdvancedHookInit.asi and that seemed to work. Never had to do that before.
  19. I recently got a new computer and had to re-install all my mods, etc. I'm enjoying playing on better settings with good FPS, LCPDFR is better than ever except: Taser no longer works. I've looked at the manual install guide and replaced the three required files 10 times now, Taser won't come up in game. I've binded it to XButton2 which would be my mouse 5 (I believe), even default T doesn't work. Worked fine on my laptop but now it won't work at all. Is there a pre-requisite i'm missing that's dependent on it maybe? I've installed all the required C++ Redist's again and GFWL but the taser is the only feature currently broken for me. Any help would be appreciated.
  20. I think there should be an ability to breach certain buildings with AI such as NOOSE, I pretty often to noose patrols and the bodyguard aspect of AI is pretty broken. Suspect drops weapon and they still light him up due to I guess GTA's bodyguard system, I doubt its LCPDFR related. Anyways, I'm gonna make this more of a callout idea (If it must move this to a mod suggestion area, rather than LCPDFR suggestions) and I know I'm probably going to get the reponse of "use the API to make it yourself" but I can't rely on that. This is one of many idea's I have for callouts and features, and I have no idea how to code or use the API, developers of callout scripts never update often enough causing broken scripts. So, my idea: A breaching callout/Feature tied into the QAM menu where you go through a series of rooms in certain buildings (ones that can be opened or entered such as an apartment) and clear the rooms, either with officers or NOOSE, and have them controlled almost like the partner with QAM such as move commands, halt or breach/clear (Kind of like SWAT 4 in a sense, without all the extra weaponry). if this were implemented by the official development team I think it would work much better. Maybe expand on the current callouts as well, they get so repetitive. The only working API-implemented callout mod right now is The Wasteland, callouts+ and Wouters cause too many issues currently. If anyone would be willing to make such a callout for a building that would need to breached, i guess a hostage situation that would be awesome. I get tired of the same old callouts, and I really have no idea where to start if I wanted to try and make one. I'll stop spamming threads in suggestions now, Sorry some ideas just pop into my head sometimes, theres so many awesome features I would love to see in 1.0d, or maybe later releases. On a small note, A feature for asking the suspect to drop their weapon would be nice. I mean right now you MUST cuff them if you get them to drop their weapon, just having them drop it would be good (for me at least) in certain situations. Now I don't know if any of these are possible from a technical standpoint but that's up to you guys. Just take it into account
  21. Whereas "Officially" it may not be supported, It works fine with third party mods. Many and most policing clans (Including one I've been in) use many third party mods, policing or not and there is no complications. Crashes usually happen because of excessively modded cars, 90% of the time. No one wants to see a crash but the videos that don't edit them out usually only happen maybe once or twice per video. Singleplayer is obviously the most stable, but multiplayer works fine too, just not officially supported. However I'm not sure about the exact issue in question, I usually can't figure out why it would be crashing from a log. Only thing could be is, like ineseri said is that multiplayer isn't supported and may not be stable. Make sure your all using the same car mods (if any), scripts and etc. as some may not work with each other, as well as LCPDFR version. [ERROR - 11:53:38 PM] [] GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore! This is when either LCPDFR or GTAIV (not an expert on this), tries to call to an object or ped that doesn't exist anymore for whatever reason, this might be a car or a ped. Try not to use ELS in multiplayer if your using car mods, use Non-ELS cars. That's all I can really think of is the above.
  22. If your adding cars manually you should be rebuilding the archive as well. You can do this manually with SparkIV/OpenIV or use a vehicle installer like GTA IV VMI (Vehicle Mod installer)
  23. Hm. strange. The only thing I can think of is deleting the AdvancedHookInit.asi, as its used to make the game load faster but may not work with EFLC (I don't know as I use GTA IV) Try it, it's not a necessary file, as far as I know it should just make the loading time normal. RGSC could be the issue as well but I doubt it. Try not using it on launch (delete paul.dll, and the game should just launch without logging in).
  24. Try turning off PreLoadAllModels in the LCPDFR.ini. Having too many modded cars and/or non-script replacements CAN cause texture loss, so try to keep the car-mods to a minimum.
  25. [ERROR - 10:22:13 PM] [] System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'AdvancedHook.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found. Did you use the auto installer or manual installer with LCPDFR 1.0? you should have Advancedhook.dll in your MAIN GTAIV directory, as well as AdvancedHookInit.asi, it comes when you use the auto installer and is a dependency for LCPDFR and other mods. Take a screenshot of your main GTAIV directory and post it as well.
