  6. First off; when installing LCPDFR, do you get the 4-green lights when the wizard pops up? Second; install LCPDFR as Administrator. Right click the installer and Run as Admin. Third: (Do this first actually)> Make sure GTAIV root folder is not read only. If it is, uncheck the read only box and let it do it's thing for a minute. Then install LCPDFR, running that as Admin. Also, you can run the Diagnostic Tool, located at bottom of download page, and make sure all necessary items are installed properly (checks for proper NetFrame version, Asi Loader, proper GTA version, ect). You can post the output for review if you still have issues. Good luck! DrDetroit
  7. Go to Kanyo's Handling Line thread and copy the Tahoe (or whichever truck) handling line into your handling.dat file located in the game's root common/data folder. Kanyo's Handling: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Good luck. DrDetroit
  8. Good afternoon, evening, morning, where ever you are(Art Bell)! I noticed my crime stats have not moved in a week. How can I check if my game is connecting/logging in when I'm running LCPDFR? Is there a login or connection status menu somewhere in-game to check this? Good day, DrDetroit
  9. Did you run LCPDFR installer as Admin? Did you make sure the games root folder is not read only? If not, reinstall. DrDetroit

  11. Re-install LCPDFR. Run the installer as Administrator by right clicking the installer and Run As Admin. Make sure the root GTAIV folder you are installing LCPDFR to is not set as Read Only. Right click the root game folder and uncheck "Read Only. Do this step first. You should be good to go after that. DrDetroit

  17. Easy for you, not so much for me.
  18. I dig the skin, stealthy, utilitarian look, very nice.
  19. Finally the Troy Police, my home town.
  20. If you are using Steam, use the LaunchGTAIV.exe (or LaunchEFLC.exe) instead of the Steam exe. It runs much smoother and texture loss is small to none. The Steam client must lag the game out, can't think of anything else that would be the cause, but the difference is very noticable. I noticed last night when playing via Steam, first time in a year, that the game was so laggy and texture loss/flashing was terrible, it was almost unplayable, and command lines make it worse. I decided to go back to the LaunchEFLC.exe and it runs at least 10-15fps smoother/better than the GTA.exe and I have no texture loss with a small command line . I was stunned at how laggy it is via Steam. Just a heads up. Can't just be my machine that the LaunchEFLC.exe runs so much better on. DrDetroit
