  1. Download a 100% save game and load it, if your stuck in the middle of a mission and it's messing up LCPDFR game play, DrDetroit
  2. Wow, very nice...and only your third skin! 5/5
  3. Turn off all unnecessary processes and services in task manager. I kill everything not needed (print spool, diagnostics, windows search, IMF service, AVG, all printer/scanner services, disk defrag services...on and on). I pickup at least 10-15fps easy doing that. Also kill all un-needed processes...if you have like 20 processes running, that is too many. DrDetroit
  4. When installing LCPDFR, make sure to run the installer as Administrator (right click the installer, select "Run as Admin"). Also, make sure your GTAIV root game folder is not set to read-only. Right click the folder and deselect read-only....do this first. If you still have issue try downloading the Diagnostic Tool located at the bottom of the download page. Run it and post the output here. You need minimum of about 4gigs of Ram and about a 1gig vid card to run GTAIV, as well as at least a dual core 1.8gig processor. Good luck, DrDetroit
  5. Run the LCPDFR installer as Administrator (right click, "Run as Admin"). Make sure your the root GTAIV folder is not set to read-only. Right click the folder and deselect "Read Only", and do this first. Should solve your problem. DrDetroit
  6. Looks like a lot of bloom/corona. Although my lights look the same during certain time cycles...I like it. Gives the emergency lights a little more umph! DrDetroit
  7. Setup road block with police helper, use cones and barriers, and stop cars for breathalyzer test and ID check if you want. DrDetroit

Delete the save game you currently have and download a new 100% save game file and pop that in your save game folder. Or if you have several save games, like me, just load one of those. DrDetroit
  9. haa haaa...poor bastard. Look at him...lol..standin' in the rain and shit. Good one Forward...where in the hell did you find that! I know several people I could send that to. EDIT: Didn't see it was from Harper. Figures! We got you next year buddy!! DrDetroit
  10. Like the layout a lot, but what color is the skin?
  11. Not bad..not bad...I like the layout, just get rid of comic sans and I'd remove that stripe/strip that runs horizontal along the entire length of the car.
  12. YO! HAPPY BIRTHDAY C13!! DrDetroit
  13. Reinstall LCPDR, this time Run as Admin (right click the installer, select "Run as Admin".). Also, make sure your GTAIV (or EFLC) root folder is not set to Read Only. Uncheck that box and then install LCPDFR. EDIT: BTW: try replacing the modded car to the original and see if you still crash. Id do that before reinstalling LCPDFR. Some modded vehicles can just mess up your game. DrDetroit
  14. Nice works Yard. Very nice. Thanks! DrDetroit
  15. Never have any issues with ELSv7. Of course, I don't mod every police slot with ELS cars either, so to keep issues at bay. Just mod your Nstockade and/or noose with ELSv7 cars. They almost never spawn, which keeps the game from crashing. DrDetroit
  16. Try reinstalling LCPDFR, but run the installer as Admin (right click installer and select "Run as Admin"). Make sure the GTA root folder is not set to Read-Only, if it is, deselect and install LCPDFR (running as Admin). If that don't work, post Diagnostic Tool results. EDIT: BTW; don't install any mods until you run LCPDFR by itself...play it until it crashes or you are satisfied it's installed properly before adding anything. Then, when working properly, install one mod at a time, then test for a while, to make sure mod is not causing issues. DrDetroit
  17. This may be a superfluous point, but make sure you are not running the Steam exe, use the LaunchGTAIV.exe (or LaunchEFLC.exe, whatever the case). That is located in your root game folder, and I can tell you first hand it run better, smoother and without the crashing (as often anyhow). I have noticed big issues with the Steam exe, that I don;t have with the LaunchGTAIV.exe (LaunchEFLC.exe in my case). Good luck, DrDetroit
  18. Run LCPDFR installer as Admin. Right click the installer, select "Run as Admin". Also, make sure root folder for GTAIV (EFLC) is not set to read-only. If it is, uncheck that and then install LCPDFR, running the installer as Administrator. Should work fine after that. Good luck. DrDetroit
  19. Again, make sure you run the installer as Admin...right click the LCPDFR installer and select "Run as Admin". Plus, make sure your GTAIV root folder is not set to Read-Only prior to installing LCPDFR. Uncheck that Read-Only box, then install LCPDFR, running that as Admin. You should be all set after that. If you still have issue after the above, then run the Diagnostic Tool and post the results. DrDetroit
  20. Install LCPDFR as Admin...right click the installer and select "Run as Admin". Also, make sure your root GTAIV folder is not Read-Only. If it is, uncheck that box and let win do it's thing for a minute, then reinstall LCPDFR, running that installer as Admin. Good luck. DrDetroit
  21. If you have the Steam version, right click the exe in your Steam library and select "check integrity", or something like that. It will automatically replace any missing files. A very cool feature of Steam, I may add. DrDetroit
