BxBuggs models are a bit small (CVPI), when driving it you are stuffed into the driver seat. But his cars are the most detailed and very high poly, DSFs aren't as detailed low/mid-poly cars. I use both though to keep my vehicle data size under 50megs (I have modded high-poly bikes and a few real nice high-end car models for the Lambo, Ferrari and Porsche models). DrDetroit

That's a great idea. I've done them all, finished the story and working through to 100% completion. I have plenty of cash now, but putting the Lester mission off till last would have made a lit more sense. OP, once you finish the story and the final heist, you should be set with a minimum of $18M per charcter...should be enough to invest in property and other income creating businesses. One thing that bugs me, all three protagonists can buy the same property that one of the other guys own. For example, I purchase the Tequi-la-la as Mike, but Franklin can still purchase it also. Cool, thanks for the tip. I'm level 7 right now, trying to build up my cash reserves until the funds are release. This info will definitely help me with that, and the $500k will be a good start. Have not had any issues online either, although I'm very early into it. Just starting playing online over the last week (if that), and been enjoying it immensely (to my surprise). Not too many creepers, but they are out there and the death matches and missions are fun...although after my team won a match, one of our own guys opened fire on us and killed 2/3 of us, I was able to take him down before he got me. I was like WTF!! Anyhow, I'm digin' GTAV and taking my time doing my 2nd play through, but this time I'm enjoying everything in-between and not in a hurry to rush every mission and the story line. GTAO is pretty sweet too, regardless of the dopey kids complaining on GTAforums.com. Good day, DrDetroit

A lot of mysogenie going on with the youngsters online. The chicks get messed with constantly, by a bunch of pre-pubescent morons. Anyhow, what doesn't kill ya makes you stronger I guess. The chicks seem to handle it well, and the guys...well, look like buffoons. DrDetroit

The peds are knocked out easily (punch to the head, fender bender, etc), but they come back to consciousness within a few minutes. They will get up and keep slink off injured. DrDetroit

Not sure why that's a problem. I go to Hove Beach specifically for the very reason OP posted; to arrest and kill bad guys (in hardcore mode no less). Stay in Algonquin and hand out speeding tickets and such until you get the hang of things. Much less aggressive peds. DrDetroit

SA in GTAV is what the reference is. I guess I need to spend more time in free roam, as I just finished the main story. Love it though, very well done game in any event. One thing that is really cool is the many more buildings you can enter (and rob!). I truly can't wait for the PC to come out so you guys here can do your thing and mod the hell out of it. I have to say; after playing through the main story line, which was very cool, I'm not too impressed with the map, when compared to IV. Feel free to talk game play, but I'm specifically referring to the map and ambiance therein. IV's map is so detailed, has so many nooks and crannies I probably still have not seen them all, after playing for about 2-years. There is just shit going down all the time all over the place in LC and you never know where you'll find the action or some weird random ped action. The detail and all the things to see in LC is really amazing actually. Been gaming since 1988, and have not seen anything like it. Oblivion comes close as far as world detail level, but even then there are AI issues that kill the immersion. Not with GTAIV. GTAV's map on the other hand, seems lacking in these very areas I describe above. Kind of reminds me of an open world version of Need for Speed or something like that. Good looking facades, but not much else. Not a lot of foot traffic either, and the city itself is fairly straight forward, not much to creep around in. A lot of the map is wilderness and water as well. Very beautiful looking but not much to do there. Anyhow, just my thoughts. I dig the game, but I'll be returning to GTAIV once I'm done with RDR, which, by the way, is an unbelievable game! Just awesome, too bad it didn't hit the PC. Good day, DrDetroit

All the clothing stores carry different items, which depends on the location of the store. Ex; you will not find a suit and tie within 50-miles of North Shores area (Sandy Shores? Can't remember) that store has hunting/fishing/camping.hick type wear. While south LA (LS -Compton Area) has the gansta clothing and Beverly Hills has the high end goods. It's a very nice touch. With that said, I still have not been able to locate ties. DrDetroit

The handling will hopefully have a bit more 'personality' too, like GTAIV. I dig the handling in GTAV, it's fun and all, but not much difference between cars and they do stick to the road like glue...a bit too much, but it's a lot of fun. At least we can alter the handlingdat files with the PC version, as well as mod the hell out of the game. Can't wait! DrDetroit

Anybody know if it's possible to have the camera not auto-revert to behind the car? I like it the GTAIV handles the camera with slew and stay type operation. DrDetroit

I don't get the 'unrealistic' part of your question. In real life, If you get shot multiple times, I think you would be soaked in blood. You may not like it in-game but that is the realistic cause/effect. DrDetroit

Roads are not all the same size here in the US. Only Federally funded highways/expressways are the same size. Federal highway roads are following federal regs regarding size, lane width ect. State roads follow state and local regulations, not federal regulations. The fed has no authority over state or municipal roads, what-so-ever, other than federal highways (refer to Article-I, section-8, clause-3 of the US Constitution, which is the section the fed uses and refers to, in order to regulate federal USDOT roads only). However, states may accept federal mandates, but the only reason they would do this when the fed gives grants (i.e: I'll give you money but you need to do this thing or follow this rule).
