You need to bring it down, the only person here who needs to stop, think and calm down is you, you are giving advice which at the best of times are not recommended at all, reinstalling windows because a game won't launch makes no sense whatsoever, it may work for you but it could very well lead to someone losing valuable data. Do not give support if you can't give good support.

That looks more like coronas than the extra modules used in ELS, Sam's working on a similar mod which looks very promising.

A word of advice, YouTube are notorious for being hard with punishments, gaming videos are essentially a grey area, game companies hold power to shut down channels that have used footage from their games, they do not have to present proof to YouTube itself, you're at the mercy of the company who created the game once a video is flagged in the Content ID system, YouTube operates by a "three strikes" policy and it will be very hard to get a partnership with with YouTube or though partnership networks. Your channel is shut down if you get three strikes, you can still access the backend, but all your videos will be gone and your channel inaccessible, this can happen as a result of the company flagging three videos for copyright infringement and issuing you with a strike for each, this can happen from one moment to the next, you will most likely be required to hire a solicitor and take the company to court if you wish to regain access to your channel.

I have been contacted by several "networks" offering me a "partnership" with them, I investigate each message, all of which were sent from channels that were trying to appear as either the official channel or as a subchannel for the network. I have recieved two from "TGN", here's both messages in full: I received that yesterday. I checked with their "TGN recruiters page" both are not on that list. I also received one from Zoomin.tv: Zoomin.TV doesn't even apprear to be a gaming network or anything of the sort, it's a Dutch video sharing site. Real networks will keep a record of anyone who they contact with offers, it will always be possible to verify this by contacting the real network. There's two types of "fake" networks, the type as shown in the TGN messages where they appear as being from a large network, and the ones like zoomin.tv where they attempt to trick you into believing them. Some of these are are credible than other, the first TGN message had a gmail address listed as well as a very strange Skype name, the second TGN message had the name he used as a skype name and his first name followed by @tgn.tv. Their objective is to take money from you, they want a cut of your adense money, they will usually entice you by saying that you will get MORE than you would via adsense, this is simply not true, big networks such as machinima and the real TGN.tv will take a cut of your adense money, meaning you will make less than by partnering directly with YouTube, however the networks will grant you monetization licenses for all games out there. Why would they send you an invitation, but still require you to fill out a normal application? Don't trust anything that aren't sent from the official channels, and always attempt to verify their story before replying back. You can always apply on one of the official websites or by partnering with YouTube directly.

I have looked though our logs, howerver I have been unable to find anything on bucky16 in terms of user merging, deletion, banning, I can't find anything on it. You're welcome to send me a PM if you have any further information, it sounds very strange.

It's easy to hate on DayZ, however I also know people who bought ARMA2 for DayZ, who later discovered the tactical shooter aspect of the game. Arma3 would also have a substantially smaller budget had it not been for DayZ. I do think it's good for both the tactical shooter players and the DayZ players that DayZ will get a stand-alone game, the mod has a lot of bugs as far as what I've heard. I also think that DayZ helped build the massive ARMA2 community, the popularity of the mod also increased the awareness of ARMA2. I do not think that DayZ brought in anything that wouldn't have happened had ARMA2 generated the same level of interest as DayZ did.

DayZ is a ARMA2 mod and soon-to-be standalone game, it will most likely not be converted to ARMA3, however there's bound to be more zombie mods.

The thread was closed, then removed from public view as a large number of users started to suspect that something was not right, this resulted in some backlash that we had to stop from happening, RMC was told that he could contact us as soon as he had any further updates and we'd reopen the thread. It was shortly after this that one of our moderators voiced their own suspicion about the subject and we looked into it and discovered that it was indeed the same person that previously had lied about developing a FDLC mod similar to LCPDFR. We have to stay stop at some point, we can't allow our members to lie or cheat, we welcome people who contributes to the community in a positive way, either by engaging in conversation and by submitting mods to our database, the user in question has done the exact two times, as well as other infractions that aren't relevant here. We're not going to witch hunt him, we won't tolerate abusive behaviour towards anyone on here, that's against the community guidelines, anyone who breeches those will be dealt with, regardless of who is being talked about. I can't see how this is anything different than a police force announcing that they caught a prolific criminal in their area, Sam's post serves as a back story as to why one of the most anticipated mods on the site all of a sudden disappeared, it's better to put our cards on the table and explain the situation as it is. It's far from the only issue we have, this announcement isn't just to address the situation with the user above, we've seen an increase in account policy violations, abusive behaviour and attempts to make our (moderators) work harder, I received death threats last night as a result of intervening with a situation, keep in mind that there's far more going on away from public view.

Keep in mind that we'll not sanction you if you contact us and ask us to merge your accounts, this won't be the case if we discover your accounts, then they will be merged and sanctioned, it's better to come to us than waiting for us to come to you. As Sam said, we won't tolerate abuse and harassment towards us and other members, report it to us straight away if you see it or you happen to be on the receiving end and we will deal with it, don't respond to it. A small percentage of our users will go a long way to get attention and popularity on here, RMC being a prime example. It WILL come back to haunt you if you do so, consider this if you even as much as think about doing so.
