  1. It's not a joke, the post was made after midnight BST, it would be a pretty poor april fools day joke anyway, a good april fools joke would be something along the sort of LCPDFR being ported into Saints Row Third, now with dildo batons! Sam's post is no joke though, shit's awesome, yo!
  2. I did a few videos on the game, I might do a unmanned mission to the mun in my next video. You have to do a constant burn until you leave the atmosphere, then you'll have to change your trajectory before you hit the apoapsis, you might have to do a full burn
  3. It's complicated, but not too complicated, it's a lot of fun with hours of immersion.
  4. There's several MP updates to it, the latest changelog fixes a issue with MP, I am yet to test it in MP though.
  5. That is when we will close threads, I said that we'll close threads when they violate community guidelines, your thread does not violate community guidelines. It appears to me that you are upset that people didn't take kindly to you virtually asking people to do work for you, people responded in a way you did not like so you wanted us to close the thread, we are not going to do so. We're not going to close threads because of that, everything that's happened here other than you taking the thread widely off-topic is within the community guidelines, there's no wrongdoing. I'm done arguing, any further talks about this will result in posts being hidden as they violate our community guidelines in the section of general etiquette and spamming as they are irrelevant to the discussion at and, end of story.
  6. They are internal, i.E for the community team and not for our users.
  7. We recently changed our internal policy regarding this. We're not going to moderate the actual conversation that takes place on here, it's not up to us to do that, we're here to enforce the community guidelines and encourage proper etiquette on here as well as take part in shaping the community and site in general.
  8. I see no reason to close this thread, there's a discussion going on, there's no community guideline violations.
  9. I did some vigilante missions on my Xbox, but got bored of that, so I hit up YouTube and searched for "gta iv police mod", found both PPM and LCPDFR, this was in 2010 by the way. I initially found PPM to be more "exciting" in the videos so I started with that, but I quickly realised that it just weren't that good, the controls and GUI made no sense, I finally managed to respond to a call, I arrived and were blown to pieces by several RPG's and assault rifles. I uninstalled PPM and installed LCPDFR, the rest as they say, is history. I started my videos not long after, they did okay, nothing impressive. Then come early 2011 and I decided to do a video with commentary on it, I didn't really intend on making it a "thing", the feedback was good so I kept on doing it, it took me a while to get comfortable with it, then I received access to the tester builds which was right around when I really started to gain subscribers. That's the story of how I got started with LCPDFR, I did like most of you guys did and looked it up on Youtube, It just so happened that nobody really did much in terms of LCPDFR videos so I decided to try it out and it worked well.
  10. It could be set up that way by the individual car modder if he so desires (it would have to be set as extra 8 and 9 though, they can only work in wig/wags) It's due to how ELS works in terms of extra objects, it's not possible to toggle a part of a object.
  11. The "god mode" is not fixable, all of the brightest script modders has tried to fix this but it is not possible. AS far as AI goes, I'm not 100% certain how their patterns are chosen right now due to all the changes, I'll try and follow up on it, however AI car no longer spawn with random lights on in the latest version(not used due to bugs)
  12. I have not experienced a single ELS crash, it is as stable as running default cars and no ELS.
  13. I'm more than pleased to break the news that Lieutenant Caine's ELS mod will make a fantastic comback with a new release soon, Caine has been hard at work at improving stability and add a bunch of nice features to the mod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4FmtFu2o78 Keep your eyes peeled on my channel for more ELS v7 videos, I'll be sure to go in-depth with the changes. I'd like to thank Caine for giving me this opportunity to help improve the mod as well as being given the honour of announcing version 7 to all of you, I've seen the mod change into something version 6 can only dream of, he's a super guy. It will be released here on LCPDFR.com and select other modding sites soon. 15/04 UPDATE!!!

  15. We have an average registration rate between 150-200 a day, that's 200 new people every single day. It's incredible that the community is as strong and large as it is. I'm seeing a lot of fantastic content on the site, we have a lot of good modders and a strong community, the Community Team and Community Management puts in many hours of work on it every week, some of us always have a tab open on the site when we're at a computer. Our reward is having a thriving community, we don't get paid, the small amount of ad revenue generated goes to covering server costs, we're here because we want to be here, not because we have to. We can only do so much, we can't run the community, the main contributes to the site are you lot, we can build the foundation and you guys will build the rest of the house for us, it's incredible.
  16. He does not have to credit the creators of the vehicles as he did not submit the file with the models included.
  17. They also do not have the steady-burns that are required by California law. The production company only have a very small amount of cars, you'll notice a lot of repeat plates on the cars used (Coopers 999999e1 is also driven by Ben and Sammy) I dug up some photos from a flickr contact taken in LA: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26423305@N00/6746127273/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/26423305@N00/6610126431 http://www.flickr.com/photos/26423305@N00/6610124063 http://www.flickr.com/photos/26423305@N00/6610123469/ Here's also a video of Michael and Lucy during filming for an episode last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHLhe3FOZG4 EDIT: Oh, and another inaccuracy about the cars, they have the newer caps on older crown vics, the newer vics doesn't have the chrome finish running along the bottom of the bootlid.
  18. The cars aren't equipped with a siren, they don't use them if they are. The sirens aren't real, they are added in editing. The show has a few inaccuracies when it comes to the cars,, I have only noticed one CVPI with the right lightbar(FederalSignal Arjent) (last weeks episode, parked in the police car park), they also have 2011 Chargers, the LAPD does not have any marked 2011 Chargers. The cars are also missing wig/wags afaik, I also have not noticed a warning equipment control pad anywhere inside the cars. End of Watch on the other hand had everything as accurate as they could get, they used the correct lightbars and the correct sirens on the vehicles. Major plus in my book.
  19. It just felt.... forced to me, especially his delivery of the lines really stood out compared to what we're used to seeing.
  20. Well cooper did pass down Vicodin. They are certainly hinting a lot of stuff so far. Dewey has always been a likeable arsehole, he's the sort of bloke you'd want down at the pub, he can be quite crap as a cop, I expected a different story to come from the pursuit, I thought he'd beat up the perp, the perp would claim abuse, they'd dig up the radio transmission that day and hey presto, Dewey is gone. Southland is one of the few shows that manages to keep it "real", sure they overdo the excitement of the job, but the details are spot on. They really shouldn't hire child actors though, that bag scene was cringe-worthy.
  21. I really feel like they're progressing the story a lot in this season, they're setting up a major story development in the later stages of the season, it'll be interesting to see what happens to Cooper, I feel that there's a lot of hints towards some change with him. I also think that they're pushing Sammy's character, it's almost as if they want him to crack and burn with the custody battle and the related issues, Sherman does seem to be more at peace with being a cop than in previous seasons.. It's hard to say that it's the best hour of television, it's actually pretty hard for me to identify one TV episode as being the "best ever", it depends on the genre and the actual tv series as a whole. I don't think anything can beat the end of FRIENDS, that really was the end of a tv era.

I have merged your three threads into this one, please refrain from making separate threads for each video in the future, instead update this thread.
  24. We do not provide any support for users who have LCPDFR installed or who are trying to install LCPDFR, uninstall LCPDFR and try again, we cannot assist you with LCPDFR related support until the next public release of LCPDFR. You may be able to find the solution by looking though the LCPDFR Support section or the knowledgebase. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by G17 Media staff.
