It sounds like the model creator didn't create distance models for the extra modules, only the model creator or someone with access to the unlocked model file can fix that.

It doesn't make any financial sense for rockstar to develop their own LCPDFR for GTA V as it won't make any noticeable increase in sales, not that Rockstar has to make any sort of effort in doing so.

I had high hopes for it, I really thought it looked good, then I saw a video of the tutorial. It looks far too restrictive, more like a first world Tropico game. I know all the simulation and complexity is there, it just looks.... Not Sim city'ish. I'd love to see a multiplayer Sim City, the idea itself is amazing, work together with friends to create a magnificent region, but they have executed it the wrong way, it's such a shame, as Sam said, Origin-only combined with the always online and my initial impressions are enough, not even mentioning the £45 price tag, with day one DLC in form of new city styles. I love the Sim City series, but it seems that "evil EA" has once again done wrong, I guess that's what happens when you hire a business oriented person to run a gaming company, they sacrifice too much for the sake of more money. You can usually find the templates included when you download a car mod, try downloading a car you'd like to create a skin for and use the template supplied with it.

First of all. OpenIV is necessary for car modders. SparkIV can only replace textures whereas OpenIV can add and remove textures within the file. To the issue at hand: I had a similar problem on my old Anti-Virus, I had to whitelist OpenIV in the firewall before I could install and use OpenIV. Check that your firewall isn't blocking OpenIV from updating and whitelist OpenIV if it is.
