I've always liked the look of the LAPD Caprice in the late 90's.

I am learning more about how visuals work and what file gets changed. So I am a bit unfamiliar with what needs updating and what doesn't. In the update versions of BEL 1.6 is says mostly bugs that got fixed on the different versions that came out. Were those bugs because of 0.4 or does it have nothing to do with 0.4? I don't know. From what I see when you install these types of visual mods they go into the visualsettings I guess. The different visual mods I think is where the developer has changed the visiualsettings to their personal liking. So If i'm right about all that then I'm learning it, lol. Not sure yet but I may try BEL 1.6. I look for good reviews to. I've used Rad V on 3.0 but thinking of something different.

I don't know! BEL 1.6 says it was submitted Feb 22,2018 and updated May 1 this year. So I wasn't sure about RadV.

So you Downloaded the mod(s) and they are in a zip folder? First they will be in a zip folder or .rar file. Windows can open zip folders but I think if the files are big windows can't unzip the whole file. I had that problem. Windows can't extract .rar files and some mods come as an .rar file type. I personally installed 7-Zip. It is free and you will need it to extract the .rar files so you can install them in game. 7-Zip also extracts (unzips) the zip folders so i just use this program to extract zip and .rar folders. Once unzipped, it will produce a folder that you can open and install the files. Read the read me that is in the folder to know where the files go.

There is a pack that replaces all the default emergency vehicles to ELS. Same vehicles they are just now ELS. I don't think that is what your looking for. So you want the LSPD and Sheriff vehicles to have a similar look? There might be a mod pack that replaces the Police and Sheriff slots with the same look but I think you would still have to install them separately . So I'm not sure.

I was wondering what you all are using for improving police lights. Popular one was RadianceV but it hasn't been updated though I think it still works. I see one called Better Emergency Lights that is updated most recently. Is that the same a RadV? Better Emergency Lights, not to be confused with a new one I saw just now called Better Emergency Lighting which was just submitted a few hours ago. I'm looking for one that fixes the ELS low light problem and has nice looking lighting off the surroundings when the emergency lights are on. So just wondering what everyone is using.

Reply Test Just tried typing a paragraphs worth of text. Wouldn't go. Looks like only short responses are going through.

When I click in the message box to reply to a post the page goes blank. I click back and it goes back to the post. Then I click in the message box type my message and it post it and it goes blank again. Click back and it goes to the post without my reply, in fact the message box is blank so my post isn't getting posted. I noticed in the windows tab when i click to go to another page it says Gateway then LCPDFR.com. Never saw that before. I've noticed that for a bit over a week now. Also the site seems to load a bit slower when going from one page to another. So not sure what is going on. I just thought right now to log out then back in, maybe that will fix it. I'll post this anyway if someone has something to add.

If I remember I think that is an anti virus problem. You might disable your antivirus. Maybe an update on your antivirus in the last 2 weeks is now causing it. I had a certain antivirus that would delete Rage after I tried to run.

When I press B while in pursuit I think it shows the Pursuit selections automatically because you're in pursuit but you have to down arrow to select local backup. Or if you want Air then you scroll down further. Yeah, that's a pain when you are trying to drive. I think when I had Custom Backup when I pressed B the first "Local" would be selected so I would just press B and Enter real quick or if I needed more back up then pressed enter 2,3 or 4 times while Local is selected. It's a pain and not sure if anything can be done about it.

If you still have a problem then install the additional; A Good Game Config A Heap Adjuster A Packlife Limit Adjuster For the last one I think that is what it's called. I install 4.1 and had problems with crashing during citation or arrest write ups. So if you still have problems then install the 3 listed. That fixed the crashing for me. Once it a while it still crashes but usually because there is just too much going on at once.

One issue I noticed was in 3.0 the last Character I used was Michael and I did a quick save in front of the Police Station to make it convenient when I load LSPDFR. I used to use Trevor as the last character but when I would drive by the Lost garage, across the street from the Taxi Company, the Lost would start shooting at me. Even though I was On Duty, in my patrol car, in Uniform (through EUP), Custom character (also through EUP) the Lost would shot because the game last saw the character as Trevor. And there are about 10 of the Lost so I get lit up real quick. Anyway I did notice when 4.0 got installed when i would go off duty it would revert back to my last Character which was Michael and he had no weapons. So all the weapons and ammo i collected was taken. I started GTAV without going through Rage and still left Michael with no weapons. So I had to go through Simple Trainer and just pick and choose what weapons to get and save those weapons in the save slot of Trainer. So it stinks to have to do that. So when I go off duty and the character leaves the station as your last GTA character, all your weapons are gone.

I had that problem but it seemed to be fixed when I installed 4.1. But it crashes in other areas now. I think Computer+ needs some more rework by the Author. On the Computer+ DL page Author recommends to install latest version of Rage, LSPDFR and Computer+. Still have problems then install a good game config, heap limit adjuster and a packfile limit adjuster. I have all those and it still randomly crashes but it is not crashing at the vehicle and ped data lookup like it used to.

Do you have Window Mode checked in Rage Settings?

Since 0.4 came out and a lot of older mods not updated I notice less dispatch audio. Some came from callout mods like Albo's Assorted but I don't have that installed because there were a couple callouts that crashed the Rage or 0.4. Albo's Arrest Manager has audio files but with UB and STP i don't need that mod anymore either. There was Better Dispatch Audio but I don't know if it is compatible with 0.4. I think in BDA it had a Kifflom correction file when asking for ID which is cool but I would like the additional dispatch audio too. I don't mean audio chatter. Like when I would call for backup there would be a lot of response audio. I had Custom Backup but I don't remember if that had audio files. I just wanted to know if there is additional dispatch audio mods that I missed somewhere.

Never seen that before, that's neat! Is that a mod because I've never had that happen in a traffic stop.

I don't need a paycheck. I'm happy to shoot these low life criminals for free. 😁

That's odd. Mine works on 1.5.4.0 and I think I'm an update behind. I think 0.4 has that feature when you call LSFD Ambulance. Not certain though but if it does there is no true/false option there. There isn't a parameter where your health has to be below a certain percentage like I think Better EMS has that option. Not sure what is going on with yours.
