Yeah that would be a nice improvement for a tow to flip the vehicle back over. Would like to see the tow pull in front or behind the vehicle then hook it instead of it just spawning to the tow truck a lane of 2 away. Also, when the driver is unresponsive you open the door and throw him/her out like you're jackin' the car. Would be nice to see see if that can be made to do more gently.

Well, if you have stg 3 lights with siren on or off the AI will pull over. Realistically, if you see an emergency vehicle with lights on behind you when you are driving, you pullover, weather they have their siren on or not. Sometimes police will respond to a call with lights only because they don't want to spook the suspect and then things might go bad. If you are trying to do a traffic stop and turn on your stg 3 light with no siren the suspect will pullover but usually just enough to let you go by, they won't pull over to the side of the road. Even if you get the suspect to pullover all the way, I think once you get out of the vehicle the suspect may drive off because the game doesn't see that you are doing a traffic stop, because you didn't Shift,(blip) the suspect first. Also if you can walk up to the suspect without them driving off you won't get the traffic options questions. So for the game to see that you want to do a traffic stop you have to Shift then stg 3. Then the suspect will pull all the way over and then you can walk up and have the traffic stop options.

Common problem after installing EUP. Install EUP Configuration and it will fix all that.

I had that exact same thing happen and a computer restart fixed it, like Jet said. Don't know why that happened but it did.

I have the x64e in my mods folder and it works fine but I don't use a K9 mod. Like Bastion said it is probably the K9 mod.

Go to your main GTAV folder, scroll down the the ELS Settings file, open it and change (ElsTrafCtrlOn = false) to false. Yours probably says true. Save and Close and Try it.

First, don't offer money here, that is against this sites policy from what I understand. I have this and after installing I thought i was confusing too. There is a youtube video that shows how to install and get it running but guy talking is not very good at explaining it, but you can see what he does. I suggest watching it........a few times lol. It is ready to use right after install but if you have addon's you will have to add those into the XML files. Let me see if I can help out a little bit though. Most of the changes in the XML files are in the main root game folder/ lspdfr/ data folder. In the customs folder go to the agency you want to add your vehicles in. Let's say LSPD xml. Open the XML and where it says vehicles, that is where you would add your addon vehicles. You should see the other replacement vehicles (police, police2, police3). Under the last vehicle press enter and add <Vehicle chance="whatever chance number, all must add to 100">your vehicle name</Vehicle> Don't make any changes to the outfits in the customs folder. I mean you could, but it is a pain. I won't explain it here, just get your vehicles in. Go Back to the data folder and select Agency. Add your vehicles the same way. In the XML you'll add all your addon vehicles to all Agencies. Scroll down the file, you'll see. Then go to the Duty selection XML and open that. Down toward the bottom under Vehicle Descriptions is where you will add new lines for your addon vehicles. This XML is if you want your addons to show up in the Police Garage selection. If you want certain agencies (vehicles) to spawn at certain police stations then go to the Stations XML and find and change the police stations agency and script name. Example the Paleto Bay is a sheriff station but I changed it to a SAHP station so my SAHP units spawn there. Here is a sample of how the lines look. <Name>Paleto Bay Sheriff Station</Name> <Agency>sahp</Agency> <ScriptName>sahp</ScriptName> That is all the changes you would need to make. Try to study the way the lines are laid out in the XML files and you should be able to figure it out.

With this new game launcher I have a hard time figuring out if it is a minor or major update. I would like to know so i can block the update if it seem so to be a big one, meaning everything else might have to be updated. At least with the old launcher you could see a size of the download. So when the launcher is updating, does it only update GTAV or does it sometime update only the launcher and not GTAV?

I thought I was late in the game when I discovered it in February 2018. We can definitely use you. A lot of us still like to play the game while others have moved on.

Yeah I had a few problems with Traffic Policer but disabled a lot of it in the ini. For me, luckily the mimic and follow still work. I also have the auto door lock still enabled. All the ambient events I've disabled because of glitches in a lot of them. The person who could probably fix all that is Albo himself but he's not updating his mods anymore, so he made it open source so others can update it. Problem is that the ones updated it probably don't know how to fix all the problems. With the Breathalyzer, Patdown and Drug Tests those can be done through Stop the Ped and Interaction+. Stop the Ped requires Traffic Policer but you would use more of the STP functions than TP.

With mods like this that require you to use a legit copy of GTAV, in a way, it's helping them market the game. There are plenty of posts on here where the OP said they bought GTAV just to play LSPDFR. So you have to buy GTAV anyway. More money in Take2's pocket.

Oh ok, lights are back on now. I didn't do anything else to the mods folder. I shut down my computer every night but I didn't jump back in game to try it since until now. I guess a restart fixed. Usually things aren't that easy to fix lol. Thanks Red.

Yes, the siren does go on through ELS. I did reinstall RadianceV and that didn't fix it. I removed the mods folder and the lights went back on. Of course the add on vehicles were removed but the replaced vehicles still showed (police, police2&3, sheriff, ect) and the lights went back on. I thought maybe its a visuals file but reinstalling RadV didn't fix it. I'll wait another day and see if I can think of anything else and see what you all think. Then I'll just have to redo the mods folder.

I haven't played LSPDFR in about a month and when I loaded it there was a GTAV launcher update I guess. For some reason my lights on any police vehicle doesn't show when I turn them on. I have ELS. They were all working for before and I haven't loaded or changed anything. Tried Reinstalling LSPDFR and ELS and that didn't work. Lights don't work on lightbar or slick top. I noticed that if I don't play it for a while something glitches. Wondering if you all might have any ideas on it. If not then I may just have to reinstall GTAV.

I'm guessing it might be being caught in the heat of the moment. Of course at some point you should probably be like "Wait a minute, somethings not right here". When you get pulled and you know you did something wrong, you're thinking I'm busted, how am I going to pay for this, what's going to happen, you might not notice that there are 2 reds blinking and that's not LEO or what position the lightbar is at in the vehicle if it's legal or not, I don't think most civilians will know. Like you said, lack of uniform, duty belt should be a give away. And as young as he looked! But when my cousin graduated the CHP academy in 2008 I think he was 26-27 y.o., looked early 20's and was stick boy. Looked like he barely fit in his tan uniform. But he was in uniform doing traffic stops. He's bulked up now. Also people see police in blue jeans like the gang units or I think some undercovers so people might not put 2and2 together and think that you will NEVER see them do a traffic stop. People who watch a lot of TV/movies might see that but not think "is that real life or Hollywood spin?" Not everyone gets fooled. A couple months ago I saw on youtube a Rescue 911 episode. Remember that show? Well if you're old enough you do, lol. There was a man who was trying to pull over a woman and the lady knew better. Turned the tables on the guy, started following him and called 911.

If you are still having a problem, yes it is a thing with ELS. In your main game folder open the ELS settings file and look for the line; ElsTrafCtrlOn = false Mine says false but yours probably says true. Change it to false.

I see this was a few days ago but if you still have a problem do you mean the uniforms are not matching? If that is the problem you need to install EUP configurations.

I'm guessing it the uniform look you want realistic? I play as LAPD in the city and I use EUP. You can change the uniform look by installing Ultimate Backup. You will need to install EUP configurations also. That alone can make it look a bit more realistic. Through EUP you can customize your own uniform. If you want the AI officers to show up in a more realistic uniform then EUP Configurations will do that. If you want to add more to to their uniforms then you would go into Ultimate Backup files and change it there. The tricky part is knowing what number to change it to and what the titles mean since they are abbreviated. I found a way to do that by going in game and using a combination of EUP and simple trainer clothes menu to find what is what but that is tough to explain. But I did that by customizing my supervisor backup officer's uniform to look like supervisor, main thing was to add shoulder patches of some sort of ranking. That's the way I did it.

How many vehicles do you have loaded via Albo's DLC? I use that but never had it crash. Luckily, I installed everything right. His files of Vehicle meta, handling meta and another file think are like common/shared type. So it is somehow shared with the original game files but the originals are not changed, I don't think. So if you were to just reinstall it then it should give you fresh (empty) files. But you will lose everything you installed through his DLC mod. You might try that.

Well there is one that does exist but I think it needs and update and maybe ELS version is the 74/75 CHP Dodge Monaco. There is one by Solo and it is OK but i couldn't get the lights to look right. I always liked that car.

Never heard of non steam GTA so I guess you mean Retail version. You need to buy the actual game, no pirate versions. Look on youtube and do a search for LSPDFR install and there are a few videos that will show you how.
