I didn't want to start this topic but I can't find where I saw it before. I'm sure I saw someone post a settings line where you can disable the explosion sound when you get close to the suspect during chase. I would also like to disable the screen flash but I don't think I ever saw a settings line for that.

In Ultimate Backup I called First Response Medic and Fire just to see how it is different the regular Fire and Medics. I see they come in the FBI SUV but for both they come in Firefighters full PPE uniform which isn't too realistic getting in and out of a SUV in that uniform. I see you can change that in the UB Special Units XML. I was wondering if I could change it to a EUP uniform. What does the mod UB and EUP Config do? Will that mod allow me to change the uniform?

Ah, yup. When i saw that message in game I forgot to see if BetterEMS worked. Checked now and it does despite the wrong version message. So it's good. I did want to know what you all were using anyway.

I have to do the same thing. Check the force window mode in Rage. Once the Rage splash screen starts loading then you can press ALT+ENTER to go fullscreen and it will work. At least it works for me. That's what I have to do.

I do like how they are called from the FD and Hospital instead of spawning closer. It takes them time to get to the scene which is more realistic. In the mean time you are working at cleaning up the scene. I don't think Better EMS is supported by 0.4 though. I get this message when the game loads.

I installed Ultimate Back Up and Stop the Ped for the first time. I also installed Better EMS. I see UB has and does what Better EMS does. Also I got an in game message saying that Better EMS is not supported by the current version. I assume it's referring to 0.4. Anyway just want to see what you all use. Do you use UB to call EMS and do you find that it dose what Better EMS does?

Yup I say that's normal. I have that same f on that line. I'm still using 4.0. Not sure what the f is for but probably to make something work.

Interesting idea. I think rookies go along with a training officer for a while until they are on their own. My cousin is CHP but I forgot what he said about how he started out. When you are in training you might be the passenger with your trainer driving and I don't think you want to be the passenger the way AI cops drive, especially while they're in pursuit. 🤣

I think some callouts give you a gps once you accept it and others just give you a blip on the mini map that you have to drive towards. I remember when I first started I spent a while driving towards the blip and having to turn around because a road turned into the other direction. It's a pain but you do learn the road. So I don't think there is a problem with the mini map, that is just the way the callout is scripted. What Callouts are you using?

Did you get the message GTAV exited unexpectedly blah, blah blah? Did it crash just just when it was about to load the game? Like in the Rage splash screen one of the last messages is Loading LSPDFR? I had that happen after I loaded EUP but it happened the 2nd or 3rd time after loading it. I thought maybe it was a problem with the custom uniforms and characters. After retrying to start it 3 times it finally loaded. I don't know why. It could be the L.O. pack or the EUP Menu that may need tweaking but that would have to be done by the author.

Assorted Callouts should not be showing in your Rage plugin screen. It loads automatically when you go on duty. Check out Albo's video about installing this particular callout. The versions he mentions are different because of tons of updates since but the install method is the same from what Albo said. Also if you are looking for another Trainer besides Native, I use Simple Trainer. I think most don't use Native, they use other trainers like Simple and there is another one but I forgot what it's called. When you install another Trainer just delete Native Trainer asi. that is in your main directory. Or else it might bring up Simple Trainer (If you choose that) and Native Trainer since they both use the same key to open them. And you just need one. Here is the link for Simple Trainer. Hey there, I noticed this after I installed EUP. There is this little scene that shows up once in a while for me and this time I noticed that the guy behind the desk is SAHP air divisions when usually it's LSPD. This is in the Downtown station as you can see. Is this a 0.4 issue or EUP? Noticed this after I installed EUP.

Not a big bug, but when I load LSPDFR and I go off duty it will return to the last character you used. When doing that it took all my weapons away that my character had (Michael) in the last played mission. So I use Simple Trainer to get the weapons back and I select all weapons so i get everything. Then when I select a weapon and aim it crashes the whole game. GTAV says something like the game closed because of an unexpected error. But if i select individual weapons it seems to be fine. So it is something when you select all weapons in Simple Trainer, off duty and crashes the game when you aim any weapon. Sometimes I'll mess with the cops and have them chase me and I'll load that through Rage so some of the plugins will show up in game even though I'm off duty. Like Ambient FX, PLD and a few others that are mods that work weather you are on or off duty. Just a small bug and probably not one that anyone would notice unless they did it the way I did here.

When you press N to bring up Pursuit options and enable/disable Pursuit Tactics, what are the tactics? I looked in the 0.4 wiki but it doesn't say what those tactics are. So are they for your backup to do tactics on suspect when enabled? Are the tactics like PIT and ramming into the back of the suspects vehicle? Those are the only tactics I've ever seen. Or is there more to it? Mine are always enabled and there are times when AI just hang back, in fact if you slow down they may slow down during pursuit. Sometimes they take the lead and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they try to pit and sometimes they don't. So i was wondering what the tactics are and why backup doesn't always use it. Thanks!
