Any time a government is given more power, it leads to more abuse of that power. One of the most worrying things about this is that Obama has an unacknowledged kill list that current and former aides have mentioned. Considering that the next state over from me classified me as a potential "terrorist militia member" because I am a Ron Paul supporter, I would have more to lose from something like this than most on this site. One of the things Rand pointed out was that Anwar al-Awlaki's (the first US citizen killed abroad by drone strike) son was killed in the drone strike. When asked for comment, the White House official stated something along the lines of "he should've had a better parent." Also, there have been hundreds of innocents killed overseas simply because they were in the same area as a target, I'm not willing to take that chance with American citizens.

YES! I'm not the only one who knows what's going on! For those who don't know, Rand Paul is blocking any proceeding votes for Obama's CIA chair, John Brennan, over drone policies. Just a few weeks ago, the Department of Justice came out with a report on what classifies Americans as potential drone targets. While I don't agree with Rand on everything, I am happy to stand behind him on this issue. I'm re-opening this as I don't see why this needs to be locked. Surely more controversial things have been posted on here without issue and politics have been discussed before (Sam even started one for the last election).

I like the idea of calling a designated vehicle for transport. One of the cities near me doesn't transport at all in patrol cars, and instead has vans for people.

I usually don't use it for single player, but I can't imagine it having any issues besides overlapping the ELS street display.

Even though this was designed for MP, you can use DAS in single player for street names. The only problem is that it may overlap with the ELS street names, so I would suggest downgrading to ELS V5 if you use this. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=799

My best advice would be not to take any suggestions or advertise your skills unless you are confidant you can do it (with actual testing of your capabilities in game). A lot of people have been down that road before and have been in over their heads with requests.

In Vietnam to Gulf War 1 the US military used the m16 carry handle with aperture sights, some special forces were using early versions of aimpoints by the late 80's and early 90's. Currently it is various.I know for sure basic infantry has eotech 553s, ACOGs, some have Eotech's with flip to side magnifers, and aimpoint COMPM4s, but most of it is ACOGs. Special forces have the same, but I have seen them use Elcan and Leupold scopes on their rifles. Light machine guns will either have iron sights or about 1/3 to a half, depending on units, will have Elcan sights and a few have ACOGs. One real nice scope that is on some of the Barretts will automatically make corrections for bullet drop and wind conditions.

Mainly because they are keeping the unlocked models exclusive to themselves (which is understandable), it went from 4 people releasing Caprice and similar car models to only one (CJ24). Even if someone wanted to, they would not be able to gain access to a model without it being given to them (which almost never happens in any community) or if they would create one themselves, requiring a third template, which converting skins gets more annoying with each model. I wouldn't call what GPM is doing "cracking down". As someone on GPM pointed out, the modders could be charged with whatever laws people on here are trying to charge them with, since some of the models they use are ripped from other games. Even if they would crack down, they couldn't do anything except on their own site.

What's nice looking to us may not be nice looking to you. You're going to have to be more specific that that.

Depends on what department I have in game and what I feel like. Lately, I've been using a K-9 CVPI or a slicktop caprice or interceptor. Whenever I put Alaska State Trooper cars in my game, I use Yakadafi's 2010 Expedition Slicktop with my custom K-9 skin on it or the unmarked car.

From what I know, you can have as many liveries as you want on a car, but it is up to the modeler whether he wants to take the time to do that. Personally, it's kind of annoying having to put the same skin on a car 4 separate times (alm doesn't always work for me), I can't imagine doing it for 10.

From what I've seen on the show, troopers are given any car depending on their patrol area. However, Sergeants are more likely to be given unmarked vehicles.

Based on the job I have (gun store), as long as you meet the minimum age laws, you can work anywhere, you just may not be able to do certain things. I can do anything at my job besides sign off on sales, which I can't do until I'm 21. If you are going to do something maintenance wise, you stand a lot better chance of getting the job because it saves the more knowledgeable and better selling workers time.
