  1. Never knew about this feature. might give it a try when i play LCPD:FR next time =)
  2. I have stated in a few topics over the years i have been here. I was originally going to be a Police Officer with the Tasmania Police here in Australia, however with their extremely ridiculous requirements and how i have seen some officers behave/interact with the public.. i soon realized that i would never be a police officer in this state, if i lived in a different state then my decision would be different. Now, i'm working towards being a CSI (or known here as a Forensic Analyst) so i still get to work with law enforcement but i don't have the danger.. and i get to have fun on occasions. I'll need to finish my final year of college (which is defined different to American college), then i'll need to do a 3 year course at University so i can get a bachelors degree in Criminology.. if all goes well i'll be processing crime scenes in 2019.
  3. Honestly.. Even if your charge was removed.. no police force will hire you because the chance of them getting a bad reputation is high, You was stupid and shot a kid in the back with a BB gun, how do they know that you won't do it out in the street with a REAL gun?, plus failing to check the line of fire wouldn't work.. to shoot someone in the back you would've needed a clean shot, so by aiming the gun, you would've known he was there.. unless he just came out of nowhere. with your charge, people will find out and will harass that department, you're too much of a safety and a reputation risk for any department in the world to even consider hiring you. plus like Dayton17 said, a pardon is only going to work on regular jobs, any law enforcement jobs will find that charge.. since they have access to files that the public can't view. if i was you, i'd consider finding a new career and forgetting about the policing career.. that went out the window when you were charged.
  4. LCPD:FR can be activated any time during the story, so no you don't have to complete the game.. However you do have the complete in the Introduction Mission "The Cousins Bellic", after that you can save your game, exit and install LCPD:FR =)
  5. Happy Birthday even though it's most likely not your birthday here in Australia because we're a day ahead of most countries! =D
  6. I barely talk to anyone in real life.. Since starting homeschool last year i have sort of lost touch with friends from primary/high school (australian education system fyi). i occasionally chat to the mvia facebook.. I also have friends from different countries who i've met via different forums that i talk to on a daily basis.. other than that, i barely talk to anyone.. and i don't feel lonely... then again i'm studying to be a CSI and sit down late at night researching famous open murder cases and see what the evidence says and try to get a suspect.. and i do that for fun, so i'm not exactly a normal person. Talking to them via online or IRL doesn't make me feel lonely.. i don't think i have ever felt lonely in my life. Although for other people.. it might make them feel lonely, it depends on THAT specific person.
  7. Nice! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. It seems like an interesting idea!
  8. I never really read.. the only thing that i read that could be classed as a book, is Graphic Novels.. which are all Batman xD. i've only just started reading graphic novels too, so yeah.. you can tell i'm not a big reader.
  9. I found it funny and was laughing through the whole video, I don't see why anyone wouldn't find it not funny. Then again, you need to right sense of humour to find certain stuff funny.

you don't need to save your game progress with LCPD:FR, your stats (Crime Statistics on your page) gets updated automatically.. if you have your account linked in game. 1.0d also comes with an auto-save feature.. i can't really talk about that feature and what it does, since i haven't used it. But like ineseri said, there isn't really anything to save. the only thing that gets saved during your LCPD:FR sesion is your stats.

  12. People can't upload original GTA IV vanilla files here, since it's considered piracy.. you'll need to re-install your game to get the original files.
  13. Holy crap that was awesome! I survived.. and i have decided to purchase the game. more devs should release interactive videos like this.. because well.. it's freaking awesome!
  14. Use your QAM to call in backup.. it hasn't been removed, i think it just doesn't spawn cars automatically.
  15. I pre-ordered around November i think.. Soon after they announced it for PC i pre-ordered it, All paid off waiting for pickup at the end of January =) Hopefully my PC can handle it though.. it better because i paid $2000 so it could run Batman Arkham Knight so i didn't need a next gen console.
  16. Turn Autosave off in the LCPD:FR.ini. and then delete your savegame.fr (wherever that is located).
  17. I find Mirillis Action! is a good software to record (pretty cheap at $30) However i wouldn't reccommend it if you're using any type of ENB, since it doesn't work with it.. and will just crash your game on start up (they're trying to fix this issue).
  18. 19th Jan, 2012 is when i signed up.. So coming up to 4 years being here.
  19. It's actually a pretty good setup (especially with your SLI graphics card). As for your OS i can't say.. since i do use Ultimate, but that's the only version i have used of Windows 7 so i can't say if it's better or worse than other versions.
  20. Mafia 2 kinda covered this.. Empire Bay is based loosely on New York.. which Liberty City is also based on. But honestly, a criminal version would be good (we saw the legal side of the 40's in LA Noire), Although it might be classed as a copy to Mafia 2 though =/
  21. On my old setup, i could run 20 minutes with mods.. since upgrading my PC i can now run my game over an hour with mods.. and that's without crashing.. i don't crash anymore on my new setup =)
  22. Happy New Year to you and your family! Also, Welcome to the LCPD:FR community =D
  23. Since it's already 2015 here (and has been for over 12 hours now) i guess it's not what they are.. but what they were. before 12am we just watched the televised count down on TV, when it reached the countdown we counted down.. then went outside and set off fireworks. after that, i just went into my room and talked to people on Steam while trying out 1.0d.
  24. It happened because the firearm was not secured properly.. rather than having it holstered (which is what you're meant to do), she had it in her handbag.. which i believe was in the trolley with the child.. child got it and fired it.. which obviously killed the mother. Honestly, i don't blame the child.. because a) she is a toddler and doesn't know right from wrong.. nor does she even know what a gun is... the mother was a t fault for not securing the firearm in a safe way
