Hi everybody :D
Welcome to the community! My advice is to run.. run as fast and far away as you can. O.O Just kidding! We're all a great bunch here. Regarding your IRC question. I don't think LCPD:FR has one.. although we do have a Team Speak channel, details can be found on the "MORE" tab on the top of the webpage.

Which Operating System Do You Perfer?
I prefer Windows 7, mainly because 1) i love Windows 7 2) it supports nearly all the games (including some older games that Windows 8 won't support) 3) I cannot for the life of me work my way around Windows 8.. especially the app page (i have had to fix both my parents and my sisters computers in the past.. they both run Windows 8, it was hell) Also, i think Windows 7 is more gamer friendly.. and the only reason i use my computer is for gaming, internet and school work.

Every police car that is Australia, are ELS enabled. So for the lightbar to work you'll need to download ELS. You can download the latest version of ELS here (ELS V8) - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Here is a tutorial on how to install ELS V8 incase you don't know how to install it -

Need a little advice
A religion is based on YOUR beliefs, somebody choosing for you but you don't believe in that.. then it wouldn't make sense, you can't be forced into religion. Take me for example, I'm atheist.. so it wouldn't work for someone to force me to be Christian because i don't believe in their religion, nor do i think God exists. being religious is about what YOU believe, not what other people believe.

Far Cry 4 Photography
Rather than linking all my screenshots, here is my Steam gallery. my earlier shots were on the High settings, while my latest is on the Nvidia setting. i get little to no lag, the lag was caused by background programs. however Razer Game Booster has fixed this problem. My Far Cry 4 - Kyrat Edition Gallery - http://steamcommunity.com/id/gamer9762/screenshots/?appid=sc_344856&sort=newestfirst&browsefilter=myfiles&view=imagewall I pre-ordered it about a month or two before the release, and i'm glad I did.. although it's pretty much an improved version of Far Cry 3, it's still a beautiful game to play.. mainly because of the environment/world it's based in.

What browser do you prefer to use?
I always used Firefox, however it kept crashing and scripts stopped working, not to mention sometimes YouTube videos would just lag.. Now i switched to Google Chrome and all my worries are gone. So.. I use Google Chrome xD

Officer Wilson will NOT be charged in the shooting of Mr.Brow
It wasn't a statement, more my opinion. However 99% was a bit exaggerated, probably 25% of cops say that to save their ass. and in this case i believe he was saving his ass, he only got away with it because he is a cop and there is a lack of evidence to suggest otherwise.

HELP: My GTA IV keeps crashing
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you're crashing because of your mods... You should try removing some scripts, the more scripts/mods you have the more chance you'll crash

Officer Wilson will NOT be charged in the shooting of Mr.Brow
yeah there is, but every situation is different. There was no need for the officer to go for his firearm. Also if the suspect wanted his gun so bad.. he would've attacked the officer, Officer Wilson sustained little to no bruising.. which wouldn't be normal in a situation like that. http://www.businessinsider.com.au/darren-wilson-injuries-grand-jury-2014-11 No blood, no scratches.. just two brusies, to his cheek and neck, which is barely visible.

Officer Wilson will NOT be charged in the shooting of Mr.Brow
Because the suspect isn't going for the OC Spray.. He is more focused on the gun, which is a perfect opportunity to grab your OC Spray. Plus with OC Spray you don't need to "prepare", with the firearm you have to hold it a certain way, then you have to aim in a way it's not going to miss your suspect and a bullet randomly flies off in a direction where it could kill someone. With OC Spray, you point it, flip the top and spray. THEN the suspect would be incapacitated because he won't be able to see.. which then he won't be going for your gun. Like i said, how do we know that he was going for his gun? the officer in question said it.. which could be a lie to save his ass.

Officer Wilson will NOT be charged in the shooting of Mr.Brow
YOu can still have law enforcement and not have things like this happen. If you're in a struggle with someone, who is going for your gun.. You don't go for it yourself and tru to unholster it, because the enemy might grab it from you.. unholserting it gives the guy more of a chance to shoot you with it. Officer Wilson didn't even mention about using other methods, he went straight for his gun.. He has a can of OC Spray in his holster, he could've sub-dued a suspect with that, one spray in the face, he goes into pain and then you can sub-due him. This "police officer" is trigger happy and wanted to use his firearm. Nor is there any proof that Mr Brown went for his gun.. because he is dead, the officer can say whatever and then there is no one to counter the accusation.

Officer Wilson will NOT be charged in the shooting of Mr.Brow
Honestly, after reading news reports, i don't think he should've kept his job, The only reason he would've kept his job is because he has the role of "police officer" these situations are tricky because if you let him keep his job riots happen, if you fire him then police officers will be pissed off to the point they most likely won't show up for any other court cases.. which results in criminals being let into the street. if i was on that jury, i would've voted guilty.. because honestly his "he went for my gun" story sound like absolute bullcrap.. he is saying that to save his own ass, 99% of cops always say that. I couldn't care less which way you put it.. in my eyes, it was murder.

Crash due to too many modded cars
There isn't really a fix, it doesn't matter if your PC can or cannot handle modded cars. If you put modded cars in then you're risking a crash, if you have too many high poly cars in one area that'll cause a crash. Modded cars use way more resources than a stock standard IV car.. which GTA IV can't handle because it's using up resources. The only way you can fix the crash is to don't use modded cars, or find low-poly cars.

What do you prefer reading?
Reading things in general, like forums, internet pages, YouTube comments etc i like to do. However reading books i don't do, mainly because.. i hate reading xD The only "books" i read would either be strategy guides or comic books (which are just Batman comics/graphic novels)

Gotham (2014 TV series)
I agree, Although that's why i said you'll have to forget everything you learnt from the other Batman media.. The creators have re-written the characters back story so everything has changed, whether it's the nicknames they get called, their personalities or even the things they do. The only character that hasn't changed is Bruce Wayne, they kept his backstory how it was when Batman was first created.

Gotham (2014 TV series)
Yup, There is the old cars which could suggest it is set in the 70's, the cellphones which suggest the early 2000's and then the building which look very modern.. So it could be up to the viewers to decide. there is so many different style of things that it's hard to actually give a time setting, a few people have said it's set in the 70's, Ben McKenzie stated it's modern day.. then the creator said there is no time setting (which i just learnt) so i don't think anybody knows what setting it is.. which is brilliant because anything can happen.

Gotham (2014 TV series)
This was taken from another internet site. EDIT: Although this isn't connected to the other universes, that's why there is no time period, it's the past (which would've been around the time period of the 80's to the 90's if it was going by Gordon's and Bruce's age depicted in a Batman today) mashed into the present.. so Batman would be created in the future. My guess is, that you need to forget everything you have learnt during different Batman media.. And re-imagine it as if it has happened today with Batman not even thought of yet. Although that being said, as there is no time period.. the creators might have left it up to the viewers to decide what time period it is.

Gotham (2014 TV series)
Yeah, the only resemblance GCPD has with NYPD is the city it's based on.. Gotham City has always been based upon New York City. just remember that GCPD is fictional, so it doesn't represent any kind of Law Enforcement.. plus think of it as a whole new department.. Like the LAPD, NYPD, MDPD etc.. they all have different styles to make their department unique. GCPD isn't meant to look like any other department apart from what they want it to look like. Regarding the time it was set in, Gotham is set in Modern day.. But Ben Mckenzie said in an interview that they liked it unique so they added old cars. more of a modern day with an old twist. which i think is actually pretty good. in every Batman (apart from Nolan's movies) the GCPD cars have always been based on oldish looking cars that are from the 70's to the 90's.

Windows Live not working...
Unfortunately you cannot access the online aspect to GTA IV as xlive.dll disables that, the only way you can play LCPD:FR online is if you use dsound.dll

LCPDFR beginner's guide.
You can also check out YouTube, There are many people who play LCPD:FR, so you can watch and learn from some of them if you don't exactly know what to do. If you want to look at the controls you can always consult the manual that comes with LCPD:FR (like what ineseri said). The whole point to LCPD:FR is to have fun being a cop, you don't have to be realistic.. but if you wish, you can. Since Liberty City is fictional YOU make the rules because there are no base rules to follow. As for clans, people put links in either their signature or on their profile.. You can also look on YouTube as most clans do patrol videos, so that'll give you a basic look on how they operate.

can i run gta iv and icenhancer 2.1 final, in my specs ?
Yes, it should do. To be honest those Specs are probably decent enough to run GTA V when it comes to PC (i say probably because no-one knows the PC specs for the game).. So you should tun GTA 4 with ICEnhancer quite smoothly.

Any pc that will run lcpdfr for sale in the USA?
You can buy a new PC from either a computer shop, or online. Whether it be in parts and you assemble it or it's pre-built you can purchase a PC in the US online. which would be better since it's brand new and with pre-owned PC Parts you don't know what they have been through so there is no idea on how long the parts will last before they die. have you tried www.newegg.com? they sell pre-built and PC parts there. they ship to the US because they're based in the US.
