  1. So, you've taken your original RAM out and replaced it with your new RAM and your computer doesn't boot? I'm guessing it boots when you put the original RAM you had back in? I had the same problem last year, I can't remember if it got fixed by using different RAM or not. I tried everything i could think of to fix it then finally gave up and took it to a local PC store to see if they could fix it and they tried a few different brands of RAM. The problem is your Motherboard doesn't like the RAM you're using, so it's rejecting it for some unknown reason. My advice is to wait for your support ticket to be dealt with, or take it to your local PC place and get professional advice like i did (i got lucky and they didn't charge me anything, however they may charge you.. depending on the company). I really hope you get your problem sorted, because like i said i had this trouble and it was a pain in the ass!
  2. Did you install LCPD:FR before or after you put in ELS V8? If you installed it before, then chances are you replaced the AdvancedHook.dll file with the one that came with ELS V8, Simply download the manual installer of LCPD:FR 1.0 and grab the AdvancedHook.dll file from that and copy it into your game directory. If you're using LCPD:FR and ELS, and you install ELS last.. only put the ELS.ini and ELS.asi files into your directory (along with your ELS folder which has your _SLOTCONTROL and default_config files). Also, I noticed in your LCPD:FR log that it's "saving" your game.. Some people have reported to have problems with that feature of 1.0, so disable it in your LCPD:FR.ini file and delete your save file for LCPD:FR (where ever that is located, i'm sure someone kind will tell you that).
  3. Technically there are already children in GTA. However you'll never see them outside of cutscenes. Rockstar would never put children in a GTA game.. They were going to with GTA 3, however they were cut out. Plus, i'm glad that there aren't children in GTA.. I don't know about all you, but i wouldn't like killing a kid. whether it be in a video game or not.
  4. If everything works fine in single player, then your problem is most likely with Multiplayer. Keep in mind that LCPD:FR isn't supported with MP and was only made to work on single player. That being said, both of you should change a few settings in the .ini file (disabling autosave, preload models etc) Also SMPA60 errors are usually caused by mods, so you and your friend should double check to see if any mods weren't left in the directory after a reinstall (it might have said the game is uninstalled but modded files could still be present). If that doesn't work and you really want to play MP, You might need to downgrade from 1.0 to 0.95 (although it's no longer being supported some people have said that 0.95 is more stable in multiplayer).
  5. Vidoegames are apart of my life.. So they'll be around for a veeery long time, however Killers don't kill people from 9 to 5 so as a CSI (if that's my job) then i'll be investigating at very weird hours so i don't know how much time i'll have to play.
  6. Install SNT, then go into game. Press F3 (opens up SNT) - go to options - go to second page - click Enable/Disable Keys (make sure it's disabled) - then click "Save Settings to Trainer.ini" Or you can open up your trainer.ini file look for KeyBindingsDisabled=0 and set it to 1 (so it looks like KeyBindingsDisabled=1)

I think the multiple partner feature came with LCPD:FR 1.0d, i'm sure i seen it being posted by the devs.
  8. http://openiv.com/- That is the site to download OpenIV, If you downloaded from somewhere else then it's probably a fake OpenIV software. You can also download SparkIV (i use it with no problem) from here - http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=326&id=28310
  9. Wouldn't be that hard to make one though. You don't even need to scratch model one.. just massively editing a Chevy Suburban would work since it has the same type of body structure.
  10. As long as you make backups before overwriting them then it'll be fine =)
  11. I'm pretty sure it's possible, however you'll need to mess around with some DAT files to make them drive it (i don't know what files they are.. google search will find out).
  12. No problem! For future reference, if you have LCPD:FR installed and want to install ELS. just copy the ELS.asi and ELS.ini files over, don't worry about the Advancedscripthook files as it's already in the directory =)
  13. This would be pretty cool! You can rarely get a good view of the vehicle so it'll be hard to model, but i would definitely use it if it was made!
  14. Is it updated to 1.0.7.0? Is it a legitimate copy of GTA 4? are you using mods? are you also running it as admin?
  15. Antiviruses block programs that they think could be a hazzard.. It's called a false-positive. There is nothing wrong with OpenIV, or SparkIV (another program that can be used to install mods into GTA 4). Just disable your antivirus while using OpenIV. Also, like others said, watch tutorial videos on YouTube, thats how everyone else learnt to mod GTA. It's confusing to begin with but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot easier.
  16. You may have replaced the LCPDFR advanedhook.dll file with the one that came with ELS. Just download the LCPDFR 1.0d manual installer, grab the advacedhook.dll files out of that and drop it into your GTA 4 directory and it should work.
  17. You're using the 0.95 version, which is outdated and no longer being supported! Upgrade to 1.0 (latest release is 1.0D). Download it from here! - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  18. Did you install ELS before or after LCPD:FR?
  19. They should keep going with their original design of the ALPR on the light bar... Because those white "boxes" just look horrible!
  20. I've been reading a couple articles about Windows 10.. at first i didn't like it, but after hearing it's meant to be good for gamers.. i'm seriously considering upgrading to windows 10 from 7.
  21. For us to help you, you're going to need to give us a bit more information than you supplied.
  22. I think it was Sam. I know Olanov and Custo were working on some aswell (don't know if they are working on the whole SAPD or just the SD divisions.)
  23. VAC bans are essentially only issued to people who are hacking in multiplayer games (CS,COD etc). Modding GTA IV won't get you a VAC ban, like other have said, Many people use the Steam version (including myself) and they've had no problems at all.
  24. Have a look around in the forums, I swear i saw a topic where someone was doing all of the GTA V police voices into GTA IV (i could be wrong though).
  25. Right now i'm single.. just not long got out of a relationship with a girl that flirted with guys behind my back.. So right now, i'm happy to be single.
