With 0.95 i could play for an hour or an hour and half without crashing (i would only crash because of pursuits and the game couldn't handle modded cars and ELS). With 1.0a it will be anywhere between 10-20 minutes, maybe 30-45 minutes if i'm lucky

I'm pretty sure you can only get your lights like that via an ENB. You can check here - http://www.gta4-mods.com/search/ENB Find an ENB that you like that is in the low to medium range and try it out.

If you want bright lights, you could use the radiance mod, there is a setting for bright or very bright. I used that with the realistic time cyc v5 and it looked good.

Realistic Time Cyc V5 might work. It's not an ENB but it does look good. You could also look around for an ENB for low end PC's, Just google it and some should come up (you might need to test a few out so make sure you back up your files first)

Having a store wouldn't be a bad idea, the money you make could go towards the site (security protection, keeping it running etc) and the devs could have some spending money of their own. plus the community will be getting something out of it aswell.. it's a win win situation :D

Why don't you send the person who made the texture you want a message and see if he can make one for the impala? it might be a long shot but it's worth a try

Hey might be wondering what mods will make it crash so he knows not to download them. OP - If you mod GTA 4 it will make it unstable, so there is no saying on what will or won't crash because it depends. Every mod you add makes the game unstable, but most of the time it's high poly car mods, scripts and graphic enhancement like ENB, Realistic Time Cyc.. oh and map mods that make it crash

Making mods is free (except when buying the program), so don't offer people money.. unless you want to donate some money. Nearly every modeler will do it for free, you just have to find someone that has time to do it.

Yeah, I'm surprised they never got themselves killed. the doors on the car had bullet proof paneling so i understand they would've stopped the rounds, but the vests would've been torn apart. when they startd taking off their uniforms i was like "how is this gonna help" and when they put them on their patrol car.. well i just facepalmed xD but anyways, SouthLAnd was a great show, this seems like a great show.. in my opinion this wouldn't be better than SouthLAnd but.. To be honest it's pretty close.

believe it or not.. Some of that stupid stuff actually happens to cops from time to time, but yeah, it was a show.. and it was good. i'm not comparing it to SouthLAnd, because well.. that and this are completely different, SouthLAnd focused more on patrol cops (featuring detectives.. they weren't as much in it as uniform) and this is more about the gritty crimes of a detective. this is still awesome and i will definitely be looking around to watch it online (sadly we don't have HBO here in Aus)

I don't know if this is possible since you can change the controls in the INI file. But could a list of controls be implemented into the game? Like how 0.95 had when you press SHIFT + TAB then the controls list came up. people might like to see this ( i know i would) since they'll look in the INI for a certain key, then they'll forget so it'll be pretty handy to have it as an option instead of going to the INI all the time or writing it down on paper

all i can say is.. It's not as good as SouthLAnd but it still seems pretty good, so i'll be watching it

Check out the Textures section on this site, There is some pretty neat skins that texture artists have created. Although there are hardly and skins for that particular model in general. People normally make textures for the 2006 and 2012 model of the Chevy Impala

Only a handful of people know how to convert models from GTA 5 to GTA 4. Your best bet is to talk to SkylineGTRFreak and ask if he can covert the peds.

I don't think it will work (i could be wrong) the sirens were only made for emergency vehicles, so there is no connection or link from the police siren to a civilian car. It's just how the game was made, You might be able to change it through mods/ hacks or changing the game files, But i doubt that's possible

These are really cool, I was never the one to use old cars in GTA (unless i was going realistic modding). Especially with the police, i was always about the new updated cars. But still.. These are awesome!

That shooting was definitely not justified, I could understand if the guy had a weapon or the ex cop felt his life was in danger. But shooting an unarmed man.. Over texting during a movie? That is ridiculous, The shooting could have been avoided. Because of this 71 year old's stupidity, a girl has to grow up without a father. this ex cop is a disgrace, i'm thankful that he is no longer on the force. And i'm glad the other officer did the right thing and charged him for murder instead of trying to get him off and claim it was self defense.

They didn't say they were going to release a PC version at all, So i doubt they'll say they're not making something that they never planned on making in the first place. But it's Rockstar Games we're talking about.. They kept quiet about GTA 5 for 6 years.

LCPD:FR won't work with any map add on since the callouts have been scripted and coded to be in certain places. If you use Vice City, the callouts might be in buildings, water, inaccessible places.. With will make the mod useless. You'll be open to more crashes aswell.. And the only thing you can do is drive and make traffic stops and have the occasional pursuit, It's really not fun or possible to use LCPD:FR on a map add on.

Most ENB mods crash when install. You fix it by going into to your AppData - Local - Rockstar Games - GTA IV and delete the settings folder. After you do that then the game will work and won't crash.

I'm gonna say it's fake, Since Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version. Plus the way he moves the cursor.. It just feels like it's a controller (like the way the in game internet cursor moved in IV and V, I'm gonna say it's a realistic fake. very convincing.. But most likely fake.
