  1. You mean the main character always stands nearby while I'm on duty? Never noticed that until he started shooting at cops lol.
  2. It clearly says "Traffic Policer", first from the bottom. Reinforcements are part of its ANPR callouts and I doubt they have anything to do with LSPDFR. As I said, I never had a problem with them. I suggest you either exercise caution, call for backup before approaching a vehicle so they can arrive in advance, or... Simply don't respond to ANPR hit calls or remove this mod entirely.
  3. Had a really funny bug a few minutes ago. As usual, I went on duty in the Sandy Shores LSSD station, but this time it all glitched. I still got a cop ped and a car, but was unable to pull anyone over and all script commands were unavailable. And... I heard loud gunfire coming from the sheriff's office. I approached and saw... This. My own character lived his own life and was shooting at the cops and at me too. I was unable to hit him though.
  4. It is my understanding that you're using Traffic Policer, where are ANPR hits and perps' reinforcements. I'd suggest to ask in the mod topic so you can receive an answer: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/53801-wiprel-traffic-policer-20-ambient-events-anpr-callouts-parking-tickets-traffic-stop-assist-followme/?page=3#comment-367065 Might have to to smth with the AI targeting only the player and with the AI accuracy too. I for instance never experienced anything like that.
  5. Looks even better now. Thanks :) 0.24 is a bit of a problem tho, over plugins crash frequently. Gonna wait for a massive update. BTW, this is my understanding that all the spawn points are mapped manually? In this case if you need any help with finding spawn points in the desert area (and if such help is at least possible, I remember doing smth like that for GTAIV mods), you can use me. It's just I noticed that Assaul and Unknown Trouble calls never occur in Sandy Shores or Grapeseed (I mean withing the town boundaries, on streets, near the buildings etc). So if that can be helped, I might be of use :)
  6. What happened to all the other police simulator games, that were "in active development" and "almost ready for the release"? I even remember a trailer featuring a pursuing (or so it said). All those topics were like "this is what we all wanted!", "this is THE breakthrough!" And yet here I am, sitting in a Vapid Stanier in the middle of this desert. Good luck and all, but I have a speeder to pull over.
  7. When I was in the States, a neighbour gave me a lift from work once. He was texting with two cells the whole time and barely paid attention to the road. I asked him to stop, and he replied that everyone does that and that's very hard to prove, so he ain't scared. That really pissed me off. At this high speed on dark roads he just doesn't give a fuck about anyone else but himslef. I'd revoke his license for a year or two.
  8. Without a clear description select a house, enter it, shoot a dog, then a person... That's how a potential burglary is handled today? The owner is really lucky to be alive, considering the American policy "shoot to the center of mass".
  9. Rrrrroadblocks, yay! And I have to wait till Friday to test them... Meanwhile may I ask if you can select an agency to block the road (SAHP bikes, why not?) or does the script automaticly choose LSPD or LSSD based on the location?
  10. Never was an issue for me, for example. Even outta in ma dessert those calls appeared quite regularly (which is realistic considering how crime-ridden Sandy is). A slight suggestion: could you consider removing a flat tire from the "damaged vehicle" event? I mean, how can anyone drive on a bare rim, unless that someone is flat drunk.
  11. I think I did or my English is that bad I can't read. >If you don't plan to release something, keep it to yourself, period. All the technical issues were brought in later. As I tried to express in my post, I am not competent enough to discuss the technical side of things, being an ordinary consumer. I simply think this is rude to arbitrary decide how other people should handle the things they make (even if it's not a scratch made model).
  12. Sandy Shores. The city drives me crazy: too wide roads, too crazy traffic, a slight shooting turns a place into a mess with people down, cars wrecked... Moreover, the city is just boring for me. I patrol ma deser yessir. There's plenty of place for everything, from chases to shootouts. And the main road near Sandy is good for catching speeders. However, those foot chases... Meh
  13. As a person who can't model, can't make skins, or can't code (or at least can't code anything that works) I am the useless part of the community. However, as a mod consumer, I just don't understand why there's a desire to force modders to give their stuff unlocked. I used plenty of mods, including Cj24's Enforcer, Yard1's LCPD pack, Ekalb's cruisers, and they all were unlocked "to encourage modelling", and I think that this is good for the community. But if I was a modder and others demanded from me to either release everything as they say or get the hell out I would take the second option and stop releasing stuff at all, both locked and unlocked. It just looks rude to me and it doesn't contribute to good relations in the very same community. All in all, I'm really glad the Community Team took the approach described by Sam above: to encourage unlocked models and to accept the locked ones.
  14. And even longer for federal agencies T_T

  16. I don't think it may be too frequent, people tend to report many people as "suspicious drug-dealing lenin-loving government-hating criminals", and usually it's a false alarm. I also love the idea to make suspects distinct between a marked cruiser and unmarked one. About suggestions: I hope you considered the desert area as a location for you calls as well? There are many places for a drug deal call, including empty farms, Trevor's gas station, airfields. There even could be a call when the pusher is leaving the city and you have to follow him to the country area where the exchange will happen.
  17. I guess these ideas are known for the devs, but just in case I write them here. Sometimes during the traffic stop drivers allow you to check their ID and then take off in a car (or even worse, on foot). This is a habit of drivers in some third-party callouts especially. So I usually order them out of the car either using the interaction menu or by pointing a gun. But unfortunately, it's really hard to interact with a ped by pressing E (so he would give your an ID and such). Sometimes nothing happens, sometimes my officer just swears, and meanwhile suspect can wander off or run (or get back in the car and drive away lol). Another issue is that an arrest can only be performed at a gun point even if a perp isn't resisting. I suggest to: 1. Allow ID checks of an arrested ped or alternatively an ability to detain a ped so he/she still can be checked. 1.1. As a last resort, an ability to ID a corpse (those pursuits!) 2. Allow arrests to be made via the interaction menu (like it was in LCPDFR too) without aiming a gun; 3. Aaand... Maybe... An ability to interact with a passenger without dragging him out? And now for something completely different. When you discover a parked vehicle (with no driver in it) and run the plate, the owner's name that comes up cannot be checked via computer. I guess this is because there's no ped with this name. Can it be improved so we could actually check the owner too? Again, no revolutionary ideas here... Just a few thoughts that might be handy.
  18. Are you one of those guys who keep saying that San Andreas is California? :P
  19. The shooter is dead. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. There's also a letter allegedly from him where he explains that he was harassed at work because of being black and homosexual. I wonder if a court could have taken that into consideration and give him a lenient sentence. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/26/us/virginia-shooting-wdbj/

  21. Spend as many as needed, that fewer can be a bitch. A real one.
  22. They say he's dead. I only wish it would happen before he took two other lives. And also no information about a lady they were interviewing, anybody know if she's alive?
