Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victim
It's your right do to whatever you feel must be done. I simply say our police much rarely uses lethal force, but then again, that's two different societies. Not many russian criminals will take a shot at a cop.

Are you trying to downgrade your GTA V?
Well, I did notice several performance issues, nothing too much, but it happens and it annoys me. I'm certainly not downgrading now, all my mods are online and sound and new cars are cool :D But I did make a backup and not gonna update the game any more. I'm tired of that "have some more panties and skins for you online self while we're screwing the singleplayer guys hard". No sir.

Try explaining that to the US cops. They'll tell you that "there's no way to hit a leg/arm" or "it's too dangerous" or "the training is to shoot to the center of mass". Meanwhile our cops (I mean in Russia) somehow manage to aim arms and legs and successfully hit them. On the topic, the cop is an absolute example of a good cop. He could use some martial arts skills tho :)

gtav update
You can't modify it at all, according to the EULA. So basically R* tolerates our modding. Thanks for that, at least.

gtav update
When you speak about "rights" you move on the legal field, and as far as the law is concerned you have no right to modify the game in the first place. While I agree with you (I got only one spare week before I back on duty and have no time, and now I can't play), we really should wait for the mods to be available again.

7/8/15 Update - SCRIPTHOOK V CRITICAL ERROR
Please imagine I'm a moron (that's so easy to do) and suggest what folder is necessary to downgrade the game. I have whole Update folder backup, is that enough or do I need the whole root folder?

Do you want to see badge themed display pictures back?
Badges are, well, umm, actually, a cool idea. However, whose LSPD badges are really ugly. LAPD badges are neat and nice, even LSSD stars are cool as well. But that shape...

Wallmart And Politics
My post says about "media outrage", which in my opinion takes place. I am not calling those "bans" an outrage, as you said I do. However I do disagree with them, but this all was discussed before. Thank you for clarifying your position. It doesn't sound hypocritical to me. On the contrary, it is one of those opinions I was interested in.
-
Wallmart And Politics
All right, if you want this. Would you kindly quote me saying "it was an outrage that companies would "ban" the Confederate flag from their stores". No, you respond to something else. You speak about someone being hypocritical, and imply that's me. All you said (addressing to me) is simply "I don't need this topic, you're hypocrite, company did nothing wrong". While this may be true, it has very little to do with the original purpose of this topic. (however I clearly see your opinion on these matters).

Wallmart And Politics
It is referring to your question quoted by me, which, as it seems, you didn't read too. You're lying about "my logic", because in this thread I never said companies can't do things they do. I don't like their decisions - true, I wouldn't do the same - true, I believe they should do differently - true. But they have the right to do what they want, and no one can deny it. (Just as Hystery can call me whatever he wants). I stated several times that the purpose of this thread is to discover opinions of actual Americans, not the info media provides here. If you think this thread should be closed please contact the moderators. I don't see how that makes me a hypocrite. I never said anything about limiting people's free will in this thread or any other. I hope I resolved all the misunderstandings.

Wallmart And Politics
1. No, because you're lying and that is not my logic. 2. What does gay couples have to do with it? Nothing. Guess you didn't even read what I've posted.

Wallmart And Politics
Well, I'm not looking for any "right" opinion, just trying to get a general feeling about how you live there. I know no better ways then asking people who actually live there, at least it's better then trusting the news. As of where this topic is going, well, I guess the moderators will be quick to deal with it in an event of any rules violation

Wallmart And Politics
Well, considering that major companies have already banned this flag, soon it might get hard to use a different company. This thread is not about it tho, I'm more interested in why this is happening. They refuse to bake one flag, but readily agree to make another? I think the corporations made those decisions considering people's opinion. And the purpose of this thread is to try and understand people's opinion in the US on this topic.

Wallmart And Politics
Please, TheDivineHustle and TheChef, there's really no need to turn aggressive and offend each other. Even if your views differ, it can be discussed in a peaceful way, can't it?

Wallmart And Politics
well, Wiki says it was CSA's national flag. And, actually, thanks to the freedom of speech you can call me a southern racist piece of crap from the butthole of the world, and that's your right. My right is to wave any kind of flag unless it is prohibited by the law. I have no clue how US laws govern that issue, but here if an organization is declared a terrorist organization, you cannot display its symbols, it's a criminal offense. Of course, "me" is an example, I don't even own this flag.

Wallmart And Politics
Good, the hope is returning to me. I assume you saw he video with Berkeley students ignoring the ISIS flag, it made me kinda worried. On the other hand while I was working in B-more my boss from Tennessee wore a t-shirt with a CSA flag on it. No one of my colleagues was offended in any way, and they were black (me and John were only two whites, and we always got along just fine).
-
Wallmart And Politics
Here's the info I wanted to hear. So, generally Americans will react negatively if they see someone with ISIS flag, including reporting the person with it?
-
Wallmart And Politics
So basically for you there's no difference between ISIS and CSA? Really? ISIS is designated as a terorist organisation by the UN and many other countries including the USA. Correct me if I'm wrong but CSA wasn't. I agree with you. One may demand the CSA flag to be removed from the government owned facilities, but all those bans by private corporations and media outrage... However, I didn't want to create another thread about "CSA: good or not". We already have one. I'm interested in how Americans really think about CSA and ISIS.

Wallmart And Politics
Well, that's the Soviet-formed world view here. In 80's it was a confrontation between the USSR and the USA for people here, including my family, and the USA was considered to be a heaven. Ah shieeet, thanks for reminding. http://abcnews.go.com/Business/walmart-apologizes-making-isis-cake-man-denied-confederate/story?id=32103721

Wallmart And Politics
I usually don't like bringing up topics like this, especially when it's about another country, but this hate campaign against Confederate flag really got to me. I see people on this forum, those who I respect and whose knowledge I value, stating things like "Confederate flag represents only racism and should be banned" and it makes me wonder how can this happen in the USA. Here in Russia things like that have been happening for last 70 years, but the USA was always viewed a the last place where freedom of opinion still exists. Well, cut the shit. Here's the story: a man asked Walmart for a cake with Confederate flag with the words "Heritage not hate", and was refused. However when he asked for a cake with ISIS flag, his request was accepted. Of course, Wallmart says nobody knew what the flag it is and so on, but I, personally, do not believe them. For me it is really weird that not many people seem to give a **** about the actual evil (like those berkley students who indireclty supported ISIS flag). However, that might be only a one-sided image media is trying to create. So what really goes on there, ladies and gentlemen?

Callout suggestion: Ambulance escort
I never kill anyone if I can avoid it :D I would rather see a prison bus escort callout, by the way. It doesn't have to go code 3 so there's more possibility it arrives in one piece.
