I actually read the report after I3ubba first explained the things about two investigations. I can't say I am really surprised by the findings. I imagine it's a common thing in many US cities and towns (as it is here, too). However, returning to the topic, I fail to see how this justifies the riots - unless it's virtually impossible to change the situation using legal means. Is the federal or the state attorney able to prosecute city and PD authorities for the activities mentioned in the report?

Here there's no legal definition of an animal, only several state laws mention that domestic animals are cats and dogs only. So my guess is that it's up to a judicial expert to define whether this alien is animal or not. If we ever meet an extraterrestrial being here, we probably would act with caution, and treat an alien like a human to avoid any diplomatic conflicts with them in future.

I don't support these actions of my government, as I don't support many things that take place here. But if you think that sanctions help, they don't. People here became so aggressive towards the US and the EU like they were never before, and that's the only visible effect that sanctions have. Don't forget that for more than 80 years this country's citizens had no right to travel abroad, no free market, not much money (only fixed income), and now it's like "we're restoring the USSR so the world tries to stop us". This is why I hope that the new US President will come up with another strategy that can actually affect our leaders, not the people. (However, arresting Russian property abroad is a pretty good move, lol, it really bites them)

But I don't think people should rely on someone's good will in this issue. Like it was many times pointed out in this thread, there are people who actually need help and it's not their fault.

Under Russian criminal law, for example, every person who committed a crime is criminally liable despite gender, race, nationality, and other differences. With the law being worded like this, it's actually possible to try an alien. For the said alien to be held not accountable for its actions under the same law it has to fail to understand the nature of his actions (which is possible for an extraterrestrial life form), and to be mentally ill at the same time. So if a Facehugger implants an Alien embryo into a person and this person dies the Facehugger will be detained and charged (and severely beaten by our police in the process) even though he might not even understand the nature of his actions.

Hope that the new President will succeed in restoring relationship with my country. Those sanctions, military exercises, and cold-war style rhetoric really start to annoy. Although I'm not sure that Trump is the best person for it...

Nope, I didn't read the full report, only the verdict. I know that Brown was a wanted theft suspect who fought an officer, do the DOJ investigation results contradict it? hard to argue with you since you probably have different experience and data than I do. Maybe in America everyone is eager to work and the rich obstruct them. Up here it's different.

I don't think that by changing the "lights" from red to green in this minigame we actually affected any traffic lights on streets. BTW in V lights do seem random, while in IV they followed a clear pattern.

I could understand if you said "there are 100 reasons and laziness isn't the only one" or "the biggest one", but you say like you personally know every and all people who are poor. There are people who do try to find a job but always get turned down and people who do nothing because they don't care. I believe it's the government's job to provide people ways to the future, especially via education. But creating a job for everyone? Seriously? I live in a country where they had been doing it for 80 years, and we don't have too much to boast about. I remember a girl telling me that cops arresting her for possession of controlled substance was "harassment" and corner boys who sell drugs complaining that those cops keep abusing them. I wonder why... There are actual cases of police violence which do deserve widespread public attention and justice. But I don't think that a robber who got killed while resisting arrest is the one.
